KYTC and INDOT will provide an update on the progress of design and construction of the LSIORB Project since work began on the downtown and east end crossings in 2013. The update will include information on the organization of the owner’s and contractor’s teams, the design process, and how each crossing is addressing construction oversight

Effective Risk Management for Major Projects

INDOT’s Major Projects Delivery team continues to successfully deliver some of the state’s largest and most complex transportation projects. Proactive risk management strategies are used throughout the planning, procurement, and execution phases of these projects in order to protect stakeholder interests and meet project goals. We will discuss these strategies, why they are important, and highlight the benefts of the process using examples from current INDOT Major Projects
