Digital contact tracing and data protection: assessing the French and Portuguese applications
The rapid outbreak of COVID-19 has necessitated a global response to manage the transmission, spread, and impact of the virus. Many countries started developing digital contact tracing applications to contribute to the process of lifting the restrictions imposed on its citizens. Generally, the protection of personal data is a right that appears in constitutional and legal provisions, and its processing can only be performed under very restricted circumstances, the protection of health being a valid justification. This article focusses on the systems developed as digital contact tracing tools in France (StopCovid) and in Portugal (STAYAWAY COVID), presenting their characteristics and the most relevant aspects concerning the processing of personal data. The most relevant positive characteristics of these systems are their voluntary adoption, their developers’ concern with the people’s security and privacy, and the transparency of their functioning. With the negative characteristics, the most relevant are the restricted interoperability with the systems from other EU countries, and the permanent risk to people’s privacy of collecting lists of contacts and the circumstances of their interactions with other users of the systems
Parallel simulation of Population Dynamics P systems: updates and roadmap
Population Dynamics P systems are a type of
multienvironment P systems that serve as a formal modeling
framework for real ecosystems. The accurate simulation of
these probabilisticmodels, e.g. with Direct distribution based
on Consistent Blocks Algorithm, entails large run times.
Hence, parallel platforms such as GPUs have been employed
to speedup the simulation. In 2012, the first GPU simulator of
PDP systems was presented. However, it was able to run only
randomly generated PDP systems. In this paper, we present
current updates made on this simulator, involving an input
modu le for binary files and an output module for CSV files.
Finally, the simulator has been experimentally validated with
a real ecosystem model, and its performance has been tested

Simulating FRSN P Systems with Real Numbers in P-Lingua on sequential and CUDA platforms
Fuzzy Reasoning Spiking Neural P systems (FRSN P systems,
for short) is a variant of Spiking Neural P systems incorporating
fuzzy logic elements that make it suitable to model fuzzy diagnosis knowledge
and reasoning required for fault diagnosis applications. In this sense,
several FRSN P system variants have been proposed, dealing with real
numbers, trapezoidal numbers, weights, etc. The model incorporating
real numbers was the first introduced [13], presenting promising applications
in the field of fault diagnosis of electrical systems. For this variant,
a matrix-based algorithm was provided which, when executed on parallel
computing platforms, fully exploits the model maximally parallel
capacities. In this paper we introduce a P-Lingua framework extension
to parse and simulate FRSN P systems with real numbers. Two simulators,
implementing a variant of the original matrix-based simulation
algorithm, are provided: a sequential one (written in Java), intended to
run on traditional CPUs, and a parallel one, intended to run on CUDAenabled

Spiking Neural P Systems with Functional Astrocytes
Spiking Neural P Systems (SN P Systems, for short) is a
developing field within the universe of P Systems. New variants arise
constantly as the study of their properties, such as computational
completeness and computational efficiency, grows. Variants frequently
incorporate new ingredients into the original model inspired by real
neurophysiological structure of the brain. A singular element present
within that structure is the astrocyte. Astrocytes, also known collectively
as astroglia, are characteristic star-shaped glial cells in the brain and
spinal cord. In this paper, a new variant of Spiking Neural P Systems
incorporating astrocytes is introduced. These astrocytes are modelled
as computing devices capable of performing function computation in a
single computation step. In order to experimentally study the action of
Spiking Neural P Systems with astrocytes, it is necessary to develop
software providing the required simulation tools. Within this trend, P–
Lingua offers a standard language for the definition of P Systems. Part
of the same software project, pLinguaCore library provides particular
implementations of parsers and simulators for the models specified in
P–Lingua. Along with the new SN P System variant with astrocytes, an
extension of the P–Lingua language allowing definition of these systems is
presented in this paper, as well as an upgrade of pLinguaCore, including

Direito penal: análise da condenação do ex-presidente lula pelo crime de lavagem de dinheiro no âmbito da operação lava-jato. consumação do crime de lavagem de dinheiro ou mero exaurimento do crime anterior?
