Phase ordering and symmetries of the Potts model
We have studied the ordering of the q-colours Potts model in two dimensions
on a square lattice. On the basis of our observations we propose that if q is
large enough the system is not able to break global and local null
magnetisation symmetries at zero temperature: when q<4 the system forms domains
with a size proportional to the system size while for q>4 it relaxes towards a
non-equilibrium phase with energy larger than the ground state energy, in
agreement with the previous findings of De Oliveira et al. (M. J. de Oliveira,
A. Petri, T. Tome, Europhys. Lett., 65, 20 (2004)).Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures; minor text rewordings and changes in figures

Operational Classification and Quantification of Multipartite Entangled States
We formalize and extend an operational multipartite entanglement measure
introduced by T. R. Oliveira, G. Rigolin, and M. C. de Oliveira, Phys. Rev. A
73, 010305(R) (2006), through the generalization of global entanglement (GE)
[D. A. Meyer and N. R. Wallach, J. Math. Phys. 43, 4273 (2002)]. Contrarily to
GE the main feature of this measure lies in the fact that we study the mean
linear entropy of all possible partitions of a multipartite system. This allows
the construction of an operational multipartite entanglement measure which is
able to distinguish among different multipartite entangled states that GE
failed to discriminate. Furthermore, it is also maximum at the critical point
of the Ising chain in a transverse magnetic field, being thus able to detect a
quantum phase transition.Comment: 14 pages, RevTex4, published versio
Efficacy analysis of parasitic integrated control in buffaloes
Parasitic infestations are responsible for economic losses to buffalo farms. Using the scientific support of epidemiological and parasitic studies in this area, the present research aimed to evaluate the efficacy of an integrated control of parasitic disease purposed. The parasitic integrated control provides a schedule for optimize the drugs for parasitic control to reduce the number of treatments, reduce costs and the parasitic infestation impact in animal productions. In the experiment was used a total population of buffaloes reared in a farm located at Minas Gerais State, Brazil. The in the same day the calves, growing males and non lactation animals were treated with doramectin (200 mcg/ kg BW) and the lactation animals were treated with alfa-ciano-3fenoxibenzil-2, 2-dimetil-3-(2,2-diclorovinil)-ciclopropano carboxilaton solution. Calves positive to Eimeria bareillyi and Eimeria bovis oocysts were treated with toltrazuril. The lice population was eradicated and the average numbers of trichostrongylid eggs and Eimeria sp. oocysts were substantially reduced to acceptable account
ANALYSING FACTORS INFLUENCING INTANGIBLE ASSET DISCLOSURE (STUDY IN SOUTH-EAST ASIA AND AUSTRALIA TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY)
This study aims to examine intangible asset voluntary disclosure practices
in annual report telecommunication company in South East Asia and Australia.
This research sample is 75 telecommunication company at year 2007, 2008 dan
2009. Intangible asset disclosure study consist of three categories; structural
capital, relational capital and human capital, based on Oliveira et al. categories.
This study using content analysis method in annual report sample
companies with index developed by Oliveira et al. as dependent variable.
Independent variable which are firm size, leverage, ownership concentration,
EBITDA margin, legal system of home country and secrecy accounting value, are
analysed as factors influencing intangible asset voluntary disclosure practices.
A significant positive relationship was observed between intangible asset
voluntary disclosure and firm size and secrecy accounting value. However,
leverage, ownership concentration, EBITDA margin and legal system of home
country did not influence intangible asset voluntary disclosure practices
Evidence on the relation between public capital and Government efficiency
This paper intends to contribute to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the relation between public capital stock and government efficiency. We present some objective indicators fo government efficiency and explore the mentioned relation. we find a positive and significant relation between both variables that survives the introduction of controls and robustness checking.
