    Pembuatan Peta Semantik Pada Kegiatan Prabaca Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Memahami Bacaan Siswa Sekolah Menengah

    This study aims to improve the reading ability through thue use of semantics mapping. This study was an classroom action research and conducted in three cycles. The participants were nineth studets of class E of SMP Negeri 27 Surakarta. The result showed that there was an improvement in the percentace of formulating the semantics mapping, reading activity and ability. The effective learning procedure was as follows. The students surveyed the text, formulated semantics mapping with questions word 5W + 1 H which organized on the board underheadings, memorized the semantics mapping, read the text intensively that they could use their maps as a review of information gained, stated the information about topics in the semantics mapping, and answered the questions (take a test). The conclusion of this research is when students have a purpose for reading a selection, they find that purpose not only directs their reading towards a goal, but helps to focus their attention

    Peningkatan Keaktifan Dan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Anekdot Dengan Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Make a Match Pada Siswa Kelas X Smk

    This research aims to improve: (1) student activeness in learning writing anecdot text, and (2) students writing skill in anecdot text in class X TM B SMK Negerui Surakarta by using make a match teaching model. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research is conducted in two cycle which each cycle consist of four stages;they are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Precentage of students activeness which have medium and good criteria in cycle I as big as 76,66%, while in cycle II become 86,66%. Enhanchement of students writing skill in anecdot text can also be seen from the increasing number of student who get score > 67 in each cycle. In the beginning survey, percentage of student who get complete score is 36,7%, 70 in cycle I and 83,33% in cycle II. It shows that implementation of make a match teaching model can improve students activeness and writing skill anecdot text in class X TM B SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. Absrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan: (1) keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot; dan (2) kemampuan menulis teks anekdot pada siswa kelas X TM B SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Persentase keaktifan siswa yang memiliki kategori sedang dan baik dalam siklus I adalah sebesar 76,66%, sedangkan pada siklus II menjadi 86,66%. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis teks anekdot juga dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang mencapai skor >67 pada setiap siklus. Pada survei awal, persentase siswa yang dapat mencapai nilai ketuntasan sebesar 36,7%. Pada siklus I sebesar 70% dan pada siklus II sebesar 83,33%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran make a match dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan kemampuan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelas X TM B SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta

    Pengaruh Strategi Know Want to Learn (Kwl) Dan Minat Membaca Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Intensif Siswa SMP Negeri Di Temanggung

    : The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) the influence of reading strategy “Know Want to Learn” (KWL) to an intensive reading skills of students; (2) the influence of high and low reading interest on students intensive reading skills; (3) the interaction between reading strategies and reading interest of students intensive reading skills. This study uses an experiment method with a 2x2 factorial design. The study population is all students in grade VII of Secondary School academic year 2011/2012 in Temanggung residence. Analysis of data using two-way analysis of variance. The results showed that: (1) there are differences in students reading skills who were taught intensively with KWL strategy and Conventional, which is an intensive reading skills of students who were taught by the KWL strategy are better than students who were taught with conventional strategies. It is shown from the experimental class averages 77.97 while the control class is 71.25; (2) there are differences in the ability of intensive reading students who have high interest in reading are better than students who have low interest in reading. It is shown that the average student has a high interest in reading is 77.80, while average students who have low reading 69.91; (3) there is no interaction between reading strategies to read interest with intensive reading skills of students. It is evident from the value of the significance of the interaction strategies of reading and interest in reading is 0.742> 0.05. The result is greater than the significance level 0.05

    Model Pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Divisions Untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Dan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

    : The aims of this research are to improve: (1) the activeness of learning process; and (2) the results of learning skills to write poetry using the Student Teams Acievement Divisions (STAD) in class VIII H grade of SMP Negeri 8Surakarta. This research is a classroom action research. The Implementation of the method STAD can improve the activeness of learning process on poetry writing skills that be indicatored by teachersand students performance. The performance of the original teacher (prasiklus) get scored 43,75, in the first cycle increased to 56.77 and cycles II increased by 81.25, while the performance of students there was an increase in activity of students in the following study on writting poetry skills. At the time of prasiklus activity of students as much as 25%, in the first cycle increased to 43.7% and the second cycle increased by 56.2%. Besides the quality of the process, the application method Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) is also able to improve the quality of students\u27 writing poetry skills. It is seen from the thoroughness of student learning outcomes, when prasiklus students who completed KKM amounted to 43.7% (14 students), the first cycle increased 62.5% (20 students) and the second cycle increased by 81.2% (26 students)

    : This study aimed to describe the learning plan, the implementation of learning, assessment, and obstacles encountered during the learning process as well as efforts made by the teacher to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in the teaching of writing text short story in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This study uses a single case study approach rooted, ie research that just stuck on one subject matter that is done in the classroom. Sources of data in this study, among others, the event learning to write short stories texts, informants, and documents. The validity of the data is done by triangulation of data, triangulation method, and reivew informant. Data were analyzed using an interactive model. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in the teaching of writing text short story in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo, ranging from planning, implementation, and assessment largely in accordance with Permendikbud 22 in 2016 on the Standard Process Primary and Secondary Education and Permendikbud No. 23 on education Assessment Standards. Nonetheless, there are some components that are not appropriate. During the learning process also encountered several obstacles that arise, but the teacher has made various efforts to overcome these obstacles

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tokoh utama dalam mendukung keutuhan karya sastra, nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, dan penggunaan hasil kajian novel Anak Sejuta Bintang karya Akmal Nasery Basral sebagai bahan ajar bagi siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis isi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut ini. Pertama, tokoh Ical sebagai tokoh utama digambarkan melalui 3 dimensi, yaitu dimensi fisiologis sebagai sosok anak laki-laki berusia 3-12 tahun, berperawakan ramping, dan gagah; dimensi sosiologis, Ical merupakan keturunan Lampung dan Batak yang mudah bergaul dan memiliki jiwa kepemimpinan di masyarakat; dimensi psikologis, Ical mendapatkan pendidikan yang baik di keluarga dan terbuka menceritakan permasalahan kepada orangtua. Kedua, novel Anak Sejuta Bintang mengandung 13 nilai karakter, yaitu religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Ketiga, novel Anak Sejuta Bintang dapat dijadikan bahan pembelajaran sastra novel di SMA