O presente trabalho tem como escopo demonstrar, através da percepção que se tem do princípio da consunção no direito penal, tendo em vista, ainda, a autonomia do crime de lavagem de dinheiro em relação crime antecedente, que, apesar da presença de núcleos típicos similares a outros crimes contra a Administração Pública, a lavagem de dinheiro possui características próprias, albergando bem jurídico distinto, devendo ser, portanto, analisada de forma autônoma quando da efetivação de uma eventual condenação do acusado no processo penal, descaracterizando, assim, o concurso material e o bis in idem (fenômeno do direito que consiste na repetição de uma sanção sobre o mesmo fato). É dizer, por exemplo, em que pese os verbos ocultar e dissimular, do caput do art, 1º da Lei 9.613/98, estarem presentes no texto de outros tipos penais, o crime de lavagem de dinheiro se torna peculiar por ser um sistema trifásico, que requer o dolo específico do agente, que consubstancia na terceira etapa do processo criminoso composta pelo elemento volitivo da reintegração do produto do crime anterior na economia formal. Portanto, este elemento subjetivo primordial individualiza o crime em apreço dos demais, para que, ao analisar um fato criminoso, o magistrado não provoque confusão entre mero exaurimento do crime antecedente com as circunstâncias ensejadoras do concurso material e do bis in idem, mormente estarem presentes atos de ocultação ou dissimulação. Neste contexto, pretende-se ao final analisar especificamente a condenação do ex-presidente Lula pelo crime de lavagem de dinheiro através da conjuntura atual que se tem dos precedentes pátrios, tendo por bem apontar a divergência jurisprudencial e a controvérsia doutrinaria acerca do crime em comento.https://repositorio.uniceub.br/jspui/retrieve/36554/21335036.pd
Membrane fission versus cell division: When membrane proliferation is not enough
Cell division is a process that produces two or more cells from one cell by replicating the original chromosomes so that each daughter cell gets a copy of them. Membrane fission is a process by which a biological membrane is split into two new ones in suchamanner that the contents of the initial membrane get distributedor separated among the new membranes. Inspired by these biological phenomena, new kinds of models we reconsidered in the discipline of Membrane Computing, in the context of P systems with active membranes, and tissue P systems that use symport/antiport rules, respectively.
This paper combines the two approaches: cell-like P systems with symport/antiport rules and membrane separation are studied, from a computational complexity perspective.Specifically, the role of the environment in the context of cell-like P systems withmembrane separation is established, and additional borderlines between tractability and NP-hardness are summarized.Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad TIN2012- 3743
Propuesta de un plan de retención laboral para mejorar el nivel de productividad de la empresa de transportes turismo y servicios generales Vía Latino SAC, en la ciudad de Trujillo, 2018
La presente investigación se orientó a proponer un plan de retención laboral que permita
mejorar la productividad de la empresa de Transporte y servicios generales Vía Latino
SAC; para ello se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual en la empresa Transporte
y servicios generales Vía Latino SAC en la ciudad de Trujillo respecto al área de
Recursos Humanos.
La metodología empleada en la siguiente investigación fue cuantitativa y cualitativa,
utilizando las técnicas como la encuesta, que se aplicó a los colaboradores de la empresa
y la entrevista, se aplicó al gerente. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 18
colaboradores, los mismos que fueron considerados como población muestral; el diseño
de investigación utilizado fue descriptivo de corte transversal.
Mediante el reporte de la productividad se evidenció que existe demora en la llegada de
los ómnibus en su destino esto se debe por cuatro factores importantes que son el mal
clima laboral en la organización, los recursos brindados por la empresa, la falta de
capacitaciones que existe y el mal ambiente que les otorga a sus colaboradores en sus
descansos entre rutas, de esta manera se obtiene los resultados no deseados.
