Possibilities and obstacles of democracy and human rights within political philosophy from Latin America
As part of political philosophy at the universal level in Latin America have germinated ideas and enriching proposals that contribute to clarify the possibilities and obstacles for the development of democracy and human rights problems. Despite the recognition of the existence of countless more elaborate obstacles and greater democratic achievements and human rights prevails a progressive concept of social development, sponsored by the strengthening of the fight for such rights.Como parte de la filosofía política a escala universal en América Latina, han germinado ideas y propuestas enriquecedoras que contribuyen a esclarecer la problemática de las posibilidades y obstáculos para el desarrollo de la democracia y los derechos humanos. No obstante el reconocimiento de la existencia de innumerables obstáculos para la realización más elaborada y de mayores conquistas democráticas y de los derechos humanos, prevalece una concepción progresiva del desarrollo social, auspiciada por el fortalecimiento de la lucha por tales derechos
Papel de la Ilustración latinoamericana en la gestación de la cultura integracionista
This research article analyze with a qualitative methodology the relevance
of the thinkers of the Latin American Illustration in the gestation of
integrationist culture. Among the main elements that demonstrate this
affirmation are: their contribution to the vindication of the vernacular
values of the original peoples, their work in the initial formation of regional
or national identity or of Americanity, their claims for the elimination of
unjust forms of exploitation of popular sectors, particularly indigenous
peoples and African slavery. His proposals for modernization were also
highlighted not only of the economic and technological infrastructure,
but of educational and cultural institutions, as well as their struggles
against all that is ideologically obsolete. Their claims of peoples’ political
and social rights with early proposals for political reforms were very
significant, which, when they failed, led to the decision to take up arms to
fight for independence
El tema de la cultura en el pensamiento latinoamericano: la construcción de la identidad y la autenticidad
This research article analyzes, whit a qualitative methodology, ideas of
some thinkers about the place, the values and problems of identity and
authenticity of Latin American culture, in its dialectical correlation between the specific nature of this and universal culture. The objective is
underlining that this subject is not a merely theoretical problem, but eminently practical, because of its analysis depend on the different attitudes
that are assumed in the improvement of the institutions and mechanisms
of power that have different dominated the Latin American peoples
La praxis investigativa y pedagógico-educativa latinoamericana ante las ideologías, los obstáculos epistemológicos y el pragmatismo.
The article discusses some of the problems that arise to the Latin American research and pedagogico-educativa praxis ideologies, the epistemological obstacles and pragmatism. Some criteria of outstanding Latin American thinkers on the concept of ideology are valued. Discusses some contradictory elements of this concept in the epistemological and axiological level, its impact on the teaching process and the scientific establishment that have led to sometimes utilitarian and attitudes far from adequate cultural training humanistic and integral of new generations of Latin American professionals.El artículo analiza algunos de los problemas que se le presentan a la praxis investigativa y pedagógico-educativa latinoamericana ante las ideologías, los obstáculos epistemológicos y el pragmatismo. Se valoran algunos criterios de destacados pensadores latinoamericanos sobre el concepto de ideología. Se analizan algunos contradictorios elementos de este concepto en el plano epistemológico y axiológico, en su incidencia sobre el proceso docente y en la creación científica que han propiciado en ocasiones actitudes utilitaristas y distantes de la adecuada formación cultural humanística e integral de las nuevas generaciones de profesionales latinoamericanos
