The Modelling of Roof Installation Projects Using Decision Trees and the AHP Method
In this work, the process of roofing projects’ execution is considered. The proper analysis of this process is important to optimise the behaviour of a project’s participants and to perform risk evaluation. The main result of this work is methodology, which can be used to optimise a project owner’s decisions and potentially can be applied for risk control or integrated into expert systems. This methodology includes the application of a decision tree and AHP (analytic hierarchy process) method to perform the modelling for roof installation project selection. In the proposed approach, a decision tree describes the process with nodes representing the states of a project. The tree includes the decision on whether to sell the project results or not, which requires the estimation of the subjective opinion of the project owner. These subjective values are used in the decision tree leaves. We propose to perform this estimation with the AHP method and describe how to do it in this paper. A particular example was considered. The proposed methodology was applied to that case, and all details of the process and results are provided. Using the proposed methodology, the adapted version of a specific, current situation model of project participants’ behaviours can be formed, allowing one to make the most efficient decisions in the light of the existing constraints. Lithuanian industry personnel value orientation towards innovativeness: Analysis, evaluation and improvement possibilities
The authors of this article established the goal to detect and evaluate the wide possibilities for strengthening the value orientation towards innovativeness in the industrial enterprises. For this purpose exploration of the valuation on the innovativeness as a value was made. The authors of this article performed necessary research, analyses, evaluation and generalization in order to solve this problem. There were methods applied: analysis of information sources, a sociological enquiry of industrial enterprises personnel and correlation analysis. The demand to increase valuation on innovativeness was proved after the investigation. Correlation analysis showed that there is a very weak dependence between evaluated by personnel innovativeness, annual changes and success of activity parameters. Lack of advanced knowledge of management was also established. The way to make a better situation is to use purposeful general politics for innovativeness development in the enterprises, to solve the leadership problems and to equalize the innovativeness level of the separate powerhouses.

Lietuvos pramonės darbuotojų vertybinės orientacijos inovatyvumo atžvilgiu: analizė, vertinimas ir gerinimo galimybės
Santrauka. Straipsnio autorių tikslas – išnagrinėti ir įvertinti platesnes galimybes, kurias galima būtų panaudoti pramonės įmonių darbuotojų vertybinių orientacijų inovatyvumui stiprinti. Tuo tikslu buvo ištirtas inovatyvumo kaip vertybės vertinimas pramonės įmonėse. Tam prireikė taikyti tokius metodus: dokumentinės informacijos šaltinių analizę, pramonės įmonių personalo sociologinę apklausą ir koreliacijos analizę. Tyrimo metu nustatytas akivaizdus poreikis vertinti inovatyvumą kaip vertybę. Koreliacijos analizė parodė, kad daugeliu atvejų egzistuoja silpnas ryšys tarp personalo įvertintų inovatyvumo, metinių pokyčių ir veiklos sėkmingumo parametrų. Buvo nustatytas pažangesnės vadybos trūkumas. Situacijai gerinti siūloma taikyti kryptingesnę inovatyvumo ugdymo įmonėse politiką, išspręsti lyderystės problemas ir labiau išlyginti atskirų įtakos grupių inovatyvumo lygį.

Research of the transferred technology adaptation to the local environment
The main goal of this work is to research how adaptation of technology and local conditions are related to the success of technology transfer, also to make provision of the strategies to increase efficiency of the process. The research data was been obtained by the sociological questioning of the specialists of innovation centres, technology parks, business incubators and consulting centres. The data has been treated using Rating/ Ranking method. It has been found that the average application of transferred technologies is at medium level. In order to introduce new technologies, it was necessary to change local environment and technology at the same level magnitude. This rises a lot of problems to be solved. Correlation analysis has been carried out in order to determine the dependence of technology transfer success rating upon adaptation rating Small correlation dependence between technology transfer success and adaptation to the environment has been established. The increase of the technology adoption, in many cases, has positive influence over the success of the project. In accordance with the research results, there were defined typical approaches to increase technology transfer efficiency. A lot of these approaches concentrate on the solution of the contradictions between influential groups in the enterprise internal, direct and side external environment, trying to reach effective exhaust of the possibilities given by new technology
Technologijų perdavimo sistemos funkcinė vertinė analizė
The main goal of this work is to review application of functional value analysis method for creating and evaluating types of technology transfer system. Definition of the technology transfer functions and expenditures for his implementation is done with importance rating. The system improvement directions can be made due comparing the expenditures necessary to implement functions with importance to the transfer processes. There were found that better results give technology transfer system with specialised organisations consists of: technology spreaders, technology consumers, state government organisations, support enterprises and financial organisations. The activity and co-operation of this specialised make possible development of technology transfer and reduce risk. The support of state government, finance institutions, innovation centres, business incubators and technology parks helps to carry out technology transfer in the most cost effective and productive way. We proposed method of system’s evaluation and checked on four different versions of system.Straipsnyje funkcinės vertinės analizės metodu nagrinėjami technologijų perdavimo sistemos variantai turint tikslą pasirinkti geresnį. Apibrėžtos organizacijų vykdomos technologijų perdavimo funkcijos, reikšmingumas, įvertintos jų vykdymo sąnaudos. Kaip to išdava palygintos įvairios organizacinės technologijų perdavimo sistemos, numatytos jų funkcijų tobulinimo kryptys. Parodyta, kad efektyviausia yra technologijų perdavimo sistema, turinti specializuotas konkrečių funkcijų vykdymo organizacijas
Innovative knowledge: its origin, detachment and usage in production practice
The authors of this article established the goal to provide a research of the innovative knowledge usage situation in the practice, to analyse origin and concept of innovative knowledge, and to foresee the ways how to develop this phenomenon to have more benefits and effectiveness in the future. The authors of the article have carried out a number of studies, collected and analysed relevant information about innovative knowledge. Applied methods include a survey of scientific literature and other information sources, structural system analysis, a sociological inquiry of the industrial enterprises and public administration institutions personnel and experts evaluations. The analysis of the literature sources and inquiry results showed that for forward-looking company or institution it is important to begin improvement from the understanding of the key features and proper logical and practical its development. Such an essential feature would be the activities associated with the new, innovative, engineering, economic-social knowledge and its management. We have no doubt that business is impossible without a systematic, continu-ous creativity development, and creativity is impossible without innovative knowledge understanding and management.

