Considerando que as Ciências Jurídicas se adaptam às necessidades do meio social, certos temas merecem uma reflexão mais aprofundada. A retificação do nome civil pelas pessoas trans vem ganhando espaço nas discussões jurídicas na contemporaneidade. Condições estigmatizantes geram sofrimento e acentuam a discriminação aos indivíduos que assim se expressam. Ainda não existe manifestação uníssona nas três esferas do poder (Executivo, Legislativo e Judiciário) em relação à população trans, acentuando a insegurança e ausência de direitos e a vulnerabilidade. Por meio da análise qualitativa do Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES, dos programas de pós-graduação de Direito, entre os anos de 2009 até 2019, este trabalho busca entender como as Ciências jurídicas têm fomentado a discussão sobre o reconhecimento do nome social como um ato de construção de identidade, cidadania e garantia de direitos

Anti-viral effects of medicinal plants in the management of dengue: a systematic review

Background: Dengue is considered as an important arboviral disease. Safe, low-cost, and effective drugs that possess inhibitory activity against dengue virus (DENV) are mostly needed to try to combat the dengue infection worldwide. Medicinal plants have been considered as an important alternative to manage several diseases, such as dengue. As authors have demonstrated the antiviral effect of medicinal plants against DENV, the aim of this study was to review systematically the published research concerning the use of medicinal plants in the management of dengue using the PubMed database.Materials and Methods: Search and selection of publications were made using the PubMed database following the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA statement).Results: Six publications met the inclusion criteria and were included in the final selection after thorough analysis.Conclusion: It is suggested that medicinal plants’ products could be used as potential anti-DENV agents.Keywords: Dengue, arbovirus, medicinal plants, PubMe

EFFECT OF MECHANICAL VIBRATION GENERATED IN OSCILLATING/VIBRATORY PLATFORM ON THE CONCENTRATION OF PLASMA BIOMARKERS AND ON THE WEIGHT IN RATS.

Background: Whole body vibration (WBV) exercise has been used in health sciences. Authors have reported that changes on the concentration of plasma biomarkers could be associated with the WBV effects. The aim of this investigation is to assess the consequences of exposition of 25 Hz mechanical vibration generated in oscillating/vibratory platform (OVP) on the concentration of some plasma biomarkers and on the weight of rats. Materials and Methods: Wistar rats were divided into two groups. The animals of the Experimental Group (EG) were submitted to vibration (25 Hz) generated in an OVP with four bouts of 30 seconds with rest time of 60 seconds between the bouts. Aleitamento materno exclusivo por mães vegetarianas e suas possíveis implicações para a criança

It is known that the period of life between pregnancy and the childs two years of age is critical for the promotion of growth and development, which makes adequate nutrition essential for the complete potential development of each human being. In this sense, the present study aims to discuss the peculiarities of exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months of life of the infant by vegetarian mothers and its possible implications for the child. This is a narrative review based on the evaluation of protocols by the Brazilian Vegetarian Society, Brazilian Society of Pediatrics and Society of Pediatrics of São Paulo, as well as articles comprised between 1982 and 2020, available in online databases. Human milk contains lipids, vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, immunoglobulin A, interferon, enzymes, and growth modulators. This composition is generally similar when comparing vegetarian and non-vegetarian breast milk, however it differs quantitatively. In view of this, in the case of exclusive breastfeeding by vegetarian mothers, medical evaluation is necessary to determine whether there is a need for nutritional supplementation, especially vitamin B12, iron and omega-3. In cases where breastfeeding is not possible, an alternative is infant formulas based on soy or rice.
