Implementing good corporate governance to engage corporate social responsibility in financial performance
Purpose: The aim of this study is to analyze the effect and implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) to engage and perform a proper Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which will impact the social community and finally improve the financial performance of the company. Design/Methodology/Approach: Good Corporate Governance will focus on four variables, such as the Size of Board of Commissioners (SBC), the Independence of the Board of Commissioners (IBC), the Size of the Board of Directors (SBD), and the numbers of the Audit Committees (NAC). As Corporate Social Responsibility will focus on the variable of CSR index required by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) while the Financial Performance will focus on the variable of Return on Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM). The research method in this study is the Tobin's Q method. The population of this research is based on 41 companies which are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2016. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. Findings: Based on the results SBC, SBD, NAC, CSR and NPM do not have significant effect on the firm value while on the other hand, IBC and ROE do. Practical Implications: Good Corporate Governance can reveal proper and significant process including implementing Corporate Social Responsibility in the company. In some case implementing Good Corporate Governance can suppress the turmoil of company activities in the environment. Originality/Value: The negative and significant effect on the company's value does not simply mean inconsistency resulting the negative effect, instead this result indicates that IBC contributed a significant effect on GCG and CSR.peer-reviewe
The Influence of Customer Attitude towards Customer Purchase Decision by Implementing Green Marketing
Indonesia has been taking serious attention concerning the disposal of plastic waste in the ocean. Terrible data concerning plastic trash in the Ocean, harm and kill lots of animals around the ocean where plastic waste was found in the stomach of the sea animals. The purpose of this study is to analyse and implement green marketing in the fast food restaurants to promote and educate customers about the dangers of using plastic products and reduce them from the fast food restaurants. The research is to analyse the customer awareness and attitude towards their purchase decision in relating to green marketing as the intervening variable. The data collection is done through distribution of questionnaire, where the population is consisted of customers from KFC restaurants in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a descriptive and verification research; the descriptive methods are based on assessment analysis and the verification methods are based on quantitative analysis. The sample determination is done through Simple Random Sampling and the analysis technique is using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that customer awareness and customer attitude have positive and significant effect towards green marketing and consumer behavior has the most significant influence towards green marketing compared to consumer attitude. The results show that the KFC customers' awareness concerning the plastic waste is still low even though they understand the danger of the plastic waste, but gradually based on their behavior it starts to increase after implementing green marketing and to educate them the danger of plastic waste and the limitation of plastic products in the restaurants
PENGARUH KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN TERHADAP KINERJA BISNIS INDUSTRI PUPUK ORGANIK
Purpose– The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of market attractiveness, unique resources, and decision to buy towards the business performance of the organic fertilizer industries in Indonesia. Methodology –The research method used is in this research is a descriptive method using scoring analysis and verification method by using quantitative analysis. The determination of the sample is done through Simple Random Sampling because the organic fertilizer industries have the same characteristic, and the analysis tool used is Partial Least Square (PLS). Findings– The results of this study indicate that the unique resources have a significant influence compare to market attractiveness against business performance through the intervening variables of the decision to buy. The decision to buy also has a significant influence on business performance because market attractiveness and unique resources need to obtain the decision to buy from consumers in order to produce good business performance. Implications –Thus, the understanding of the needs and wants of consumers and continuing to develop company resources is something that can improve the business performance of the organic fertilizer industries in Indonesia.Keywords: Market attractiveness, Unique resources, Decision to buy, Business performanc
The Effect of Job Characteristics towards the Organizational Commitment of the Employees
Organization today are facing both the development of the fourth industrial revolution, also known as Industry 4.0 and also the implication of millennial workforce. The objective of this research is to analyze and develop the human resource management in the organization in order to find out the engagement of the millennial workforce commitment to the organization and to find out the impact of the employee turnover intention within the organization. The research in done through the distribution of questionnaire, and the population of this research is consisted of the employees in a local IT provider company in Jakarta, Indonesia. This research is performed by using descriptive and verification method, the descriptive method is based on observation analysis and the verification method is based on quantitative analysis. The sample determination was done through Non-Probability (Random Sampling) and the tool of analysis is using Partial Least Square (PLS). The population of this research is based on 350 employees of an IT provider company in Jakarta, Indonesia. The result indicated that job characteristics have higher significant influence on organizational commitment compared to career development that effect the turnover intention of employees. Organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee turnover intention. This means that in order to counter the turnover intention of the millennial employees, the organization must develop proper job characteristics to suit the millennial workforce which might be useful to help overcome the research phenomenon
MOBILE MARKETPLACE AS A MEDIUM FOR SELLING MICRO SMALL MEDIUM ENTERPRISE PRODUCTS
The development of technology has not only changed the way people communicate, but also their trading methods. Where many e-commerce sites have begun to appear which are useful for becoming a place for buying and selling goods online that can be used by entrepreneurs. This opportunity was not missed by the SMEs, where this marketplace can be utilized by the creative industries. The reason is that the obstacle always faced is marketing. Now with e-commerce like a fresh breeze for them because by using the marketplace their market will likely be wider and promotions are much cheaper . E-commerce or marketplace for SMEs is actually the same as a mall or shopping place which distinguishes it online. Like a shopping center, selling on e-commerce services also requires promotion in cyberspace. Seeing how much activity is spent using the marketplace as meeting daily needs, this is what makes this marketplace hunted. Not only by users but also entrepreneurs . Enthusiastic community increased because it was supported by adequate infrastructure and easy access. The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) revealed the value of investment in the digital market sector in 2017 reached USD 5 billion. This makes the marketplace the most sought after economic sector (Outletz.ID, 2018)
RIBA PROHIBITION FOR THE COMMUNITY ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY
This is a community service related to the development of economic society through socialization on riba and muamalah principle in the daily transaction. Nowadays, some people in Indonesia have begun to care about the dangers of riba and its impact on the economy. Muslims have believed that riba is haram. Some of them certainly can define as well as interpret the term riba. According to the perspective, Islam always encourages the practice of profit sharing and forbids riba. Ironically, there are still many ordinary people do not understand the general rules of riba. In returning the economic and monetary to riba-free system, it is necessary to learn deeply about this subject. For this reason, there is a need for socialization to the wider community to increase good understanding of the riba and get literacy about sharia finance well and certainly can be implemented in family financial planning in Indonesia.  
