    This study aims to determine the factors of production that significantly affect the production of rice farming, consisting of two factors, namely land and experience of farmers in farming in the real level of 95%. While factors of production such as seed, fertilizer, labor, and education have no effect on the real significance of the set.     Abstract: This research is to improve the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of Natural Events of the students in Grade V of State Primary School of Premulung through the application of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament type. This research used the classroom action research method with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings, and each meeting comprised 4 phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Technique of the data collecting included observation, interviews, testing, and documentation.The data were validated by using the data and method triangulations. They were then analyzed by using the comparative descriptive statistical techniques.This result indicates that the application of the cooperative learning model with the Teams Games Tournament type can improve the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of Natural Events of the students in Grade V of State Primary School of Premulung No. 94, Sondakan, Laweyan, Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi peristiwa alam kelas V SDN Premulung melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan dan tiap pertemuan terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah trianggulasi data dan trianggulasi metode. Pada penelitian ini, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistik deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi peristiwa alam kelas V SDN Premulung No. 94 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.     HUBUNGAN ANTARA STATUS SOSIAL EKONOMI DENGAN PEMBRIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF PADA BAYI USIA 6-12 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BAILANG KOTA MANADO

    Air Susu Ibu (ASI) Merupakan makanan yang terbaik untuk bayi pada usia 0-6 bulan, dan mengandung semua kebutuhan nutrisi untuk bayi seperti protein, karbohidrat, lemak, vitamin, dan mineral dan sudah tercukupi oleh ASI.Status ekonomi adalah kedudukan seseorang atau keluarga di masyarakat berdasarkan pendapatan per bulan.Puskesmas Bailang merupakan salah satu puskesmas yang ada di Kota Manado dengan cakupan ASI eksklusif yang masih belum mencapai target. Data dari Puskesmas Bailang menunjukan bahwa cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada tahun 2017 bulan Januari untuk bayi usia 6-12 bulan dari 130 sasaran jumlah bayi yang ada di puskesmas Bailang yang mendapat ASI berjumlah (35,7%). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei analitik, dengan menggunakan desain Cross SectionalStudy. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu bayi berusia 6-12 bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bailang Kota Manadosebanyak 98 bayi sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan kriteria eksklusi. Data pemberian ASI eksklusif didapatkan melalui wawancara dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi usia 6-12 bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bailang Kota Manado. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubunganantara status sosoal ekonomi dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p>0,05) berdasarkan pendidikan ibu (p=0,161), pekerjaan ibu (p=0,075) dan pendapatan keluarga(p=0,754) di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bilang Kota Manado.Kata Kunci : Pemberian ASI Eksklusif, Status Sosial Ekonomi.ABSTRACTBreast milk is the best food for babies at 0-6 months of their age. It contains all the nutritional needs for babies such as proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals; these are sufficient by breast milk. Economic status is the stage of a person or family in the community based on income per month. Bailang health care center is one of the health centers in Manado with exclusive breasfeeding coverage that has not reached the target. The data showed that coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in January 2017 for infants 6-12 months out of 130 targeted to received breast milk was 35,7%. This study using analytic survey research method with cross sectional design. Samples in this study were infants 6-12 months in the working are of Bailang health care center was 98 infants in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data of exclusive breastfeeding was obtained through interviews using questionnaires and data analysis using Chi-Square statistical test. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between socioeconomic status with exclusive breastfeeding in infants 6-12 months in Bailang health care center Manado. The results showed that there was no correlation between socioeconomic status with exclusive breastfeeding (p> 0,05); based on mother education (p = 0,401), based on maternal job (p = 0,798), and basaed on family income (p = 0,668) in Bailang health care center Manado.Keywords: Exclusive Breastfeeding, Socioeconomic Status

    Physicochemical properties of tarap (Artocarpus adoratisimus) starch

    The objective of the research was to investigate the physicochemical characteristics of Tarap fruit starch. In this study, young Tarap fruit starch was extracted and the percentage of total starch, resistant starch, amylose and amylopectin were determined. Scanning electron microscope was used to evaluate the morphological features of the starch granule. Swelling, pasting, gelatinization, retrogradation and in vitro digestibility were also investigated. A total of 17.85% starch was successfully extracted from unripe Tarap fruit, whereas the amount of total starch and resistant starch were 89.14% and 47.82%, respectively. The amounts of rapid digestible starch and slowly digestible starch were 6.58% and 23.25%, respectively. Results found that the amylopectin content was higher than amylose (77.15% and 11.97%). The starch granules were round and polygon in shapes with smooth surfaces. The average of starch granules size was range from 6.50 to 8.30 μm with 7.4 μm of mean granule diameter. Pasting properties showed that peak viscosity was observed at about 6.5 min at 73.5oC. Tarap starch gelatinization temperatures (onset, 71.63°C; peak, 74.56°C; conclusion, 78.24°C) and enthalpy of gelatinization (ΔHgel) (3.74 J/g) were higher while the retrograded starches show lower retrogradation temperature and enthalpy than native starches. Unripe Tarap starch showed good potential to be utilized as adhesives and thickener for industrial applications
