A CLINICAL STUDY ON SAMVARDHAN GHRITA AND SARASWAT CHURNA IN CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM BALBUDDHIMANDYA W.S.R. TO MENTAL RETARDATION
In Ayurvedic classics, Balbuddhimandya have been used by Acharyas in the sense of mentally retarded. Many times the word Jada, Abuddha, Nirbuddhi used to mention the low intelligence. In modern world mentally retarded child consisting of below average intellectual functioning and impairment in adaptive skill. The impairments are influenced by genetic, environmental and psychosocial factor, here there are classification of mentally retarded child is also well explained in the form of educable, trainable and idiot.Ayurvedic classics have been systematic etiological background of the problem causes hypofunction of Dhee, Dhriti and Smriti. The experiment is human based clinical trials in which Samvardhan ghrita in Kashyap samhita is clearly mention that this Ghrita is useful in the treatment of Panguta, Mukata and Jadata, where as Acharya Bhavaprakasha explained Saraswat churna is very much potent act as a Medhya, increases intellect against referred disease. The Ghrita is well prepared according to procedure mention in Bhaishajya kalpana to be given orally, nasally as well as anally with Anupan taken as Koshna jal also Churna is to be given orally only.Ayurveda the parental origin of all the pathies may have its proper solution both the corners preventive as well as curative. This science is having holistic approach were Garbhadhan is treated as a holy Samskar. Simultaneously Punsavan, Simantonnayan and Jatkarm samskaras are very pious in reference to healthy newborn. As in Vedas also a special attention is given to increase the Buddhi. Medhya rasayanas and Medhya yogas explained in Ayurvedic classics improves the intelligence and memory also it is increasing the efficacy of Manovaha srotas. In the given study we found that Samwardhan ghrita and Saraswat churna together provided better results in mental retardation
SYNTHESIS OF SOME NOVEL (E)-METHYL 2,4-DIMETHYL-5-(3-OXO-3-PHENYLPROP-1-EN-1- YL)-1H-PYRROLE-3-CARBOXYLATE DERIVATIVES AS ANTIMICROBIAL AGENT
Objective: The objective of the present study was to synthesize a series of some novel (E)-methyl 2,4-dimethyl-5-(3-oxo-3-phenylprop-1-en-1-yl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxylate derivatives and to evaluate it’s in vitro antimicrobial activities.
Methods: A novel series of (E)-methyl 2,4-dimethyl-5-(3-oxo-3-phenylprop-1-en-1-yl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxylate derivative (8a-l) has been synthesized by cyclization (Knorr reaction) hydrolysis, decarboxylation, and Vilsmeier–Haack formylation reaction. 5-formyl-2,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxylate 6 undergo condensation with acetophenone derivatives 7a-l in methanol and potassium hydroxide. The synthesized compounds were screened for in vitro antimicrobial screening.
Results: The structures of the synthesized compounds were characterized by infrared, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance, and mass spectroscopy. The antimicrobial activity data revealed that the synthesized derivatives possess good antibacterial and antifungal activity which is attributed due to the presence of the heterocyclic ring; further, the activity increased with the introduction of a methoxy group in the structure.
Conclusions: New pyrrole chalcone derivatives act as significant antimicrobial agents, easy work-up procedure and reaction take place with minimum side product. Antimicrobial activity report provides an interesting template for the syntheses of new antimicrobial agents and may be helpful for the design of new therapeutic tools
IN SILICO APPROACH TARGETING POLYPHENOL AS FABH INHIBITOR IN BACTERIAL INFECTION
Objective: The aim of the study is to perform a computational study consisting of molecular docking for polyphenols subjected to in silico studies to identify a new lead for antimicrobial activity which has been reported yet or not been used yet.
Methods: The Schrödinger Maestro 11.3 performed molecular docking of the enzyme FabH (β-ketoacyl-acyl carrier protein synthase III) (PDB ID: 5BNR) with polyphenol. The targeted compounds were docked against FabH enzyme and also evaluated for MM-GBSA and ADMET analysis.
Results: The top hits shows remarkable results and good binding interactions with a pocket of the enzyme. The best binding score are as-8.6 (kcal/mol) of Geniestein,-8.579 (kcal/mol) of 4-naphthoquinone,-7.651(kcal/mol) of Pelargonidin. All the targeted compounds were found in the given limits of ADMET parameters. They also showed good free-binding energy.
Conclusion: The computational study reveals that the targeted polyphenols show good binding interactions and are also compatible with ADMET parameters. So, with this, we can conclude that the reported polyphenols can be potent against bacterial infection. In the future, if we derivatized these polyphenols with different substitutions, it can also lead to a potential drug moiety against bacterial infection
A Rare Case of Severe Aortic Regurgitation with Silent Ascending Aortic Dissection
Classically, ascending aortic dissection (AD) presents as sudden, severe chest pain that is tearing type and radiates to the back. Herein, we present a rare case of severe aortic regurgitation with silent ascending AD, which had no chest pain symptoms. The aortic valve apparatus probably masked this AD; therefore, it was not detected by echocardiography and during the surgery
LAN Monitoring Using Android Phone
ABSTRACT: Now a day's android phones are used for the various applications. We can use android phone for monitor and control the network. It is to control the network when network admin is in admin office but it is difficult to control the network from outside the office. It is integrated software solution that allows a network admin to remotely monitor his LAN network by his Android phone with GUI. The main purpose of this application is to provide all the important details of the network to the admin on their android phone with the help of GPRS or Wi-Fi. We are using data connectivity or Wi-Fi to connect the mobile phone to LAN server. And we also are using password encryption for authentication in phone
Synthesis, molecular docking and biological evaluation of new quinoline analogues as potent anti-breast cancer and antibacterial agents
1215-1222A new class of quinoline analogues have been synthesized from isatin through two steps in good yields. They have been further evaluated for their anticancer activity against a breast cancer cell line (MDA-MB-231) and antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus 6538p and Bacillus subtilis) and Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa). All synthesized compounds have been confirmed by spectral characterization viz. FT-IR, MS, HPLC, 1H and 13C NMR. Among them, compound 4h exhibits promising anti-breast cancer activity whereas compounds 4d, 4f, 4h and 4j exhibit moderate antibacterial activity against all the tested organisms. Molecular docking analysis demonstrates the interaction of compound 4h with the active site amino acid of Human Carbonic Anhydrase I, Protein Kinase A and Kinesin Spindle Protein (KSP)
