    Science Literacy Assessment Instrument for Additives and Addictive Substances: Development, Validation, and Rasch Model Analysis

    Science literacy is one of the areas of basic literacy that PISA focuses on. Science literacy is essence of learning in the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to develop and validate instruments to assess science literacy in the area of additives and addictive substances. The researcher refers to the modified PISA framework and Bloom's Revised Taxonomy. The developed instrument was tested for reliability and validity using the Aiken V method and the Rasch model. The research respondents consisted of 47 students from two junior high schools: a public school and a private school that has been accredited A. The results of the analysis showed that the instrument has validity. The results of the analysis showed that of the 25 items given there were 24 valid items, the resulting Cronbach's alpha value of 0.86 showed very good criteria, it can be concluded that the instrument has high validity and good reliability. This instrument is expected to be used to measure the quality of education and science literacy of students in Indonesia

    Abstract - In its application, the mobile system has its limitations    and is    often    experienced disturbances  (interference)  like  limited  talk channels as the result of the increasing number of cellular communication technology user, which is led to „block call‟. The problem with Radio Frequency   (RF)   signal   reception   is   also   an important factor in wireless communication system. The low quality of signal levels caused the frequent call failure or „drop call‟. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of tensile strength in ASTM plate welded joints A36 with variations of single vee butt and single bevel butt and knowing the comparison of the effects ofpost-weldd heat treatment on welded joints with variations of single v butt and single bevel butt joints. The method used in this research is experimental. The results of the data obtained in this study The value of the tensile strength of the Single Bevel Butt joint without the influence of Heat Treatment is 153.87 MPa, the tensile strength of the Single Vee Butt joint without the influence of Heat Treatment is 161.75 MPa and the tensile strength of the seam Single Bevel Butt with the effect of Heat Treatment is 196,65 MPa. The tensile strength of the Single Vee Butt seam with the effect of Heat Treatment is 173,36 MPa

    Kejahatan kian marak terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat, baik itu kejahatan terencana maupun tidak. Berdasarkan beberapa data, pola kejahatan marak dimulai dari adanya suatu migrasi penduduk dari satu wilayah ke wilayah lain. Dalam hal ini, kemungkinan para pelaku kejahatan untuk masuk ke dalam suatu wilayah dan membaur dengan warga akan sangat membahayakan bagi warga sekitar, tak terkecuali bagi warga Desa Karangagung Kabupaten Tuban. Selama beberapa tahun ke belakang, mereka kerap kali menemukan adanya beberapa pendatang yang memasuki hingga tinggal di daerah mereka selama suatu kurun waktu tertentu tanpa melalui suatu skema pelaporan yang telah diatur sebelumnya. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan munculnya kekhawatiran bagi warga masyarakat terhadap aktifitas para pendatang dan menimbulkan berbagai pertanyaan mengenai status mereka. Adapun alur pelaporan secara manual yang ada mempunyai beberapa kendala seperti lamanya delay disposisi surat hingga sulitnya para pihak yang berwenang untuk ditemui dalam hal pengurusan surat pelaporan pendatang. Oleh karena itu masyarakat desa Karangagung membutuhkan sebuah sistem terkomputerisasi berbasis web yang mampu menggantikan peran sistem secara manual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan proyek perangkat lunak model Waterfall dan menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi tanggap penduduk berbasis web yang mampu diakses oleh warga desa Karangagung Kabupaten Tuba

    Rumah Sakit sebagai institusi pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat dituntut untuk senantiasa berubah dan meningkatkan kinerja dengan memperhatikan dinamika lingkungan yang sangat kuat terjadi, seperti pelaksanaan pemasaran internal. Tujuan: penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui makna pengalaman penyelenggara, pelaksana, dan penerima pelayanan, serta menganalisis pemasaran internal terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan di RS Swasta Kota Makassar. Metode Penelitian: pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) kepada partisipan dan penelusuran dokumen, menggunakan metode wawancara semi terstruktur dengan menggunakan pertanyaan terbuka (open-ended questions). Tahapan proses wawancara terdiri atas tiga fase, yaitu: fase orientasi, fase kerja, dan fase terminasi. Hasil: indikator pemasaran internal yang berkontribusi paling besar adalah penghargaan kepada karyawan, namun pihak manajemen rumah sakit masih terkendala dalam beberapa hal untuk menyejahterakan karyawan. Karyawan menyikapi bahwa pemasaran internal sebagai suatu hal yang positif dan dapat menjadi faktor penyebab kepuasan kerja, serta dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Implikasi penelitian: menjadi pedoman bagi Pemerintah dan pihak yayasan RS agar memperhatikan secara menyeluruh semua lini dalam pelayanan rumah sakit. Rekomendasi: diharapkan pihak yayasan RS dan jajaran lebih memperhatikan kesejahteraan SDM kesehatan yang bekerja dalam lingkup RS swasta, serta tidak hanya memperhatikan salah satu lini dalam pelayanan rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan

