    The background of this research is the circulation of the minutes of the formation of the Nagari Pangkalan customary density management on August 23, 2020 for the period from 2020 to 2025, which has become a polemic with many questions about this. The first is the position of chairman of the Nagari Customary Density which is held by Jhoni Himbiar Naim Dt Sibijayo. In the internal body of the Dt Sibijayo tribe there are divisions, Dt Sibijayo is recognized by the tribal nephews as two people. That means there is another Dt Sibijayo besides Jhoni Himbiar. Which Niniak mamak is recognized? Of course this is the question in this research. Niniak Mamak is a person who is appointed as a traditional commander by a tribe/tribe in a Nagari. On the other hand, based on West Sumatra Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2018 concerning Nagari in article 6 states that in every Nagari a Nagari Customary Density is formed as the highest deliberation institution in the administration of Nagari Government . This research method is the type of this research is a sociological legal research . The results of this study are the Completion of Customary Law Recognition of Niniak Mamak as a member of the Nagari Adat Density, the base of the sub-district of Pangkalan Koto Baru, the district of fifty cities based on the Regional Regulation of the Province of West Sumatra Number 7 of 2018 concerning Nagari in practice is not implemented, due to the fact that the Nagari Pangkalan Customary Court has not been established. , two niniak mamak stated that they were legitimate niniak mamak from the clan, the lack of understanding of Niniak Mamak Nagari about Adat . Furthermore, efforts to overcome it are in the Settlement of Customary Law Recognition of Niniak Mamak as a member of the Nagari Customary Density, the base of the sub-district of the new Koto Baru district, fifty cities based on the regional regulation of the Province of West Sumatra Number 7 of 2018 concerning Nagari . The Nagari Adat Density of Pangkalan should have formed the Nagari Customary Court, the position of niniak mamak should not be up for grabs because this is the burden borne by the niniak mamak in West Sumatra is very large, traditional leader

    Improving the quality of written feedback using written feedback

    Background: Educational feedback is amongst the most powerful of all learning interventions. Research questions: (1) Can we measure the quality of written educational feedback with acceptable metrics? (2) Based on such a measure, does a quality improvement (QI) intervention improve the quality of feedback? Study design: We developed a QI instrument to measure the quality of written feedback and applied it to written feedback provided to medical students following workplace assessments. We evaluated the measurement characteristics of the QI score using generalisability theory. In an uncontrolled intervention, QI profiles were fed back to GP tutors and pre and post intervention scores compared. Study results: A single assessor scoring 6 feedback summaries can discriminate between practices with a reliability of 0.82.The quality of feedback rose for two years after the introduction of the QI instrument and stabilised in the third year. The estimated annual cost to provide this feedback is ÂŁ12 per practice. Interpretation and recommendations: It is relatively straightforward and inexpensive to measure the quality of written feedback with good reliability. The QI process appears to improve the quality of written feedback. We recommend routine use of a QI process to improve the quality of educational feedback

    IL-4Rα Blockade by Dupilumab Decreases Staphylococcus aureus Colonization and Increases Microbial Diversity in Atopic Dermatitis.

    Dupilumab is a fully human antibody to interleukin-4 receptor α that improves the signs and symptoms of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD). To determine the effects of dupilumab on Staphylococcus aureus colonization and microbial diversity on the skin, bacterial DNA was analyzed from swabs collected from lesional and nonlesional skin in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 54 patients with moderate to severe AD randomized (1:1) and treated with either dupilumab (200 mg weekly) or placebo for 16 weeks. Microbial diversity and relative abundance of Staphylococcus were assessed by DNA sequencing of 16S ribosomal RNA, and absolute S. aureus abundance was measured by quantitative PCR. Before treatment, lesional skin had lower microbial diversity and higher overall abundance of S. aureus than nonlesional skin. During dupilumab treatment, microbial diversity increased and the abundance of S. aureus decreased. Pronounced changes were seen in nonlesional and lesional skin. Decreased S. aureus abundance during dupilumab treatment correlated with clinical improvement of AD and biomarkers of type 2 immunity. We conclude that clinical improvement of AD that is mediated by interleukin-4 receptor α inhibition and the subsequent suppression of type 2 inflammation is correlated with increased microbial diversity and reduced abundance of S. aureus

    Protein expression differs between neural progenitor cells from the adult rat brain subventricular zone and olfactory bulb

