Leontief Model Analysis with Fuzzy Parameters by Basic Matrixes Method
The basic matrixes method is suggested for the Leontief model analysis (LM) with some of its
components indistinctly given. LM can be construed as a forecast task of product’s expenses-output on the basis
of the known statistic information at indistinctly given several elements’ meanings of technological matrix,
restriction vector and variables’ limits. Elements of technological matrix, right parts of restriction vector LM can
occur as functions of some arguments. In this case the task’s dynamic analog occurs. LM essential complication
lies in inclusion of variables restriction and criterion function in it
Regular accelerating Universe without dark energy
Homogeneous isotropic cosmological models with two torsion functions filled
with scalar fields and usual gravitating matter are built and investigated in
the framework of the Poincar\'e gauge theory of gravity. It is shown that by
certain restrictions on indefinite parameters of gravitational Lagrangian the
cosmological equations at asymptotics contain an effective cosmological
constant that can explain observable acceleration of cosmological expansion.
The behavior of inflationary cosmological solutions at extremely high energy
densities is analyzed, regular bouncing solutions are obtained. The role of the
space-time torsion provoking the acceleration of cosmological expansion is
discussed.Comment: 15 pages, 16 figures, iopart class file, some additions mad
Flux control of cytochrome c oxidase in human skeletal muscle
In the present work, by titrating cytochrome c oxidase (COX) with the specific inhibitor KCN, the flux control coefficient and the metabolic reserve capacity of COX have been determined in human saponin-permeabilized muscle fibers. In the presence of the substrates glutamate and malate, a 2.3 ± 0.2-fold excess capacity of COX was observed in ADP-stimulated human skeletal muscle fibers. This value was found to be dependent on the mitochondrial substrate supply. In the combined presence of glutamate, malate, and succinate, which supported an approximately 1.4-fold higher rate of respiration, only a 1.4 ± 0.2-fold excess capacity of COX was determined. In agreement with these findings, the flux control of COX increased, in the presence of the three substrates, from 0.27 ± 0.03 to 0.36 ± 0.08. These results indicate a tight in vivo control of respiration by COX in human skeletal muscle. This tight control may have significant implications for mitochondrial myopathies. In support of this conclusion, the analysis of skeletal muscle fibers from two patients with chronic progressive external ophthalmoplegia, which carried deletions in 11 and 49% of their mitochondrial DNA, revealed a substantially lowered reserve capacity and increased flux control coefficient of COX, indicating severe rate limitations of oxidative phosphorylation by this enzyme

Design and analysis of bent functions using -subspaces
In this article, we provide the first systematic analysis of bent functions
on in the Maiorana-McFarland class
regarding the origin and cardinality of their -subspaces, i.e.,
vector subspaces on which the second-order derivatives of vanish. By
imposing restrictions on permutations of , we specify
the conditions, such that Maiorana-McFarland bent functions admit a unique -subspace of dimension . On the
other hand, we show that permutations with linear structures give rise to
Maiorana-McFarland bent functions that do not have this property. In this way,
we contribute to the classification of Maiorana-McFarland bent functions, since
the number of -subspaces is invariant under equivalence.
Additionally, we give several generic methods of specifying permutations
so that admits a unique -subspace. Most
notably, using the knowledge about -subspaces, we show that using
the bent 4-concatenation of four suitably chosen Maiorana-McFarland bent
functions, one can in a generic manner generate bent functions on
outside the completed Maiorana-McFarland class
for any even . Remarkably, with our construction
methods it is possible to obtain inequivalent bent functions on
not stemming from two primary classes, the partial spread
class and . In this way, we contribute to a better
understanding of the origin of bent functions in eight variables, since only a
small fraction, of which size is about , stems from and
, whereas the total number of bent functions on
is approximately
