    PENERAPAN MODEL INDUKTIF KATA BERGAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KALIMAT TUNGGAL SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Siswa kesulitan mengungkapkan ide gagasannya dalam bentuk tulisan berupa kalimat tunggal. Kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa yaitu sulit menentukan pilihan kata, dan merangkai kata menjadi sebuah kalimat sehingga hasil kalimatnya menjadi rancu. Kesalahan yang paling banyak ditemukan yaitu kesalahan dalam penggunaan ejaan dan tanda baca. Proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan masih bersifat konvensional, siswa kurang diberikan stimulus untuk menulis. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan banyaknya siswa yang mendapat nilai dibawah KKM yaitu sebanyak 69,23%. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu penerapan model induktif kata bergambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kalimat tunggal. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) mengungkapkan perencanaan pembelajaran menulis kalimat tunggal melalui penerapan model induktif kata bergambar (2) mengungkapkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis kalimat tunggal melalui penerapan model induktif kata bergambar (3) mengungkapkan peningkatan kemampuan menulis kalimat tunggal melalui penerapan model induktif kata bergambar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terjadi peningkatan kemampuan menulis kalimat tunggal, terbukti dari perolehan nilai rata-rata pra siklus 55,38 meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 62,42 pada siklus II 75,71 dan pada siklus III nilai rata-rata siswa 82,00. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model induktif kata bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kalimat tunggal. Hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada guru agar menerapakan model induktif kata bergambar pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sehingga kemampuan menulis kalimat tunggal siswa meningkat. This research is conducted in the reason of the low score in the students’ competence of writing in the second grade of elementary school in the Indonesian subjects. The students have difficulties to create their idea into the simple sentence. The students’ difficulties are in the term of diction and making an organized sentence. The most errors are the misuse of spelling and punctuation. The learning process is used to be conventional and the students did not get the stimulus to write. That caused many students to get the score below the KKM as much as 69,23%. To overcome this problem, the evaluation class is conducting the picture word inductive model to improve the competence of making simple sentence. The research aims to 1) implementing the lesson plan of writing simple sentence through the picture word inductive model 2) implementing the learning of writing simple sentence through the picture word inductive model 3) implementing the improvement of competence in writing simple sentence through the picture word inductive model. The method that had been used in this research is the class evaluation adopted from the Kemmis and Mc Taggart that consists of three cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps that deal with the plan, implementation, observation, and reflection. The competence’s result to write simple sentence is improving, confirmed by the average score in the pre-cycle is 55,38 become 62,42 in the cycle one, turned into 75,71 in the cycle two, and went to 82,00 in the cycle three. According to the result above, it can be concluded that application of picture word inductive model is improving the competence of writing simple sentence. This result is recommended to the teacher for applying this picture word inductive model to Indonesian subject in order to raise the students’ competence in writing simple sentence

    Mastery of Student Concepts in Physics Learning: Analysis of student learning outcomes based on teacher treatment after using the Discovery Learning Model

    This research aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on mastery of the concept of temperature and heat material. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a quasi-experimental design using Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population of this research is class X for the 2023/2024 academic year at SMK Negeri 09 Muaro Jambi. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique to obtain 2 classes, namely the experimental class with 18 students and the control class with 18  students. Both classes were given test questions in the form of a multiple choice posttest consisting of 5 questions. Based on tests and data analysis, the average score for the experimental class was 70.00 with a standard deviation of 19.70 and the average score for the control class was 58.00 with a standard deviation of 24.22. From the results above, it is found that mastery of concepts using the discovery learning model is better than mastery of concepts without using a learning model. It can be concluded that the discovery learning model influences students' mastery of concepts in temperature and heat material. This is because learning using the discovery learning model can increase students' activeness in learning, especially temperature and heat material

    Understanding Dynamic Electrical Material through Discovery Learning: Does it impact learning outcomes?

    This research aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on student learning outcomes in dynamic electrical material. This research uses a quantitative type of research using pre-experimental methods. The population in this study consisted of all students in class XII MIPA at SMAN 13 Bungo for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample in this study amounted to 33 people, of which the number of students was 18 people, while the number of female students was 15 students. This research was obtained from the results of students' daily test scores on dynamic electricity material. The instrument in this research consists of essay questions in the form of an essay test. These questions are given to students when doing daily tests on dynamic electricity material. Based on the results of students' daily tests, the data obtained an average value of 72.16 with a standard deviation of 10.133. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that the discovery learning model does not have a significant effect on student learning outcomes in dynamic electricity material. This is because the process of implementing the discovery learning model has not run optimally so it has not been able to maximize and improve learning outcomes, especially dynamic electrical material

    Analysis of Students' Conceptual Understanding When the Discovery Learning Learning Model is Applied: Does It Have a Real Impact?

