AbstractAncient maps reveal that Dutch colonial have covered alun-alun as the moslem city image like those in Jakarta, Surabaya, except in Semarang. Both Indonesian Moslem and colonial city experts cannot explain the phenomena. The alun-alun lama Semarang left its morphologic arthefac. Which layer of urban design should be conserved? To reveal the layer of the development, three dimensional picture by freehand modeling based on visual historical aprroach methode can be done as an early stage. The civilization era are in interaction, but tend to neglect the moslem city image. Further research is needed using a computer drawing, to get a clearly image of moslem city

This paper presents the effect of current forces on the motion of forces on Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) in irregular waves. The objective of this research is to compute the motion of FPSO in irregular waves by time domain simulation including the effect of current forces. A study is made on the slowly varying oscillations of a moored single body system in a current and waves. Linear potential theory is used to describe the fluid motion, and three-dimensional source distribution techniques are applied to obtain the hydrodynamic forces and transfer function of the wave exciting forces. OCIMF (1994) data are used for estimation of the current forces. The non-linear time domain simulations have been carried out in irregular waves. Based on it, slowly varying motion responses are examined including the effect of the current forces. Several environmental conditions, such as the current angle of attack, current velocity, significant wave height and mean wave period are considered, which may significantly affect FPSO motion in surge, sway and yaw moments. It is found that the effect of current forces is quite significant when the current velocity is increased. In this simulation, while the current velocity is increased to 3.0 meter/seconds, the impact on FPSO motion is quite significant, which should be taken into consideration from the point of view of safety, failure of mooring systems, operating responses and the dynamic positioning of the FPSO

Mangroves play an important role in coastal community livelihoods of South Sulawesi. However, due to excessive and unsustainable use, mangroves experience degradation and deforestation in the past two decades. This study aims to detect mangrove extents, densities, and distributions changes during the periods 1997, 2007, and 2018 in Pannikiang Island, Barru Regency. We used three Landsat satellite imageries with acquisition 1997, 2007, and 2018 and implemented the multispectral classification and NDVI transformation methods, and the results were tested by ground truth. The results showed mangrove extents in 1997, 2007, and 2018 were 94.83 ha, 92.07 ha, and 91.64 ha, respectively. During these periods, mangroves decrease by 3.19 ha or an annual average of 0.15 ha. The decrease is caused by the expansion of settlements and aquaculture ponds. In 1997, the mangroves high-density class about 61.74 ha, moderate-density 14.19 ha, and low-density of 18.6 ha. In 2007, the high and low-density classes decreased to 54.53 ha and 12.29 ha, while the moderate-density increase to 25.35 ha. Finally, in 2018, the high-density class continues to decline by 43.36 ha, while for the low and moderate classes increases 15.34 ha and 32.67 ha, respectively, compared to the previous decade

Classification of Normal and Crackles Respiratory Sounds into Healthy and Lung Cancer Groups

Lung cancer is the most common cancer worldwide and the third most common cancer in Malaysia. Due to its high prevalence worldwide and in Malaysia, it is an utmost importance to have the disease detected at an early stage which would result in a higher chance of cure and possibly better survival. The current methods used for lung cancer screening might not be simple, inexpensive and safe and not readily accessible in outpatient clinics. In this paper, we present the classification of normal and crackles sounds acquired from 20 healthy and 23 lung cancer patients, respectively using Artificial Neural Network. Firstly, the sounds signals were decomposed into seven different frequency bands using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) based on two different mother wavelets namely Daubechies 7 (db7) and Haar. Secondly, mean, standard deviation and maximum PSD of the detail coefficients for five frequency bands (D3, D4, D5, D6, and D7) were calculated as features. Fifteen features were used as input to the ANN classifier. The results of classification show that db7 based performed better than Haar with perfect 100% sensitivity, specificity and accuracy for testing and validation stages when using 15 nodes at the hidden layer. While for Haar, only testing stage shows the perfect 100% for sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy when using 10 nodes at the hidden layer