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Neural progenitor cells can be isolated from various regions of the adult mammalian brain, including the forebrain structures of the subventricular zone and the olfactory bulb. Currently it is unknown whether functional differences in these progenitor cell populations can already be found on the molecular level. Therefore, we compared protein expression profiles between progenitor cells isolated from the subventricular zone and the olfactory bulb using a proteomic approach based on two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry. The subventricular zone and the olfactory bulb are connected by the Rostral Migratory Stream (RMS), in which glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP)-positive cells guide neuroblasts. Recent literature suggested that these GFAP-positive cells possess neurogenic potential themselves. In the current study, we therefore compared the cultured neurospheres for the fraction of GFAP-positive cells and their morphology of over a prolonged period of time.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>We found significant differences in the protein expression patterns between subventricular zone and olfactory bulb neural progenitor cells. Of the differentially expressed protein spots, 105 were exclusively expressed in the subventricular zone, 23 showed a lower expression and 51 a higher expression in the olfactory bulb. The proteomic data showed that more proteins are differentially expressed in olfactory bulb progenitors with regard to proteins involved in differentiation and microenvironmental integration, as compared to the subventricular zone progenitors. Compared to 94% of all progenitors of the subventricular zone expressed GFAP, nearly none in the olfactory bulb cultures expressed GFAP. Both GFAP-positive subpopulations differed also in morphology, with the olfactory bulb cells showing more branching. No differences in growth characteristics such as doubling time, and passage lengths could be found over 26 consecutive passages in the two cultures.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>In this study, we describe differences in protein expression of neural progenitor populations isolated from two forebrain regions, the subventricular zone and the olfactory bulb. These subpopulations can be characterized by differential expression of marker proteins. We isolated fractions of progenitor cells with GFAP expression from both regions, but the GFAP-positive cells differed in number and morphology. Whereas in vitro growth characteristics of neural progenitors are preserved in both regions, our proteomic and immunohistochemical data suggest that progenitor cells from the two regions differ in morphology and functionality, but not in their proliferative capacity.</p

The microstructures of the primary phase for the shear-cast samples show rosette or ellipsoidal morphologies. Heat transfer of contacting melt with the inclined tube surface and shear stress exerted on the layers of the melt as result of gravitational force are crucial parameters for the microstructural evolution. Compared to those produced by conventional casting, shear-cast samples have a much improved tensile strength and ductility due to globular microstructure

    Pathologies in Asymptotically Lifshitz Spacetimes

    There has been significant interest in the last several years in studying possible gravitational duals, known as Lifshitz spacetimes, to anisotropically scaling field theories by adding matter to distort the asymptotics of an AdS spacetime. We point out that putative ground state for the most heavily studied example of such a spacetime, that with a flat spatial section, suffers from a naked singularity and further point out this singularity is not resolvable by any known stringy effect. We review the reasons one might worry that asymptotically Lifshitz spacetimes are unstable and employ the initial data problem to study the stability of such systems. Rather surprisingly this question, and even the initial value problem itself, for these spacetimes turns out to generically not be well-posed. A generic normalizable state will evolve in such a way to violate Lifshitz asymptotics in finite time. Conversely, enforcing the desired asymptotics at all times puts strong restrictions not just on the metric and fields in the asymptotic region but in the deep interior as well.     Compliance of a cobalt chromium coronary stent alloy – the COVIS trial

    BACKGROUND: Cobalt chromium coronary stents are increasingly being used in percutaneous coronary interventions. There are, however, no reliable data about the characteristics of unfolding and visibility of this stent alloy in vivo. The aim of this study is to compare cobalt chromium coronary stents with conventional stainless steel stents using intracoronary ultrasound. METHODS: Twenty de novo native coronary stenoses ≀ 20 mm in length (target vessel reference diameter ≄ 2.5 and ≀ 4.0 mm) received under sequential intracoronary ultrasound either a cobalt chromium stent (Multi-Link Vision(Âź); n = 10) or a stainless steel stent (Multi-Link Zeta(Âź); n = 10). RESULTS: For optimal unfolding, the cobalt chromium stent requires a higher balloon deployment pressure (13.90 ± 2.03 atm) than the stainless steel stent (11.50 ± 2.12 atm). Furthermore, the achieved target vessel diameter of the cobalt chromium stent (Visibility-Index QCA/IVUS Multi-Link Vision(Âź)1.13 / Multi-Link Zeta(Âź )1.04) is more easily overrated by Quantitative Coronary Analysis. CONCLUSION: These data indicate that stent material-specific recommendations for optimal implantation pressure and different stent material with an equal design should both be considered in interpreting QCA-analysis

    Black Holes in Quasi-topological Gravity

    We construct a new gravitational action which includes cubic curvature interactions and which provides a useful toy model for the holographic study of a three parameter family of four- and higher-dimensional CFT's. We also investigate the black hole solutions of this new gravity theory. Further we examine the equations of motion of quasi-topological gravity.
