Ce mémoire en création littéraire comporte deux parties : un recueil de nouvelles, qui s'intitule Les bonnes filles plantent des fleurs au printemps, et un dossier d'accompagnement, que j'ai titré La seconde chance de l’écriture. Composée de douze nouvelles, la partie création met en place l'univers intime de femmes à différents épisodes de leur vie. Dans des périodes charnières marquées par la perte ou la peur de la perte (décès, deuils amoureux, maladie, conscience du vieillissement, nostalgie du passé), les protagonistes s'adonnent à la réflexion, à l'introspection. La presque totalité des textes sont écrits à la première personne, ce qui favorise une proximité, de sorte qu'on peut suivre les pensées, les impressions et les sentiments des narratrices, qui tentent d'exercer un certain contrôle sur ce qui leur échappe et cherchent un apaisement. Dans leur désarroi, elles remettent en question leurs convictions naïves sur le monde et sur les êtres qui les entourent, elles constatent que l'ordre des choses établies s'effondre, elles doivent abandonner leurs illusions et leur désir de perfection. Le style dépouillé, le langage mimant l'oralité et la brièveté de ces récits concentrés sur la trajectoire intérieure des personnages ancrent ces nouvelles dans une écriture de l'intime basée sur des rapports interpersonnels familiaux et sentimentaux problématiques. Le ton direct, souvent impudique, ainsi que l'importance d'un quotidien où il n'advient rien d'important, laisse davantage place à la confession qu'à l'intrigue. Ces textes appartiennent à ce qu'on appelle la nouvelle-instant. Le dossier d'accompagnement explore différents aspects d'un processus d'écriture basé sur l'expérience de la dépression. À partir de témoignages d'écrivaines ayant traversé des périodes difficiles, qui leur ont souvent été fatales (Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath), cet essai amorce une réflexion sur l'incidence des états dépressifs sur l'écriture. Souvent nécessaire à l'éveil de la création, la dépression apporte une lucidité que l'individu n'avait pas auparavant, laissant émerger une impudeur qui tient de la « franchise enfantine », selon le terme de Virginia Woolf. Quand, une fois rétabli, l'écrivain recommencera à écrire, il fera face à un dédoublement de la voix créatrice, celle de l'adulte et celle de l'enfant sans « surmoi ». La voix narrative surgira de la tension entre ces deux voix, qui doivent coexister afin que le texte trouve sa forme. L'écrivain est un funambule qui marche sur un fil tendu. Tout en reconnaissant le besoin de porter un regard distancié sur ce qu'il a vécu, il ne doit pas céder à l'autocensure. Le regard d'autrui et la peur d'être jugé l'obligent à livrer un combat constant, sans quoi sa pensée, dans ce qu'elle a de plus authentique, pourrait ne pas se déployer. Type I interferon causes thrombotic microangiopathy by a dose-dependent toxic effect on the microvasculature

Many drugs have been reported to cause thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), yet evidence supporting a direct association is often weak. In particular, TMA has been reported in association with recombinant type I interferon (IFN) therapies, with recent concern regarding the use of IFN in multiple sclerosis patients. However, a causal association has yet to be demonstrated. Here, we adopt a combined clinical and experimental approach to provide evidence of such an association between type I IFN and TMA. We show that the clinical phenotype of cases referred to a national center is uniformly consistent with a direct dose-dependent drug-induced TMA. We then show that dose-dependent microvascular disease is seen in a transgenic mouse model of IFN toxicity. This includes specific microvascular pathological changes seen in patient biopsies and is dependent on transcriptional activation of the IFN response through the type I interferon α/β receptor (IFNAR). Together our clinical and experimental findings provide evidence of a causal link between type I IFN and TMA. As such, recombinant type I IFN therapies should be stopped at the earliest stage in patients who develop this complication, with implications for risk mitigation

A Comparison between Chocolate Milk and a Raw Milk Honey Solution’s Influence on Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness

