Olbrzymi naczyniak jamisty móżdżku u 4-miesięcznego niemowlęcia. Opis przypadku i przegląd piśmiennictwa

Cavernous malformations (CMs) are rare vascular lesions that affect 0.4–0.9% of the population. The diagnosis of CMs is simple in most typical cases although some lesions may present unusual imaging features: localization, signal intensity, or size. Extremely rare giant CMs can mimic neoplastic lesion because of their size. We report a case of giant cerebellar CM that is more than 6 cm in size, diagnosed in 4-month-old boy. We discuss magnetic resonance findings and histopathological features of this lesion.Naczyniaki jamiste to rzadkie zmiany naczyniowe, występujące u 0,4–0,9% populacji. Ich rozpoznanie w większości typowych przypadków jest łatwe, ale niektóre zmiany mogą stwarzać trudności diagnostyczne związane z nietypową lokalizacją, ich intensywnością sygnału lub wielkością. Niezwykle rzadkie gigantyczne naczyniaki jamiste mogą imitować zmiany nowotworowe. Autorzy przedstawiają 4-miesięczne niemowlę, u którego rozpoznano olbrzymi naczyniak jamisty zlokalizowany w móżdżku o wymiarze większym niż 6 cm. Omawiają cechy naczyniaka w badaniu za pomocą rezonansu magnetycznego oraz wynik badania histopatologicznego

Commentary on Bailiffs' Costs Act

Opracowanie zawiera komentarz do ustawy z dnia 28 lutego 2018 r. o kosztach komorniczych (u.k.k. – t.j. Dz.U. z 2021 r., poz. 210 ze zm.), która weszła w życie w dniu 1 stycznia 2019r. Chociaż ma ono charakter naukowy, to nie jest jednocześnie pozbawione uwag praktycznych. Autorzy nie poprzestali na analizie dogmatyczno-prawnej, lecz także dokonali oceny wprowadzonych unormowań i przedstawili wnioski de lege ferenda. Komentarz zawiera omówienie ogólnych zagadnień związanych z celami i funkcjami kosztów komorniczych, ich rodzajami oraz relacją do kosztów postępowania egzekucyjnego. W publikacji przedstawiono poglądy doktryny i orzecznictwa – wyrażone zarówno na gruncie komentowanej ustawy, jak i u.k.s.e. (w zakresie, w jakim zachowały one aktualność, w odniesieniu do nowych unormowań).The study contains a commentary to the Act of 28 February 2018 on bailiffs' costs (u.k.k. – i.e. Journal of Laws of 2021, item 210, as amended), which entered into force on 1 January 2019. Although it is of a scientific nature, it is not without practical remarks. The authors did not stop at the analysis dogmatical and legal, but also assessed the introduced regulations and presented conclusions de lege ferenda. The commentary contains a discussion of general issues related to the objectives and functions of bailiffs' costs, their types and the relation to the costs of enforcement proceedings. In the publication the views of doctrine and jurisprudence were presented – expressed both on the basis of the commented Act and the U.K.S.E. (to the extent that they have remained valid, in relation to the new regulations)

Properties of Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 Ceramics Modified with Fe and Mn

Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (NBT) and Fe- and Mn-modified NBT (0.5 and 1 mol%) ceramics were synthesized by the solid-state reaction method. The crystal structure, dielectric and thermal properties of these ceramics were measured in both unpoled and poled states. Neither the addition of iron/manganese to NBT nor poling changed the average crystal structure of the material; however, changes were observed in the short-range scale. The changes in shapes of the Bragg peaks and in their 2Θ-position and changes in the Raman spectra indicated a temperature-driven structural evolution similar to that in pure NBT. It was found that both substitutions led to a decrease in the depolarization temperature Td and an increase in the piezoelectric coefficient d33. In addition, applying an electric field reactivated and extended the ferroelectric state to higher temperatures (Td increased). These effects could be the result of: crystal structure disturbance; changes in the density of defects; the appearance of (FeTiˈ-), (Mn′Ti-V••O) and (Mn″Tii-V••O )—microdipoles; improved domain reorientation conditions and instability of the local polarization state due to the introduction of Fe and Mn into the NBT; reinforced polarization/domain ordering; and partial transformation of the rhombohedral regions into tetragonal ones by the electric field, which supports a long-range ferroelectric state. The possible occupancy of A- and/or B-sites by Fe and Mn ions is discussed based on ionic radius/valence/electronegativity principles. The doping of Fe/Mn and E-poling offers an effective way to modify the properties of NBT