Se determinó que los factores de retención laboral que influyen en la productividad son:
los incentivos económicos, buen clima laboral, capacitaciones, identificación laboral,
planes de carreras, planes de sucesión y reconocimientos. Se concluye que un plan de
retención laboral contribuirá a mejorar la productividad de la empresa, con un
incremento en la productividad de un 3% repercutiendo en una gestión de Recursos
Humanos eficiente y efectiva.The present investigation was oriented to propose a plan of labor retention that allows to
improve the productivity of the company of Transport and general services Vía Latino
SAC; For this, a diagnosis of the current situation in the company Transportation and
general services Vía Latino SAC in the city of Trujillo regarding the area of Human
Resources was made.
The methodology used in the following research was quantitative and qualitative, using
techniques such as the survey, which was applied to the company's collaborators and the
interview, was applied to the manager. The study population consisted of 18
collaborators, who were considered as a sample population; The research design used
was descriptive of cross section.
Through the productivity report it was evidenced that there is a delay in the arrival of
the buses in their destination, this is due to four important factors that are the bad work
climate in the organization, the resources provided by the company, the lack of training
that exists and the bad environment that it gives to its collaborators in their breaks
between routes, in this way the undesired results are obtained.
It was determined that the factors of labor retention that influence productivity are:
economic incentives, good working environment, training, job identification, career
plans, succession plans and recognition. It is concluded that a work retention plan will
contribute to improving the productivity of the company, with an increase in
productivity of 3%, having an impact on efficient and effective Human Resources

Brazilian resorts: An overall performance evaluation for the triennium 2013/2015
En este artículo se analisa la comercialización y el rendimento financiero de los resorts
brasileños em el período entre 2013 y 2015. Las tasas de ocupación, ingresos medios y
TrevPAR fueron analizados y puestos em analogía, donde hemos tratado de detectar el
comportamiento de los índices y la tendência del desempeño em la gestión cotidiana de
las empresas hoteleras. El tempo de la análisis engloba las etapas de pre y post evento de
la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2014. Tambíen se busco detectar los impactos financeiros
generados por el evento global. Además de los datos de rendimento generales también
fueron medidos los valores generados por los diferentes subgrupos de resorts, que fueron
segmentados de acuerdo a su ubicación geográfica - playa y campo - y por tipo de pensión
– los all inclusive y los que operan otros tipo de pension – com el fin de obtener um patrón
estacional de comportamiento que caracteriza a cada uno de estos subgrupos. Además de
las fuentes secundarias también se utilizaron técnicas de investigación com datos
primarios generados por el acceso directo a la base de datos de la ABR – Associação
Brasileira de Resorts, el órgano político principal representante del sector yunto a el
Ministerio de Turismo de Brasil. Este estúdio tiene como objetivo contribuir a la creación
de una herramienta de gestión diaria de los resorts com el fin de generar datos para
mejorar la predictibilidad de comportamento mercadologico futuro de la indústria de
resorts en Brasil.This article analyzes the marketing and financial performance of Brazilian Resorts in the
period between 2013 and 2015. The occupancy rates, average revenue and TrevPAR were
analyzed and put into analogy, where we sought to detect the behavior of revenues and
the trend performance behavior in everyday management of hotel enterprises. The time
of the survey universe involved the stages of pre and post World Cup FIFA event in 2014,
also in order to detect the financial impacts generated by the global event. In addition to
the general performance data were also measured values generated by different subgroups
of resorts, which were subdivided according to their geographical location - beach and countryside - and by type of pension practiced - all inclusive and other types of pension -
in order to obtain a seasonal pattern of behavior that characterizes each of these
subgroups. In addition to secondary sources were also used research techniques with
primary information generated by direct access to the database of the ABR-Associação
Brasileira de Resorts, the main political body representative of the resort area in Brazil.
