Práce se zabývá vytvořením aplikace pro výuku šachu. Metody výuky zahrnují kromě hry proti počítači také síťovou hru proti hráči či počítači a je vytvořena i podpora pro použití šachových diagramů. Program disponuje podporou přehrávání existujících partií ve standardním formátu PGN. O rozbor těchto partií se stará šachový motor, který komunikuje přes standard Win/XBoard. Šachový motor generuje alternativní tahy v dané pozici a nabízí je hráči k zamyšlení. Aplikace také podporuje standard FEN. V úvodních kapitolách práce jsou rozebrány použité prostředky, základy šachu a podrobněji existující typy šachové notace. V dalších částech práce rozebírám jednotlivé existující šachové standardy, jejich návrh a mou implementaci v programu. Ve zbytku práce se nachází popis navržených a implementovaných částí programu, jako je jeho grafická podoba či podpůrné postranní panely. V poslední kapitole popisuji server, který propojuje všechny aktuální hráče.The work deals with creating of application for teaching chess. Teaching methods include not only play against the computer, but also a network play against the player or computer. It is also created the support to use chess diagrams. The program support existing playing games in standard PGN format. A chess engine is responsible for analysis of these games and it communicates via standard Win / XBoard. The Chess engine generates alternative moves in a given position and provides the player to think about. The application also supports standard FEN. In the opening chapters of this work are discussed used tools, the basics of chess and more detail existing types of chess notation. In other parts of the work I analyze an existing individual chess standards, theirs design and theirs implementation in my program. In the rest of the work I describe designed and implemented parts of the program, such as its graphic design and supporting side panels. In the last chapter I describe the server that connects all the current players.

Modelling of Local Plasmon Resonances

Tato práce je věnována plasmonovým rezonančním systémům. V první části se zabývá analytickým a numerickým popisem chování povrchových plazmonových polaritonů na kovových anténkách v blízkosti rohu. Druhá část této práce je věnována simulacím rozptylu světla na Ga vrchlících deponovaných na Si substrátu. Na závěr jsou uvedeny možnosti měření rezonancí systémů pomocí metody SNOM.This Bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to plasmon resonance systems. The first part deals with the analytical and numerical description of behaviour of the surface plasmon polaritons in the edge proximity of metal antennas. The second part is devoted to the simulations of dispersion of light on Ga cap deposited on Si substrate. Possibilities of measurements of the resonance with the SNOM method is mentioned at the end.

Node localization on the Internet using domain name system

Tato práce popisuje různé systémy, které slouží k predikci zpoždění mezi stanicemi. Zaměřuje se jak na systémy využívající k predikci zpoždění umělých souřadnicových systémů, tak na systémy, které využívají fyzická měření zpoždění. Primárně se však zabývá metodou King, která k predikci zpoždění využívá systém pro překlad doménových jmen DNS (Domain Name System). Dále je podrobně nastíněn princip metody King. Praktická část zahrnuje popis dvou vytvořených simulací v programu Matlab. První popisovaná simulace ukazuje princip metody King. Druhá simulace má poté za úkol vytvořit 2D geometrický prostor, ve kterém jsou náhodně generovány uzly a DNS servery. Jejím výsledkem je závislost přesnosti predikce RTT na počtu náhodně generovaných DNS serverů. Na základě této závislosti je metoda King v závěru porovnána s dalšími metodami.This paper describes various systems that are used to predict delay among nodes . It focuses on systems using for prediction delay artificial coordinate systems, and on the systems, which use physical measurements of delay. Primarily, however, it deals with the King method, which uses the system for translation of domain names - DNS (Domain Name System) to predict the delay. Next, the principle of the King method is outlined in detail. Practical part includes a description of the two created simulations in program Matlab. The first application described simulates the King method principle. The second simulation is then tasked with creating 2D geometric space in which nodes and DNS servers are randomly generated. The result is dependence of RTT prediction accuracy on the number of randomly generated DNS servers. Based on this dependency the method King is compared with other methods in the end.

Screw pumps

Práce obsahuje základní poznatky o vřetenových (šroubových) čerpadlech. Práce se nejprve zabývá hydrostatickými převodníky. Popisuje rozdělení hydrostatických převodníků, základní informace, účel, výpočtové vztahy a jejich charakteristiky. Poté se věnuje rozdělení vřetenových čerpadel, jejich konstrukci, principu jak fungují a využití. Na konci práce je odvození rovnic pro výpočet dvouvřetenového čerpadla s lichoběžníkovým závitem a vykreslení diagramů z těchto rovnic. Následně je proveden výpočet dvouvřetenového čerpadla pro zadané hodnoty.This work gives basic information about screw pumps. The work is about hydrostatic convertors. It describes division hydrostatic convertors basic information, purpose, equations and diagrams. Then the work gives information about division of screw pumps, their construction, principle, how working and utilization. At the end of the work is derivation of equations for computation twinscrew pump with buttress thread and drawing of diagrams from these equations. Consequently is doing calculation of twin screw pump for entry data.

