    Rhotacism: supporting guide

    RESUMEN: El adecuado desarrollo de la lengua conlleva al adecuado desarrollo integral del alumnado, principal finalidad de la Educación Primaria. El objetivo del presente trabajo es la elaboración de un documento de apoyo dirigido a familias, docentes y alumnos en el que encontrar información y materiales para comenzar a trabajar una de las dislalias más frecuentes en la iniciación al lenguaje, el rotacismo. Este proyecto está enfocado a los alumnos¹ del primer ciclo de Educación Primaria. Los ejercicios propuestos en la guía están adaptados para ser trabajados tanto en el ámbito escolar como en el ámbito familiar. Son materiales muy intuitivos y visuales que intentar aumentar el interés y la motivación en el alumno. Uniendo nuestra guía de apoyo a las grandes ventajas ofrecidas por las TICS, elaboramos un blog, llamado “Erre que erre”², con el objetivo de formar una beneficiosa comunidad de aprendizaje en la que participar, compartir y distribuir el conocimiento y los recursos educativos necesarios para enfrentarse a este trastorno articulatorio. Evidentemente, teniendo en cuenta el rango de edad al que nos dirigimos, todos los ejercicios se basarán en el juego, considerando este como la herramienta de aprendizaje más eficaz en esta etapa educativa.ABSTRACT: The proper development of language leads to adequate comprehensive development of students, the main purpose of primary education. The objective of this work is the development of a support document aimed at families, teachers and students providing information and materials to start working with one of the most frequent dyslalias in the initiation of the language, rhotacism. This project is aimed at students in the first cycle of primary education with difficulties in pronunciation of the phoneme /r/. The exercises in the guide are adapted to be worked both in schools and in the home. They are very intuitive and visual materials that aim to increase the interest and motivation of the students. Combining our support guide with the great advantages offered by ICT, we developed a blog called "Erre que erre" in order to form a beneficial learning community in which to participate, share and distribute knowledge and educational resources to address this articulatory disorder. Obviously, given the age range in question, all the exercises will be based on games, considering this the most effective learning tool at this educational stage.Grado en Magisterio en Educación Primari

    Benchmarking 5G MEC and Cloud infrastructures for planning IoT messaging of CCAM data

    Vehicles embed lots of sensors supporting driving and safety. Combined with connectivity, they bring new possibilities for Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) services that exploit local and global data for a wide understanding beyond the myopic view of local sensors. Internet of Things (IoT) messaging solutions are ideal for vehicular data as they ship core features like the separation of geographic areas, the fusion of different producers on data/sensor types, and concurrent subscription support. Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) and Cloud infrastructures are key to hosting a virtualized and distributed IoT platform. Currently, the are no benchmarks for assessing the appropriate size of an IoT platform for multiple vehicular data types such as text, image, binary point clouds and video-formatted samples.     Traffic Classification for Network Slicing in Mobile Networks

    Network slicing is a promising technique used in the smart delivery of traffic and can satisfy the requirements of specific applications or systems based on the features of the 5G network. To this end, an appropriate slice needs to be selected for each data flow to efficiently transmit data for different applications and heterogeneous requirements. To apply the slicing paradigm at the radio segment of a cellular network, this paper presents two approaches for dynamically classifying the traffic types of individual flows and transmitting them through a specific slice with an associated 5G quality-of-service identifier (5QI). Finally, using a 5G standalone (SA) experimental network solution, we apply the radio resource sharing configuration to prioritize traffic that is dispatched through the most suitable slice.     RESUMEN: En este trabajo abordamos la aparición de una nueva forma de movilización que surge en los Estados Unidos como respuesta a las condiciones precarias de vida de la comunidad afroamericana que desembocan de manera explícita en situaciones extremas de brutalidad policial: Black Lives Matter. Si bien el racismo se encuentra en todas partes, nos centramos en explicar los temas que, a nuestro juicio, son más sangrantes y llevan directamente al movimiento que nos ocupa. Analizamos las condiciones específicas que conducen a su nacimiento, la innovadora forma de organización y expresión a través de un medio completamente nuevo hasta el momento, su evolución y sus aciertos y logros. Expondremos algunos de los casos más significativos, que han llevado a la globalización de este movimiento y su influencia en la sociedad.ABSTRACT: In this paper we address the emergence of a new form of mobilization that arises in the United States as a response to the precarious living conditions of the African American community that explicitly lead to extreme situations of police brutality: Black Lives Matter. While racism is everywhere, we focus on explaining the issues that we believe are most bloody and that lead directly to the movement at hand. We analyze the specific conditions that lead to its birth, its innovative form of organization and expression through a completely new medium so far, its evolution and its successes and achievements. We will expose some of the most significant cases, which have led to the globalization of this movement and its influence on society.Grado en Derech

    Cognitive Radio for Improved Reliability in a Real-Time Wireless MAC Protocol based on TDMA

    Wireless communications enables introduction of Internet of Things (IoT) in industrial networks. Unfortunately, real-time guarantees required for many IoT applications, may be compromised in wireless networks due to an unreliable transmission medium. A key component in enabling real-time communications is the medium access control (MAC) layer and its ability to effectively avoid concurrent transmissions that causes deadline misses. Also, deploying the network in a harsh interference environment can lead to low reliability. Time diversity, based on transmitting several copies of the same data at different instants, increases reliability but at the expense of increased jitter and bandwidth. A more efficient resource utilization is expected from cognitive radio, which dynamically takes into account the status of the wireless environment before performing transmissions. This paper proposes a wireless MAC protocol based on scheduled timeslots to avoid concurrent transmissions, combined with two different mechanisms to increase reliability, one based on time diversity and another on cognitive radio.