THE LEVEL OF MENTAL HEALTH OF THE ELDERLY IN THE CITY CLUSTER
Community service has agreed that by analyzing partners, there is a need for proposals to provide alternative solutions that can increase posbindu and create sub-districts that do not have elderly posbindu, and increase the happiness of the elderly group. In addition, training is also needed to increase their enthusiasm and skills and care. The existence of technology transfer then the community with training in genotric care for cadres of Posbindu as partner communities. Therefore, with extension training and genotric care training that can provide added value to these activities. Thus this training can be carried out for the elderly who are offered to provide happiness and health for members of the elderly group as partners. The purpose and purpose of this activity is to provide counseling and provide assistance to make Posbindu that has been actively running. Community Program Activities aimed at Posbindu in West Jakarta specifically in South Meruya with the aim of increasing awareness of the elderly throughout. Increase Posbindu Elderly in each district. Give motivation to Posbindu Elderly cadres to care for the elderly in their respective regions in the care of genotric customers. Contributions made by support groups Get the results of good cooperation between Posbindu members and the Rukun Tetangga, Rukun Warga and the activity implementation team. Elderly members get motivation to conduct gerontic training
THE IMPLICATION OF GREEN MARKETING THAT INFLUENCE THE CUSTOMER AWARENESS TOWARDS THEIR PURCHASE DECISION
The disposal of plastic waste in the ocean has become a serious issue in Indonesia. There has been plenty of news referring the plastic trash in the Ocean, which has harm and kill lots of sea animals around the ocean and also create unhealthy environment. The intention of this study is to analyze and implement green marketing in fast food restaurants to promote and educate customers referring to the dangers of using plastic products and  control them from the fast food restaurants. This research is to analyze the customer awareness and bahavior towards their purchase decision in relating to green marketing as the intervening variable. The collection of data is done through the distribution of questionnaire to the respondents,thecustomers ofKFC restaurants in Jakarta, Indonesia is the respondent of this research. The method of analysis is based on descriptive and verification research, the sample determination is usingPurposive Random Sampling and the data analysis is using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that customer awareness and customer behavior have positive and significant effect towards green marketing and customer behavior has the most significant influence towards green marketing compared to customer awareness. The results show that KFC customers' awareness concerning the plastic waste is still low eventhough they understand the danger of the plastic waste, but gradually their behavior of preventing the plastic products start to increase after implementing green marketing which have educate them concerning the danger of plastic waste and the limitation of plastic products in the restaurants
Servicescape and Service Quality in Creating Customer Loyalty
The development of cooperatives is currently starting to stagnate. This study aims to reveal this research. This research aims to analyze the effect of Servicescape on customer loyalty, the impact of Servicescape on service quality, the impact of service quality on customer loyalty, and the impact of Servicescape on customer loyalty mediated by service quality. This research uses a quantitative method approach. The unit of analysis in this study was all female members of the Padalarang Partnership Village Cooperative in 2016, totaling 125 people consisting of active and passive female members. The population in this study amounted to 125 people and a set precision or a significance level of 0.05, so the sample size in this study was 95 members as respondents. This study was analyzed using multiple linear regression for verification analysis. The findings in this study are Servicescape affects service quality, service quality affects the loyalty of female members, and Servicescape affects the loyalty of female members
Teknologi Tepat Guna Pembuatan Recycle Planter Dan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA)
Utilization of waste for recycling planting or known as a recycled planter, where one of the results is in the form of a plastic container that can be used as a medium for planting TOGA (in Indonesian: Tanaman Obat Keluarga) (family physic medical plants). The recycle planter and TOGA have economic value and health and support the go green program. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an activity to introduce and practice the recycle planter and TOGA. This community service activity is carried out to provide a solution to this problem, where this service activity is carried out in three stages, namely 1) pre-field, 2) socialization, practice, and mentoring, and 3) report and publication preparation. This activity was carried out at RT 02 Tanjung Kertang Village, Galang District, Riau Archipelago Province. The results of this service are in the form of pot planters and TOGA products that can be used by residents. In addition, residents can also apply and practice how to make recycled planters and TOGA plastic containersPemanfaatan sampah untuk penanaman daur ulang atau dikenal dengan istilah recycle planter, dimana salah satu hasilnya dalam bentuk wadah yang dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk menanam TOGA (Tanaman Obat Keluarga), dimana recycle planter dan TOGA memiliki nilai ekonomi, kesehatan dan mendukung program go green. Oleh karena itu maka perlu dilakukan suatu kegiatan untuk memperkenalkan dan mempraktekan recycle planter dan TOGA. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi permasalahan tersebut, dimana kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu 1) pra lapangan, 2) sosialisasi, praktek, dan pendampingan, dan 3) pembuatan laporan dan publikasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di RT 02 Kelurahan Tanjung Kertang, Kecamatan Galang, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.