    Sektor UKM salah satu penunjang ekonomi nasional, bila dilakukan penanganan yang baik dan tepat sangat berpengaruh besar bagi kesejahteraan masyakat. Di Kecamatan Tanjungraya Kabupaten Agam yang di kenal dengan Danau Maninjau, Penghasilan utama penduduknya  80% bergantung  pada  hasil  perikanan, pertanian dan perkebunan. Oleh sebab itu  program dan pembinaan   yang tepat  sasaran  akan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, namun sebaliknya bila pembinaan dan pengawasan yang tidak berjalan sesuai fungsinya akan menimbulkan bencana bagi masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini  menggunakan  pendekatan  metode  deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi  pemberdayaan eknomi masyarakat,  dan aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat disekitar danau Maninjau dan selanjutnya dikembangkan berdasarkan potensi daerah dan sumber-sumber sekunder dan primer. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode survei dan wawancara dengan narasumber: Camat,  Walinagari, UKM Petani ikan, tokoh adat, alim ulama. Terdapat 17.226 petak kerambah ikan jarring apung (KJA) di sekitar danau maninjau yang pemiliknya adalah pengusaha, UKM, dan petani ikan. aktivitas ekonomi bagi UKM /Petani ikan  dapat meningkat kesejahteraan keluarganya dan masyarakat secara signifikan. Small-Medium Enterpries (SME) Sector is one of national economic support. If SME is handled well and properly, it will provide great influence for prosperity of society. In the District of Tanjungraya, Agam Regency, known as Maninjau Lake, 80% of the main income of its community is dependent on fishery, agriculture and plantation. Therefore, appropriate programs and guidance of targets will be able to improve the welfare of the community. Otherwise, if coaching and supervision do not run accordingly to its function, then it will cause disaster for the community. This research employs descriptive method approach to identify community economic empowerment, and economic activity of society around Maninjau lake and then it is developed based on regional potency and secondary and primary sources. The data is collected using survey method and interviews with resource persons including : Head of Districs, Walinagari, Small-Medium Enterpries of Fish farmers, traditional leaders and religious leaders. There are 17,226 plots of floating fish net (KJA) around the Maninjau lake whose owners are entrepreneurs, SMEs, and fish farmers. The economic activity for SME/fish farmers are able to increase the welfare of their families and communities significantly.

    The purpose of this study is to develop ICT-based learning media on quantum mechanics subject matter. This research is a research development (R&D) using ms.excel to develop learning media. The development of this research uses the ADDIE model that is (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. Validation was carried out by two media experts and two material experts. The developed media was tested on 20 respondents. The results showed that ICT-based learning media that had been developed were based on media expert validator I 82.35% and media expert validator II 80.00%, both media expert validators assessed ICT learning media as good. Whereas the assessment of the material expert validator I and material expert II is 90.00% with a good category. Responses and tests conducted on respondents carried out as much as 85% of respondents completed valid questions from the tests used so that effective learning media used in the learning process. While as much as 82.06% of students claimed that the ICT learning media were categorized as good. Based on the results of research on ICT learning media data on quantum mechanical materials that are feasible, interesting and effectively used in the process of chemical learning.     Clinical and laboratory manifestations of childhood and adult-onset systemic lupus erythematosus in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital

    Background Childhood-onset SLE is more severe than the adult type. Objective To compare the clinical and laboratory manifestations of childhood- and adult-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods A retrospective study on child and adult SLE patients was conducted in the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunol- ogy, Department of Child Health and Department of Internal Medi- cine, Medical School, University of Indonesia/CiptoMangunkusumo Hospital (FKUI/RSCM) Jakarta. Subjects One hundred and twenty-nine subjects met the study criteria consisting on 54 childhood- onset (41.9%), 75 adult-onset (58.1%), and 122 (94.6%) females and 7 (5.4%) males from Janu- ary 1995 until December 2000. Results Fever, arthralgia and vasculitis were the most frequent signs found in both childhood-onset and adult-onset SLE. The liver, spleen, lymph nodes, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal tract, and eyes were the organs involved and significantly had a larger pro- portion in the childhood-onset. Decrease of C3 was more frequently found in the childhood-onset. Out of 17 childhood-onset patients who died, 13 died at the age of 0-11 year-old. Two of the adult- onset patients also died.     Abstract In the lunar calendar there are three white days, namely on days where the moon looks bright at night on the 13th, 14th and 15th (full moon), however, to distinguish the 14th and 15th by means of a rukyat in a month is very difficult because in the month full moon reflected moonlight is just as bright so contemporary reckoning is needed. The type of research used is library research with an astronomical and syar'i research approach. equipped with primary data and secondary data. Processing and analysis of data through the process of editing data, transforming data and presenting data. The research results obtained by calculating the full moon with the Jean Meeus algorithm for the month of Ramadan 1444 H, first converting the UT time to JD which is then converted to JDE. Find T to find M, M', F, and Ω. The difference in the calculation results from the Meeus and ephemeris algorithms is very large, around 19h 11m 19d. Meeus uses the long formula while ephemeris uses the RI Ministry of Religion's moon-solar data. Pengolahan dan analisis data melalui proses pengeditan data, transformasi data dan penyajian data. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh perhitungan full moon dengan algoritma Jean Meeus untuk bulan Ramadhan 1444 H, mengkonversi terlebih dahulu waktu UT  menjadi JD yang selanjutnya diubah menjadi JDE. Mencari T untuk mengetahui M, M’, F, dan Ω. Perbedaan hasil perhitungan dari algoritma Meeus dan ephemeris sangat besar berkisar 19j 11m 19d. Meeus menggunakan rumus panjang sedangkan ephemeris menggunakan data bulan-matahari Kemenag RI. Kata Kunci: Algoritma, Ephemeris, Penanggalan Kamaria