This investigation sought to examine the effect that a chocolate milk solution (CMS) and a raw milk solution (RMS) had on lower extremity induced delayed onset of muscle soreness (DOMS). Twenty trained male participants completed a set of questionnaires, prior to completing a lower extremity DOMS protocol, to determine the level of discomfort and functional limitations. Once the DOMS protocol was completed, participants were randomly assigned to either the CM or RM group. Once assigned, participants ingested 240 mL of the respective solution and completed the same set of questionnaires immediately post, 24-, 48- and 72-h post DOMS protocol. Additionally, for 10 days post-ingestion participants were contacted to learn if any negative effects were experienced as a result of ingesting either solution. Both groups reported an increase in lower extremity discomfort at each data collection interval post-DOMS protocol (post, 24-, 48- and 72-h). Participants assigned to the RM group reported high discomfort post and a relative decline in discomfort from immediately post-DOMS protocol to 72-h post. The RMS group reported substantially less discomfort at 72-h when compared to the CMS group. Ingestion of a raw milk solution immediately post strength exercise can substantially reduce the level of self-reported discomfort associated with DOMS

Problems of operation of electric pumping sectional type units on kimberlite mines of ALROSA and the ways of their solution

Актуальность. Российская Федерация является одним из мировых лидеров по добыче алмазов. В настоящее время преобладающая часть (порядка 95 %) всех российских алмазов добывается на рудных (кимберлитовых) и россыпных месторождениях, расположенных на территории Якутии. Практика показывает, что подземная разработка кимберлитовых месторождений на территории Западной Якутии сопряжена с обильным поступлением шахтной воды в горные выработки. Без применения достаточного количества насосного оборудования проникающие в горные выработки шахтные воды делают процесс добычи алмазосодержащих руд более сложным и в первую очередь небезопасным для рабочего персонала. В настоящее время с целью борьбы с шахтными водопритоками на кимберлитовых рудниках используются электронасосные агрегаты секционного типа. Так как шахтный водоотлив является неотъемлемым технологическим процессом при добыче алмазосодержащего сырья, повышение надежности относящегося к нему оборудования является актуальной научно-практической задачей. Объекты: электронасосные агрегаты секционного типа кимберлитовых рудников «Мир», «Удачный», «Интернациональный» и «Айхал». Цель: изучение влияния различных производственных факторов, главным образом гидрогеологических условий, на показатели долговечности насосного оборудования водоотливных хозяйств кимберлитовых рудников АК «АЛРОСА». Методы. Для достижения поставленной цели использовался комплексный подход, включающий: анализ физико-химического состава шахтных вод, анализ значительного практического материала по работе насосного оборудования, а также ранее опубликованных работ по тематике исследования, натурные исследования электронасосных агрегатов секционного типа кимберлитовых рудников АК «АЛРОСА». Результаты. По результатам проведенных научных исследований были предложены рекомендации по повышению надежности насосного оборудования водоотливных установок кимберлитовых рудников, находящихся в ведении компании «АЛРОСА».The relevance. Russian Federation is one of the world's leaders in diamond industry. Today, the predominant part (about 95 %) of all Russian diamonds is mined on ore (kimberlite) and alluvial deposits, which are located on the territory of Yakutia. Practice shows that underground mining of kimberlite fields in Western Yakutia is associated with the abundant water flow to mine workings. Without application of sufficient number of pumping equipment, water penetrating to mine workings makes diamond extraction more difficult and un+ safe for people. Today, for dealing with mine water inflows the electric pump sectional type unit are used on kimberlite mines. As mine drainage is an essential process in diamond extraction, improving the reliability of the related equipment is the relavant scientific and practical task. Objects: electric pumping sectional type units of kimberlite mines «Mir», «Udachny», «Internatsionalny» and «Aykhal». The main aim of the research is to study the influence of different production factors, mainly hydrogeological conditions, on durability of pumping equipment of kimberlite mines drainage systems of «ALROSA» JSC. Methods. To achieve this aim the author has used a comprehensive approach including: analysis of the physico-chemical composition of mine waters, analysis of significant practical material by these pumping equipment work and previously published articles on the subject of research, experimental researches of kimberlite mines electric pump units of «ALROSA» JSC. Results. According to the results of the researches, the author proposed the recommendations for improving reliability of a pumping equipment of kimberlite mines drainage units, which are administered by «ALROSA» JSC
