    Motorcycles for competitive purposes require a proper adjustment of ignition to produce the most optimum performance. For this reason, this article presents one of re-mapping technique on the Stand Alone Electronic Control Unit (ECU) applied to 130 cc motorcycle injection for competition purposes. This re-mapping activity aims to produce the best torque and power output. The method used by combining four fuel mappings and two ignition mappings tested with the full factorial design. The results showed that lean combustion and advanced ignition timing were able to produce the optimum torque of 11.57 Nm and optimum power of 19.6 hp

    Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) merupakan bahan bakar alternatif yang memiliki semua sifat kunciuntuk mesin Spark Ignition. Salah satu model sistem pemasukan LPG ke mesin adalah denganconverter kits model vaporizer-mixer. LPG dimasukkan dalam fasa gas melalui throtle body (TB)dalam kondisi panas. Kondisi ini akan mengurangi massa aliran udara yang masuk ke mesin,karena keduanya (LPG dan udara) dimasukkan pada saluran yang sama pada throtle body, yangdiduga menjadi penyebab penurunan daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dugaanpenurunan daya pada mobil berbahan bakar LPG (TOYOTA 4A-FE 1500 cc ) yang disebabkanoleh sistem pemasukan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan pengukuran efisiensivolumetrik pada dua jenis mode bahan bakar (LPG dan bensin). Pada masing-masing modeoperasi, dilakukan variasi bukaan throtle valve dari 8,2%, 9,2%, 10,2%, 11,2%, sampai 12,2% padadiameter airflow meter konstan. Pada konfigurasi tersebut dilakukan pengukuran aliran udara danputaran mesin. Dari olah data, diperoleh bahwa kecenderungan efisiensi volumetrik untuk modeLPG mengalami kenaikan untuk setiap penambahan bukaan throttle, yaitu 36% @8,2%TB dan41% @12,2%TB. Sementara pada mode operasi bensin mengalami penurunan untuk setiappenambahan bukaan throttle, yaitu 37% @8,2%TB dan 31% @12,2%TB. Dari hasil analisislanjut, diperoleh bahwa penurunan daya pada mode operasi LPG dikarenakan pada bukaan throttlebody yang sama, mesin LPG menghasilkan putaran mesin yang lebih rendah yaitu 1690 rpm, @12,2%TB sementara mode operasi bensin menghasilkan 220 rpm @ 12,2%TB

    Review and Bibliometric Analysis of Biogas Power Plants in Indonesia

    The demand for energy is increasing due to population growth, technological advancements, and a growing need for sustainable energy sources. Indonesia, which faces an energy deficit, is exploring alternatives to fossil fuels. Biogas, produced through the anaerobic fermentation of organic matter, offers a clean and sustainable energy option while addressing waste disposal issues. Therefore, this literature review examines various aspects of a biogas power plant, including a feasibility study that encompasses technical and economic analyses, generator design, trials, implementation, and post-implementation evaluation. In this review, we gathered scientific papers from Google Scholar using the keywords "pembangkit listrik biogas" between 2019 and 2022, with a focus on recent content. Patents and citations were excluded from the Google Scholar searches to ensure article relevance. Out of a total of 40 articles, 30 were rejected because they did not originate from scientific journals. The collected articles are categorized based on the materials used for biogas generation in power plants. This systematic approach yielded 10 relevant articles. Consequently, the literature reveals that various raw materials, such as palm oil mill waste (POME), livestock manure, and organic waste, hold the potential for biogas production.     Fuel as secondary refrigerant on LPG fuelled vehicle: A thermodynamics analysis

    In LPG-fueled vehicles, there is a potential cooling from LPG evaporation in the fuel line. Cooling power is obtained without reducing the caloric value of the fuel supplied to the engine. Thus, LPG functions like a refrigerant before it is burned in the combustion chamber. Consequently, there is a change in fuel efficiency. Therefore, this paper presents a new thermodynamic analysis on LPG-fueled vehicles by harvesting cooling power in the fuel line. The total fuel efficiency is calculated by summing the indicated thermal power added by cooling power to the fuel energy supplied. The results show that the A/C system from the fuel line can increase the total fuel efficiency of 3.16%