    This research aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on students' understanding of concepts. This research is quasi-experimental research or quasi-experimental research. This research only uses posttests or final tests after being given treatment. The design used was Posttest Only Control Group Design. The research results showed that the average score of experimental class students who used the discovery learning model was 55.44, a maximum of 100, a minimum of 0, and a standard deviation value of 30.072. For the control class using the conventional model, the average score of experimental class students is 40.09, the maximum is 79, the minimum is 0, and the standard deviation value is 25.693. This also shows a positive impact if learning is implemented using the Discovery Learning learning model

    Kompleks Candi Muaro Jambi merupakan salah satu wisata andalan Provinsi Jambi yang mulai dikenal di dalam maupun di luar negeri. Keberadaan jenis-jenis pohon hutan yang terdapat di kompleks percandian Muaro Jambi sangat penting untuk dipertahankan. Kegiatan eksplorasi botani di kompleks percandian Muaro Jambi sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan dalam rangka melakukan inventarisasi dan identifikasi jenis-jenis pohon yang ada. Data yang diperoleh akan berguna dalam kegiatan konservasi dan pelestarian tumbuhan hutan tropis secara menyeluruh. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lokasi Candi Koto Mahligai, di areal resapan air/sepanjang jalur sungai di Kompleks Candi Muaro Jambi, Desa Muara Jambi,  Kecamatan Muaro Sebo, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dan Laboratorium Silvikultur dan Herbarium Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Jambi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama enam bulan dari bulan April sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2018. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis-jenis pohon yang terdapat di areal Candi Mahligai dan areal resapan air kompleks Candi Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Tahapan kegiatan penelitian terdiri dari eksplorasi, pembuatan spesimen herbarium, studi pustaka, identifikasi Jenis. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu suku yang dijumpai dalam wilayah Candi Koto Mahligai dan Sempadan sungai yang terdapat dalam kompleks Candi Muaro Jambi adalah sebanyak 17 suku, antara lain : Anacardiaceae, Burseraceae, Cucurbitaceae, Dilleniaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fabaceae, Hyperaceae, Lythraceae, Malvaceae, Meliaceae, Moraceae, Oxalidaceae, Phyllanthaceae, Rubiaceae, Salicaceae, Sapindaceae,  Verbenaceae. Jenis pohon yang paling banyak ditemui adalah jenis Peronema canescens Jack (Sungkai) sebanyak 86 individu dan Lansium parasiticum (Duku) yaitu sebanyak 38 individu.   Kata kunci: eksplorasi , Candi Muaro Jambi, jenis pohonMuaro Jambi Temple Complex is one of the mainstays of Jambi Province's tourism which began to be introduced both at domestic and international market. The existence of forest tree species found in the Muaro Jambi temple complex is very important to be maintained. Botany exploration activities in the Muaro Jambi temple complex are very important to carry out in order to invent and identify the existing tree species. The data obtained will be useful in the conservation and preservation of tropical forest plants activities comprehensively. This research was carried out at Kotomahligai Temple in the water catchment area / along the river of Muaro Jambi Temple Complex, Muara Jambi Village, Muaro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency also  Silviklutur Laboratory and Herbarium of the Faculty of Forestry, Jambi University. The study was conducted for six months from April to October 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of trees found in the Mahligai Temple area and water catchment area of ​​the Muaro Jambi Temple Complex. This study uses a purposive sampling method. The research activities consist of exploration, herbarium specimens, literature studies, species identification. The results showed there were 17 families, including: Anacardiaceae, Burseraceae, Cucurbitaceae, Dilleniaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fabaceae, Hyperaceae, Lythraceae, Malvaceae, Meliaceae, Moraceae, Oxalidaceae, Phyllanthaceae, Rubiaceae, Salicaceae, Sapindaceae, Verbenaceae.     Indeks Massa Tubuh dan Profil Sindroma Metabolik Masyarakat Usia Produktif di Posbindu Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) Kabupaten Banyumas

    Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaporkan kaitan IMT dengan profil sindroma metabolik sebagai prediktor penyakit tidak menular pada masyarakat usia produktif Posbindu Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan desain penelitian potong lintang. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2017 dengan mengambil data variabel bebas yaitu Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dan variabel tergantung yaitu profil sindroma metabolik yaitu HDL, lingkar perut, tekanan darah, gula darah, dan trigliserida. Sejumlah 107 subjek berusia 15-64 tahun dari 2 Posbindu PTM di Banyumas dikaji data demografis, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dan hubungannya dengan profil sindroma metabolik dengan analisis korelasi Pearson. Hasil : IMT berhubungan dengan beberapa profil sindroma metabolik yaitu berhubungan negatif dengan HDL (P=0,006) dan berhubungan positif dengan trigliserida (P=0,016), tekanan darah diastolik (P=0,002), dan lingkar perut (P=0,000); namun tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara IMT dengan gula darah puasa (P=0,968) dan tekanan darah sistolik (P=0,064). IMT memiliki hubungan dengan beberapa profil sindroma metabolik (HDL, trigliserida, tekanan darah diastolik dan lingkar perut). Kesimpulan : Posbindu dapat menggunakan IMT sebagai parameter untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan pesertanya terhadap risiko penyakit tidak menular seperti Penyakit Jantung Koroner dan Stroke