Inovatyvios žinios: jų kilmė, išskyrimas ir naudojimas gamybinėje veikloje
Santrauka. Šio straipsnio autoriai numatė tikslą – pateikti inovatyvių žinių kilmės ir sampratos analizę bei pamėginti plėtoti šį fenomeną siekiant gauti daugiau naudos ir efektyvumo ateityje. Straipsnio autoriai atliko keletą tyrimų, kurių metu buvo renkama ir analizuojama svarbi informacija apie inovatyvias žinias. Taikyti metodai – mokslinės literatūros ir kitų informacinių šaltinių tyrimas, struktūrinė sisteminė analizė, pramonės įmonių ir viešojo administravimo įstaigų personalo sociologinis tyrimas ir ekspertinis vertinimas. Iš literatūros šaltinių ir tyrimo rezultatų matyti, kad inovatyvių žinių srityje tobulinimą svarbu pradėti nuo savo įmonės gamybinės veiklos savybių supratimo ir tinkamo loginio bei praktinio jų plėtojimo. Įmonės veikla visada susijusi su inovatyviomis inžinerijos, ekonominio-socialinio pobūdžio žiniomis ir jų valdymu. Neabejojame, kad verslas neįmanomas be sistemingo, nuolatinio kūrybiškumo plėtojimo, o kūrybiškumas neįmanomas be inovatyvių žinių supratimo ir valdymo.

The motivation for engineering change in the industrial company
The authors of this article established the goal to investigate parameters related to the staff motivation for engineering change in the industrial company as case study and to predict the ways of improving the performance of the company. Employees of the company can be more motivated to generate innovative ideas and to implement them. That can be related to the better engineering change situation. For this reason, in this work, we have explored the environment and opportunities to improve the engineering performance of the company in the context of engineering change. The authors of the paper have conducted several studies, collected and analysed important information. Methods used – review of scientific literature and other sources of information, case study, structural systematic analysis, and sociological survey of industrial company personnel based on hypothesis. The object of the research was motives for engineering change in the industrial company. Motivated organizational behaviour actions, that focus on creation and realization of innovative ideas for engineering change, can be based on creation of an innovation-friendly environment. As our research has shown, it is important to consider parameters related to the staff motivation, such as, satisfaction with the company’s declared policy, satisfaction with the management’s behaviour in encouraging employees, freedom of employees to communicate and take creative initiative

Inovacijos viešojo administravimo institucijose
Atliktas viešojo administravimo institucijų darbuotojų požiūrio į inovacijas palyginamasis tyrimas, kurio tikslas – nustatyti, kaip viešojo administravimo institucijų ir pramonės įmonių darbuotojai suvokia inovacijas, kokios yra prielaidos inovacijoms kurti ir panaudoti šiose organizacijose, kad bendradarbiaujant būtų pasiektas didesnis Lietuvos ūkio konkurencingumas ir užtikrinta visuomenės gerovė. Atlikus sociologinį tyrimą nustatyta, kad inovacijų kaip vertybės suvokimas yra nepakankamas. Nemažai darbuotojų tiksliai nežino, ką reiškia šis terminas. Geriau inovacijas suvokia viešojo administravimo institucijų darbuotojai, prasčiau – pramonės įmonių darbuotojai. Dažniausiai inovacijoms darbuotojai priskiria tiktai naujoves neatsižvelgdami, kad iš tikrųjų tai yra atnaujinimo procesas. Siekiant visuomenės tobulėjimo, būtina gerinti viešojo administravimo institucijų ir pramonės įmonių darbuotojų inovacijų kaip vertybės suvokimą
