Employment Relationship in Terms of Wage Costs Optimization

Bakalářská práce se věnuje pracovněprávnímu vztahu mezi zaměstnavatelem a zaměstnancem společnosti ABC, s.r.o. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány základní pojmy pracovněprávních vztahů z právního, ekonomického, daňového a účetního hlediska, které jsou dále využity v analytické části práce. Na základě analýzy stávající situace jsou navržena možná řešení problému, který spočívá v nedostatku kvalifikovaných zaměstnanců.This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between an employer and an employee in the ABC company. The theoretical part decribes the fundemental terms of employment relations from the legal, economical, tax and accounting point of view. The terms are further used in the analytic part of this thesis. On the basis of the analysis dealing with the current situation there are suggested possible solutions to the issue of a shortage of qualified employees.

Thinking of Russia : Finnish Neutrality after the Cold War and the Influence of Russian Neighborhood on Finnish Cooperation with NATO

In recent years, Finland has closely cooperated with NATO and Finnish politicians emphasize that Finland may consider joining the Alliance at any point. However, this step is unlikely in the foreseeable future. Russia’s aggressive actions abroad disconcert Finland; as this article shows, even after Russia’s war with Georgia and the breakout of the crisis in Ukraine, the situation is not deemed serious enough by the Finns for them to risk a serious deterioration of relations with their eastern neighbor. Rather than crossing the interests of Moscow, whose perception of the world Finland has been able uniquely to understand thanks to its historical experience, the country opts for a more complex, yet also safer, path of balancing between ever-closer cooperation with NATO, and maintaining the status of a non-member country

The Effects of Subchronic Exposure to Terbuthylazine on Early Developmental Stages of Common Carp

The aim of this study was to assess the impact of terbuthylazine in surface waters on fish under experimental conditions. Subchronic toxic effects on embryos and larvae of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) were investigated during a 30-day toxicity test. The exposure to terbuthylazin showed no effect on mortality, but significant differences (P < 0.0001) were revealed on weight and growth parameters at concentrations of 520 and 820 μg/L. The inhibition of specific growth rate at concentrations of 520 and 820 μg/L was 14% compared to the control group. No significant negative effects on total body length and body weight were observed at lower concentrations (0.9 and 160 μg/L). The concentrations 520 and 820 μg/L were associated with a delay in development compared to other experimental groups and controls. On the basis of weight and growth rate evaluation and determination of developmental stages, the No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC) of terbuthylazine was estimated at 160 μg/L and the Lowest Observed Effect Concentration (LOEC) was 520 μg/L. According to these results, the reported environmental concentration of terbuthylazine in Czech rivers does not impact growth, development, morphology, or histology of carp embryos and larvae

Vliv neoliberalizmu a tradic evropského města na proměny managementu velkých urbanistických projektů v západoevropských a postsocialistických městech

The article compares changes in the management of major urban projects in Western European and post-socialist cities. It examines their project management methods and project objectives and sheds light on the impact of neoliberal policies. Attention is paid to the presence of pro-social; or, more precisely, public interest project measures that demonstrate whether the cities are successful in promoting non-commercial objectives, or whether they are better left to market mechanisms. Although the management of West European projects is criticized as being overly neoliberal, it can be shown, by using the example of European cities, that their social background is still strong. This finding is contrasted with the situation of post-socialist cities whose predominantly liberal urban policies are now becoming more socially oriented.52955
