Symbolic Tensor Calculus -- Functional and Dynamic Approach
In this paper, we briefly discuss the dynamic and functional approach to
computer symbolic tensor analysis. The ccgrg package for Wolfram
Language/Mathematica is used to illustrate this approach. Some examples of
applications are attached
Sharp change over from compound nuclear fission to shape dependent quasi fission
Fission fragment mass distribution has been measured from the decay of
Bk nucleus populating via two entrance channels with slight difference
in mass asymmetries but belonging on either side of the Businaro Gallone mass
asymmetry parameter. Both the target nuclei were deformed. Near the Coulomb
barrier, at similar excitation energies the width of the fission fragment mass
distribution was found to be drastically different for the N +
Th reaction compared to the B + U reaction. The entrance
channel mass asymmetry was found to affect the fusion process sharply.Comment: 4 pages,6 figure
Evidence of microscopic effects in fragment mass distribution in heavy ion induced fusion-fission reactions
Our measurements of variances () in mass distributions of
fission fragments from fusion-fission reactions of light projectiles (C, O and
F) on deformed thorium targets exhibit a sharp anomalous increase with energy
near the Coulomb barrier, in contrast to the smooth variation of
for the spherical bismuth target. This departure from expectation based on a
statistical description is explained in terms of microscopic effects arising
from the orientational dependence in the case of deformed thorium targets.Comment: Replaced with revised version, to appear in Phys. Lett.
Acoustics of early universe. I. Flat versus open universe models
A simple perturbation description unique for all signs of curvature, and
based on the gauge-invariant formalisms is proposed to demonstrate that:
(1) The density perturbations propagate in the flat radiation-dominated
universe in exactly the same way as electromagnetic or gravitational waves
propagate in the epoch of the matter domination.
(2) In the open universe, sounds are dispersed by curvature. The space
curvature defines the minimal frequency below which the
propagation of perturbations is forbidden.

"Cosmological" quasiparticle production in harmonically trapped superfluid gases
We show that a variety of cosmologically motivated effective quasiparticle
space-times can be produced in harmonically trapped superfluid Bose and Fermi
gases. We study the analogue of cosmological particle production in these
effective space-times, induced by trapping potentials and coupling constants
possessing an arbitrary time dependence. The WKB probabilities for phonon
creation from the superfluid vacuum are calculated, and an experimental
procedure to detect quasiparticle production by measuring density-density

Cosmological models with bulk viscosity in presence of adiabatic matter creation and with G, c and Lambda variables
Some properties of cosmological models with a time variable bulk viscous
coefficient in presence of adiabatic mater creation and G, c, Lambda variables
are investigated in the framework of flat FRW line element. We trivially find a
set of solutions through Dimensional Analysis. In all the studied cases it is
found that the behaviour of these constants is inversely prportional to the

Influence of Incomplete Fusion Reaction on Complete Fusion Below 10 Mev/ Nucleon Energies
An attempt has been made in the present work to provide an ample opportunity to explore the information about the influence of incomplete fusion (ICF) reaction dynamics on complete fusion in heavy ion induced nuclear reactions. excitation functions for several evaporation residues produced in the interaction of projectile 16O with target 175lu have been measured over the wide projectile energy range ≈ 70-100 MeV. the recoil-catcher activation technique followed by the offline γ-ray spectroscopy has been used for the present measurements. In case of precursor decay, we have made use of Cavinato et al. formulation to calculate the independent cross-section of the identified residues. the measured efs are compared with theoretical predictions of statistical model code PACE-2 and any enhancement in the measured cross-section from theoretical prediction may be due to ICF reaction process. An attempt has been made to estimate the ICf contribution of the cross-section from the measured excitation function data and the dependence of ICf cross-section on projectile energy