Texture evolution in biocompatible Mg-Y-Re alloy after friction stir processing

The presented study deals with the investigation of biocompatible WE 43 Mg-based alloy processed via the combination of rotary swaging (RS) and friction stir processing (FSP) at three different rotational speeds of 400 RPM, 800 RPM, and 1200 RPM. The structure observations primarily focused on texture development and characterizations of grain sizes and grain boundaries. The results showed that swaging plus processing at 400 RPM and 1200 RPM lead to substantial recrystallization and grain refinement. The fractions of low angle grain boundaries within the 400 RPM and 1200 RPM samples were approximately 11%, while for the 800 RPM sample exhibiting secondary recrystallization it was about 22%. The grains were also the finest in the 1200 RPM sample (average grain diameter of 1.8 mu m). The processed structures exhibited a slight tendency to form the {10-10} preferential fiber texture (especially the 800 RPM sample). Tensile testing showed the FSP to have positive influence on the ultimate tensile stress, as well as ductility of all the samples; the mechanical properties improved with increasing FSP rate.Web of Science911art. no. 118

Municipalities without elected councils : Causes of insufficient fulfilment of candidate lists in some municipalities in local elections in 2018

By means of a qualitative analysis of the sixteen municipalities in the Czech Republic in which additional elections were held in 2019, five variables were identified which may explain why additional elections occurred. For analysis, we used data from the Czech Statistical Office (municipal elections 1994 to 2019), the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic and information on individual municipalities from media analysis. We have identified the following possible variables which may affect whether additional elections are held: end of elites, non -stand as a candidate again, the end of municipal representatives, incumbent decides not to defend mandate (variable Non -defend man-date) and personal disputes within the municipality. Conversely, the financial situation of the municipality, the age of the representatives, the voter turnout in the municipal-ity, the number of voters, the number of candidate lists or associations and candidates proved inconclusive in most municipalities. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou štěrbinových antén na bázi technologie vlnovodu s mezerou, který umožňuje pracovat ve vysokých kmitočtech. Obsahuje teoretické poznatky o anténách a vlnovodech, které jsou dále využity při návrhu. Praktická část práce je soustředěna na konkrétní návrh vlnovodu s mezerou pro kmitočet 10 a 24 GHz, počínaje výpočtem rozměrů, modelováním a jeho optimalizací na požadované vlastnosti. Vlnovod s mezerou je základem pro návrh štěrbinové antény. Výsledná anténa je navržena na kmitočet 10 GHz, a to jak pro lineární polarizaci, tak pro pravotočivou kruhovou polarizaci. U antény s kruhovou polarizací byla dosažena šířka pásma cca 1,41 GHz, přičemž v tomto pásmu se zisk antény pohybuje kolem hodnoty 7,6 dB.This thesis discusses Slot antennas that are based in gap waveguide technology, which allows them to work with high frequency signals. It contains theoretical findings about antennas and waveguides, which are later used in the design. The practical section of this thesis concentrates on designing a specific gap waveguide for 10 and 24 GHz frequencies, starting with modeling and parameter optimalization. This gap waveguide is then used as a base for slot antenna design. The final antenna is designed for frequency of 10 GHz, for both linear and right-handed circular polarizations. With right-handed circular polarization, the achieved band was approximately 1.41 GHz, while the gain was 7,6 dB.

Detection of Train Axles and Their Numbering According to International Union of Railways

