las portadas del ABC.This work analizes the informative treatment that has become the
landmark case of transmission of ebola to Teresa Romero in Spain, through the
front cover of two of the main Spanish mainstream media (ABC and El País)
since August the 7th, 2014 until November the 2nd, 2014. The objective is point
out the difference in informative treatment in the communication of a sanitarian
crisis and check where the boundaries of ethics and professional conduct are.
This research aims to obtain examples of the degradation of information ethics
in this country into a deep crisis of values. At the end it shows there is a
manipulation through the ABC's front covers
Test Case Generation for Object-Oriented Imperative Languages in CLP
Testing is a vital part of the software development process. Test Case
Generation (TCG) is the process of automatically generating a collection of
test cases which are applied to a system under test. White-box TCG is usually
performed by means of symbolic execution, i.e., instead of executing the
program on normal values (e.g., numbers), the program is executed on symbolic
values representing arbitrary values. When dealing with an object-oriented (OO)
imperative language, symbolic execution becomes challenging as, among other
things, it must be able to backtrack, complex heap-allocated data structures
should be created during the TCG process and features like inheritance, virtual
invocations and exceptions have to be taken into account. Due to its inherent
symbolic execution mechanism, we pursue in this paper that Constraint Logic
Programming (CLP) has a promising unexploited application field in TCG. We will
support our claim by developing a fully CLP-based framework to TCG of an OO
imperative language, and by assessing it on a corresponding implementation on a
set of challenging Java programs. A unique characteristic of our approach is
that it handles all language features using only CLP and without the need of
developing specific constraint operators (e.g., to model the heap)
Platinum Electrodeposition in an Ionic Liquid Analogue. Solvent Stability Monitoring
The use of ionic liquid analogues as solvents has increased in order to substitute the aqueous solvents in some applications in which the side reactions are undesirable. However these solvents prepared from the mixture in the eutectic proportion of species establishing hydrogen bonds are susceptible of electrochemical reactions. The study of platinum deposition on vitreous carbon in an ionic liquid analogue (2 urea: choli ne chloride) is presented; the electrochemical study has permitted to interpret the sequence of the metal deposition process and simultaneously to analyze the behavior of the ionic liquid analogue along the process. Reduction reactions of the solvent relat ed both to the electronation of choline and hydrogen formation have been detected. Different substrata have been used in order to test the possibility and the extent of these reactions depending on the nature of material. The results indicate that the feas ible electrochemical window of the substrate/solvent is highly dependent of the kind of substrate; the negative limit is tied by the massive hydrogen reaction, reaction enhanced by the electrocatalytic character of the substrate
Analysis and Simulation of the Leg of an Hexapod Robot for Remote Exploration
The locomotion system is determined by the terrain conditions. The aim of this paper is to introduce the characteristics and simulation of a hexapod legged robot that can be easily used for exploration of abrupt and harsh terrains, Jike the Rio Tinto environment. A walking robot seems like the best option for this kind of terrain. Some of the advantages are that they do not need continuous terrain, they have less problems with sliding and they also have greater capacity to overcome obstacles as they produce Jess harm to the environment that the scientist wants to explore on the contrary when faced with mechanical design they present a design challenge, also in the static and dynamic analysis problem of a legged robot, there is a high complexity that has to be taken into account. This paper shows how to easily cope with the analysis of hexapod robot movement based on a design developed by the Center of Astrobiology INTA-CSIC for operation in RioTinto (Huelva - Spain)
administración y servicios, alumnado y servicios centrales.
Since 2015 there has been a considerable increase in the number of students in the Sociology Degree at
A Coruña University, at the same time the composition of the teaching and administration staff of the
centre has changed. This new context affects both the management tasks of the faculty, as well as the
development of the learning process and the tutorial actions. And shows the need of collaborative work
between the Tutorial Action Plan and the Degree Coordination Degree in an integrated management
system. The aim of this initiative is to consolidate a new tutorial culture that avoids the overlapping of
teaching and tutoring actions carried, guaranteeing greater involvement and active participation of all the
actors that take part of the university community: management team, teaching, administration and
central services staff and students. The pilot project “Tutorial Coordination” is proposed during the
present academic year from the Coordinators of the Degree and the Tutorial Action Plan, it is focused on
a participated acquisition of own and transversal competences, assuming learning, management and
tutorial activities as a shared responsibility
Patterns and partners for chiral symmetry restoration
We present and analyze a new set of Ward Identities which shed light on the distinction between different patterns of chiral symmetry restoration in QCD, namely O(4) vs O(4) x U(1)_A. The degeneracy of chiral partners for all scalar and pseudoscalar meson nonet members is studied through their corresponding correlators. Around chiral symmetry degeneration of O(4) partners, our analysis predicts that U(1)_A partners are also degenerated. Our analysis also leads to I = 1/2 scalar-pseudoscalar partner degeneration at exact chiral restoration and supports ideal mixing between the η- η' and the f₀(500)-f₀(980) mesons at O(4) x U(1)_A restoration, with a possible range where the pseudoscalar mixing vanishes if the two transitions are well separated. We test our results with lattice data and provide further relevant observables regarding chiral and U(1)_A restoration for future lattice and model analyses
