Facial Landmark Detection Using Affine Graph Matching and a Genetic Search Algorithm
This paper proposes a method that finds landmark points on the face, which is one of the main tasks in a face recognition system. Salient facial landmark detection is important because it enables face normalization and leads to size and orientation invariant face recognition. The presented approach is based on an affine graph matching technique and uses a genetic algorithm to perform the search. The feasibility of our methodology for detection tasks related to face landmark point detection has been deployed using the ORL face image database. Experiments show satisfactory results under relatively wide conditions. The GA searching approach is essential because it effectively searches the solution space.
Fun-Game Application to create Interactive and Attracting Museum using Mobile Phone and QR Code Tags
Museum have a very important role to give
understanding and knowledge of human historical and
civilazation. On museum people can learn the development of
human civilization, art, history, and technology. Unfortunately
museums are often still perceived as uninteresting and boring
place to go. This research try to developt an interactive
information and fun-game on the museum using mobile phone
application and QR code technology. The fun-game will
delivered to visitor by give them a riddle question and also
using silhoutte guess game about the artefact in the museum.
The visitor will answer the question by scan the QR code tags
that attach on the museum artefact
Implementing QR Code to Create Indonesia Museum Interactive Information Application
The tourism sector is one of the revenue resources that can be explored without any depletion. The
tourism sector can also absorb a lot of manpower. One of the tourism potential is the historical heritage
such as the ancient culture, religious relics, and the historical war. Currently, there is still lacking
exploration from museum as one of tourism potential especially in Indonesia. People still think museum
as a gloomy, historical, and boring place. In this research, we try to build a prototype of interactive
museum information that made using mobile device application and QR code. The QR code tag will be
place on museum artefact and rooms in the museum to give interaction information to the museum
visitor. By scan the QR code tag, museum visitor will provided with more information about the artefact,
rooms, etc. The museum information will provided using text, image, sound, and video
Perancangan Dan Pembuatan Adapter Penghubung Keyboard IBM PS/2 Dengan Port USB Personal Computer
Universal Serial Bus (USB) as a new interface especially on Personal Computer (PC) has become a standard for interfacing many devices to PC such as printer, scanner, mouse, webcam, etc. In this paper, a device that can be recognized by USB host and communicate through USB port correctly was developed. It has been implemented by making an adapter therefore IBM PS/2 keyboard could be recognized and operated in a USB environment. The device used a PDIUSBD12 USB interface IC which handle USB protocol and an AT89C2051 microcontroller which handle all incoming or outgoing data from and to PDIUSBD12 or keyboard. The device has been tested and proven capable of handling enumeration process and transfer data from keyboard to PC via a USB port. Although the device didn\u27t support all functions of the keys, but the main keys worked normally on pressing one key or even combination keys.

Museum Interactive Information Broadcasting Using Indoor Positioning System and Bluetooth Low Energy: a Pilot Project on Trowulan Museum Indonesia
The tourism sector become a promising country income. This is because its nature which is not easily run out if managed properly. This sector can be a great support especially for developing countries such as Indonesia, because usually developing countries income only rely on natural and human resources income. Museums are one of the tourism sectors that have not been explored properly. Museums in Indonesia are still few that using the latest technology such as smartphone application, wifi, bluetooth, RFID. So, that it makes the museum a less attractive place to visit, especially for young generation. This research tries to create an interactive broadcasting museum information by utilizing applications on smartphones, indoor positioning systems, and bluetooth low energy beacons to provide information to museum visitors about artifacts around museum visitor location. As a pilot project a testing was conducted at the Trowulan Museum, Mojokerto, East Java, Indonesia, which is a museum that exhibits the relics of the Majapahit kingdom. Water Volume Detection System in Galon using Arduino
Internet of things has a concept that aims to expand
the benefits connected in a continuous internet connection on an
ongoing basis. The method used by Internet of Things is
automatic control without distance. Implementation currently
gallon control of water is still done by looking at the state of
gallons and then gallons turn when the water in the gallon is
already empty. With the internet of things can be implemented a
water volume detector that can monitor the state of the gallon
from a distance through a smartphone. To make the manufacture
of water volume detection required tools such as water flow
sensors, microcontroller or other tools that are then connected to
the internet.
For interaction relationship of water flow sensor,
microcontroller, or other tool of help through internet used
Android application. This Android application is used to facilitate
users to access the internet anywhere. This Android application is
made by using Android studio and microcontroller made with
Arduino programming using C language. Microcontroller used is
WeMos D1 R2 which has been contained ESP8266 in it.
The result of this water volume detection development is the
microcontroller can transmit sensor data to the Ubidots server so
that the application can retrieve sensor data on the Ubidots
server. Users can view the gallon state in real time and are also
given a notification when the gallon water volume is below alert
level. Users can also view reports of gallons per month
Indonesian Stock Prediction using Support Vector Machine (SVM)
This project is part of developing software to provide predictive information technology-based services artificial intelligence (Machine Intelligence) or Machine Learning that will be utilized in the money market community. The prediction method used in this early stages uses the combination of Gaussian Mixture Model and Support Vector Machine with Python programming. The system predicts the price of Astra International (stock code: ASII.JK) stock data. The data used was taken during 17 yr period of January 2000 until September 2017. Some data was used for training/modeling (80 % of data) and the remainder (20 %) was used for testing. An integrated model comprising Gaussian Mixture Model and Support Vector Machine system has been tested to predict stock market of ASII.JK for l d in advance. This model has been compared with the Market Cummulative Return. From the results, it is depicts that the Gaussian Mixture Model-Support Vector Machine based stock predicted model, offers significant improvement over the compared models resulting sharpe ratio of 3.22
Reduksi Noise Akustik Secara Aktif Dengan Metode Filtered-X Least Mean Square
The paper describes an implementation of an active noice canceller by using the algorithm of Filtered-X Least Mean Square (Filtered-X LMS). The system was implemented on a digital signal processor starter kit of TMS 320C50. The system was equipped with 2 speakers as sound source and noise source and microphones as sound sensors. The processor controlled the noise by generating an anti-noise sound trying to cancelled the noise so that the total noise would be reduced. The experimental results shows the system could reduce noise with the level of 20 dBV
Aplikasi Embedded Internet Pada Vending Machine Menggunakan Microprocessor Rabbit RCM3200
The paper describes development of an embedded vending machine equipped with an Internet connection. The machine could be monitored and controlled remotely via Internet to perform temperature montoring and selling transaction monitoring. This embedded vending machine system consist of two parts, which are an vending machine connected to Rabbitcore module and an administrator/main computer. The software deployed at Rabbitcore module was written in Dynamic C. The administrator computer was running an Apache Web Server, PHP and MySQL database server. The experiment was conducted by connecting the system to the local area network which is connected to the Internet Administrator computer could monitor the up to date information like temperature and selling transaction data.