Práce se zabývá vytvořením systému, který by detekoval průjezd vlakového vagónu a očísloval jej dle Mezinárodní železniční unie. Na začátku práce jsou rozebrány využité metody pro správnou detekci průjezdu kola včetně časového záznamu. Také uvádím typy senzorů s jejich vlastnostmi vzhledem k využití na železnici. Rozebírám význam jednotlivých cifer v číslování dle UIC. Vytvářím návrh systému, uvádím jeho zapojení a vztahy mezi jednotlivými podsystémy. Kladu důraz na takové řešení, aby záznam o kole byl za každých okolností včasný a co nejvíce přesný. Využívám k tomu systém pracující v reálném čase. Dále verifikuji samotný měřící program, abych zajistil celkovou bezchybnost měřícího prvku systému. V následující části popisuji prototyp programu, který zpracovává data z měření. Rozepisuji algoritmy, které jsem využil pro detekci kol a následně vlakových vagónů. V navazující kapitole uvádím způsob práce s externí kamerou pro detekci čísla dle UIC. V posledních kapitolách popisuji testovací prostředí, ve kterých dané řešení bylo otestováno, a shrnuji výsledky testů na reálné vlakové trati.The diploma thesis deals with design and development of the system which detects and numbers train carriages in compliance with International Union of Railways. Firstly, methods for correct detection of passing wheel including time records are analysed. Also, the summary of detection sensors used in railway industry is referred. I analyse meaning of each digit in numbering according to the UIC. The system solution is designed and the interaction and communication with other sub-systems is discussed. I put emphasis on the kind of solution that returns as accurate record as possible under any circumstances. The system operates in real time. Further, the results of measuring program are back-tested in order to verify low-deviation of measuring system component. The following section describes program prototype, which processes the recorded data. The algorithms which I used for the detection of wheel and train carriages are described. In the following chapter I discuss the usage of an external camera detecting the numbers in accordance to the UIC. In the last chapter, I describe the test environment in which the solution has been tested, and summarize the results of tests on a real life railway.

Push-pull quasi-resonant DC/DC converter with a transformer

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou funkce a následnou realizací kvazirezonančního DC/DC měniče 300 V/ 50 V o výkonu cca 1,5 kW. Cílem práce je otestovat a popsat chování experimentálního měniče při různých provozních parametrech. V teoretické části jsou popsány rezonanční obvody, a dále přímo naše zapojení rezonančního měniče. Na základě použité topologie a simulovaného chování měniče, jsou v kapitolách 4 a 5 navrženy jednotlivé komponenty silového obvodu a jeho řídící a budící obvod. Šestá kapitola pojednává o konstrukci a oživení měniče včetně popisu jeho chování. Poslední kapitola obsahuje technickou dokumentaci.This diploma thesis deals with analysis of function and subsequent construction of a quasi-resonant DC / DC converter 300 V / 50 V for an output of about 1.5 kW. The aim of this work is to test and describe the behavior of an experimental converter at various operating parameters. In the theoretical part, resonant circuits are described, as well as our connection of the resonant converter. Based on the used topology and the simulated behavior of the converter, the individual components of the power circuit and its control and excitation circuit are designed in Chapters 4 and 5. The sixth chapter deals with the construction and testing of the converter, including a description of its behavior. The last chapter contains technical documentation.

Termination of employment

The thesis deals with termination of employment. The thesis focuses on various forms of termination of employment according to the then applicable legislation throughout history, i.e. before the enactment of the first legal regulation of Labour Law, which was Act No. 65/1965 Coll., The Labour Code, pursuant to Act No. 262/2006 Coll., the Labour Code, which replaced the above Act. Attention is given to the amendment of the Labour Code effective from January 1, 2012 which relates to arranging of a probationary period, termination of employment during the probationary period, the exceptions to the prohibition of dismissal, lengthening of the period of dismissal moderation of the court; sets a new reason for dismissal in section 52. h) of the Labour Code. This thesis also deals with the issue of termination of employment in EU countries (Finland, Belgium, Austria), namely agreement on termination of employment, dismissal and termination of employment during the probationary period. Attention is also given the comparison of Czech law with foreign law, international documents, legislation and numerous case law. In conclusion, the modified institute mass layoffs and legal documents related thereto are examined, in particular Council Directive 75/129/EEC of February 17, 1975 on the approximation of the...Rigorózní práce pojednává o pojmu pracovního poměru, dále o problematice skončení pracovního poměru podle platných právních úprav, tedy před samotným vznikem prvního právního předpisu pracovního práva, kterým byl zákon č. 65/1965 Sb., Zákoník práce, podle zákona č. 262/2006 Sb., zákoník práce, který výše uvedený předpis nahradil. Pozornost je věnována novele zákoníku práce účinné od 1. 1. 2012, která se týká sjednání zkušební doby, zrušení pracovního poměru ve zkušební době, výjimek ze zákazu výpovědi, prodloužení délky výpovědní doby, moderačního práva soudu; stanovuje nový výpovědní důvod v § 52 písm. h) zákoníku práce. V práci dále řeším vliv nového občanského zákoníku na platnou právní úpravu zákoníku práce, a to v oblasti skončení pracovního poměru. Upravena je problematika skončení pracovního poměru v zemích EU (Finsko, Belgie, Rakousko), konkrétně dohoda o skončení pracovního poměru, výpověď a skončení pracovního poměru ve zkušební době. Pozornost je také věnována srovnání české právní úpravy se zahraniční právní úpravou, mezinárodním dokumentům, právním předpisům a četné soudní judikatuře.
