ON NEW GENERALIZED FRACTIONAL MIDPOINT-TYPE INEQUALITIES FOR CO-ORDINATED CONVEX AND CO-ORDINATED CONCAVE FUNCTIONS
In this paper, we firstly obtain a new generalized identity for twice partially differentiable functions Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals. Then, using this equality, we obtain some midpoint-type inequalities for co-ordinated convex and co-ordinated concave functions. We also show that our result generalizes the give several inequalities obtained in earlier works
POST-QUANTUM HERMITE-JENSEN-MERCER INEQUALITIES
The Jensen-Mercer inequality, which is well known in the literature, has an important place in mathematics and related disciplines. In this work, we obtain the Hermite-Jensen-Mercer inequality for post-quantum integrals by utilizing Jensen-Mercer inequalities. Then we investigate the connections between our results and those in earlier works. Moreover, we give some examples to illustrate our main results. This is the first paper about Hermite-Jensen-Mercer inequalities for post-quantum integrals
Examining the Mediating Role of the Fear of COVID-19 in the Relationship Between Anxiety and Burnout Levels Among Teachers in Turkey
The COVID-19 pandemic stands as one of the most significant challenges confronting education and training systems worldwide. Since the early stages of the pandemic, teachers have experienced elevated levels of stress accompanied by symptoms of anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances, particularly due to the demands of distance learning. Although there are studies on this subject, more evidence is needed to explore the role of the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkish teachers’ anxiety and burnout. Consequently, the present study aimed to examine the mediating role of the fear of COVID-19 in the relationship between the anxiety experienced by teachers and the level of burnout in studies conducted on teachers during the pandemic process. A total of 262 (57.8% female) teachers from Turkey completed a questionnaire comprising psychometric instruments of the aforementioned variables. The path analysis indicated that fear of COVID-19 mediated the association between anxiety and personal success sub-dimension of burnout, but not emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. The findings of the present study indicate that anxious feelings may exacerbate burnout among teachers in Turkey and that the fear of COVID-19 may play a role on that aforementioned relationship. Consequently, health professionals and clinicians that aim to develop intervention and treatment strategies for Turkish teachers’ anxiety and burnout levels should take the fear of COVID-19 into consideration. EFFECTS OF RESTAURANT COMPLAINTS ON COMPLAINT BEHAVIORS IN HOTELS: CASE OF AFYONKARAHİSAR PROVINCE
The aim of this study is to determine the effects of complaints on customer complaint behaviors (CCB) concurrently with evaluating the restaurant complaints of guests who are staying in thermal hotels that operating in Afyonkarahisar province. Required data gathered from 396 thermal hotel guests by using questionnaire method. In data analyzing, descriptive statistic techniques and discriminant analyses was used. As a result of the data analysis, it's determined that guests mostly complain about restaurant service atmosphere, and much more voice responses taken comparing to other customer complaint behaviors, also customer complaints have some important effects on CCB and CCB's sub dimensions named as voice responses, private responses, third-party responses. At last, it's found that participants' views about complaints and complaint behaviors are statistically similar in terms of sex, occupation and education level, on the other hand their views are statistically different (meaningful) in terms of marital status and age groups
Some Non-Destructive Testing Methods: A Comparative Complitation Work
Bu çalışmada, materyallerin kusur analizini gerçekleştirerek güvenli materyal kullanımı sağlayan tahribatsız test yöntemleri incelenmektedir.
Tahribatsız test işleminde kullanılacak yöntemin, çalışma şartları açısından test edilecek materyal üzerinde uygulanabilir olması gerekmektedir.
Örneğin girdap akımları yöntemi, çalışma şartları gereği ferromanyetik metalleri test edemezken, ferro olmayan metalleri test
edebilmektedir.
In this study, nondestructive testing methods, which sustain safe material usage are analyzed by doing defect analysis of material. Method
that is used in nondestructive testing process, need to be applicable on testing material in terms of working conditions. For instance; eddy
currents method can test nonferrous metals while it cannot test ferromagnetic metals because of working conditions. Considering these conditions,
defective material parts are identified by examining chosen testing method and material in regular intervals. Thanks to this way,
major financial losses are avoided by sustainig safe material usage. Some parts of nondestructive testing methods are widely used in industry
with regard to producing dependable results. In this context, magnetic flux leakage, acoustik emission, eddy currents, and radiography
methods are analyzed in this study. Methods’ process principle, works that have done in literature, performed experiments are analyzed
and explained. Methods are classified by regarding comperatively selected criteria. With this study, a compilation, having broad
content is presented
Design Manufacture and Performance Test of a Reciprocating Refrigeration Compressor
The first generation of refrigeration compressors is reciprocating type compressors, the second generation is scroll type, and the third generation is screw type compressors that are available on the market. Although the need of semi-hermetic refrigeration compressor in Turkey market is 15000 per year, there is no any domestic manufacturer of semi-hermetic refrigeration compressor, and consequently Turkey imports all of the refrigeration compressors from abroad market. In this study, the performance and the manufacturing processes of the semi-hermetic refrigeration compressor that is designed and manufactured with a hundred percent of domestic opportunities are investigated. The performance tests of the compressor are done, the catalogue of the compressor is prepared and it is 12 % more efficient in comparison with equivalent European one
Stereotactic body radioablation therapy as an immediate and early term antiarrhythmic palliative therapeutic choice in patients with refractory ventricular tachycardia
Background: Stereotactic body radioablation therapy (SBRT) has recently been introduced with the ability to provide ablative energy noninvasively to arrhythmogenic substrate while reducing damage to normal cardiac tissue nearby and minimizing patients’ procedural risk. There is still debate regarding whether SBRT has a predominant effect in the early or late period after the procedure. We sought to assess the time course of SBRT’s efficacy as well as the value of using a blanking period following a SBRT session. Methods: Eight patients (mean age 58 ± 14 years) underwent eight SBRT sessions for refractory ventricular tachycardia (VT). SBRT was given using a linear accelerator device with a total dose of 25 Gy to the targeted area. Results: During a median follow-up of 8 months, all patients demonstrated VT recurrences; however, implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) and anti-tachycardia pacing therapies were significantly reduced with SBRT (8.46 to 0.83/per month, p = 0.047; 18.50 to 3.29/per month, p = 0.036, respectively). While analyzing the temporal SBRT outcomes, the 2 weeks to 3 months period demonstrated the most favorable outcomes. After 6 months, one patient was ICD therapy-free and the remaining patients demonstrated VT episodes. Conclusions: Our findings showed that the SBRT was associated with a marked reduction in the burden of VT and ICD interventions especially during first 3 months. Although SBRT does not seem to succeed complete termination of VT in long-term period, our findings support the strategy that SBRT can be utilized for immediate antiarrhythmic palliation in critically ill patients with otherwise untreatable refractory VT and electrical storm
