The prevalence and peculiarities of the clinical course of periodontal tissue diseases in persons with primary hypothyroidism
The article presents the results of clinical dental examination of persons with primary hypothyroidism. The analysis of the research showed that they have a high prevalence of periodontal tissue diseases (93.25%), which was manifested by the development of inflammatory and, to a greater extent, inflammatory and dystrophic lesions of its tissues, which occurred in a chronic latent form
Розповсюдженість та особливості клінічних проявів захворювань тканин пародонта у хворих на хронічний панкреатит
This paper presents the results of a study of periodontal status in patients with chronic pancreatitis. The study established the high prevalence of periodontal disease in individuals with chronic pancreatitis.The disease manifested itself in a form of generalized chronic catarrhal gingivitis and chronic generalized periodontitis of mild and moderate degrees.В статье представлены результаты обследования пародонтологического статуса у больных хроническим панкреатитом. Проведенное исследование установило высокую распространенность заболеваний тканей пародонта у лиц на фоне хронического панкреатита. Заболевания проявлялись в виде хронического генерализованного катарального гингивита и хронического генерализованного пародонтита легкой и средней степени тяжести.У статті представлені результати обстеження пародонтологічного статусу у хворих на хронічний панкреатит. Проведене дослідження встановило високу розповсюдженість захворювань тканин пародонта в осіб на тлі хронічного панкреатиту. Захворювання проявлялись у вигляді хронічного генералізованого катарального гінгівіту та хронічного генералізованого пародонтиту легкого і середнього ступеня тяжкості

Резюме: В статті висвітлено результати дослідження біохімічних маркерів кісткового метаболізму у хворих на первинний гіпотиреоз. Доведено, що у осіб на тлі первинного гіпотиреозу, захворювання пародонта супроводжується вираженим зниженням процесів ремоделювання в кістковій тканині альвеолярного відростка щелеп.

Резюме: В статье представлены результаты исследования биохимических маркеров костного метаболизма у больных на первичный гипотиреоз. Доказано, что у лиц на фоне первичного гипотиреоза, заболевания пародонта сопровождаются выраженным снижением процесов ремоделирования в костной ткани альвеолярнрго отростка челюсти.

It is proved that the people on the background of primary hypothyroidism, periodontal disease is accompanied by a pronounced decline in remodeling processes in bone tissue alveolar process of the jaws.

Luminescent converters based on nanocellulose + K3Tb(PO4)2:Eu composite films
The advantages of cellulose and its derivatives as the latest materials for devices that generate, store, and convert electricity are their low cost, environmental friendliness, ease of recycling and the ability to be manufactured in various ways and from various raw materials, including agricultural waste. This predetermines the relevance of their study as materials for modern technology and electronics. The research aims to determine the luminescent characteristics of composite films made based on nanocellulose and polycrystalline oxide K3Tb0.9Eu0.1(PO4)2. Optical microscopy and the spectral-luminescence method were used to characterise the films and their initial components. It was found that crystallites with an average size of about 50mm are distributed quite evenly in the film “nanocellulose+K3Tb0.9Eu0.1(PO4)2”. A Raman scattering band with a maximum of 564 nm under laser excitation at 473 nm was observed for the investigated samples in the form of suspensions. The intensity of photoluminescence of nanocellulose in suspension and films is low compared to the luminescence of oxide as a filler. The luminescence of Eu3+ ions is intense in the red region of the spectrum. The calculated values of the degree of asymmetry indicate low symmetry of the positions occupied by europium ions in the oxide and the contribution of Tb3+ ion emission to the overall spectrum of the composite film. The study results show that the luminescence of Eu3+ ions is sensitised by Tb3+ ions, which absorb the excitation light and then transfer energy to europium ions. The position of the absorption bands of Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions in the ultraviolet region of the spectrum and the intense emission of Eu3+ in the red region indicates the prospects of using nanocellulose+ K3Tb0.9Eu0.1(PO4)2 films to improve the efficiency of solar panels. Testing of the films under the excitation of luminescence by ultraviolet radiation of an LED (λex=375 nm) showed the possibility of developing white LEDs on their basis. In particular, the chromaticity coordinates of the uncoated LED were (x=0.214; y=0.079), and the use of a film composite as a coating causes a shift in the coordinates to the red region: x=0.304, y=0.196. The obtained results on the morphology and luminescent properties can be used to optimise the composition and manufacturing conditions of composite films of the following types “nanocellulose+K3Tb0.9Eu0.1(PO4)2” for use as fluorescent converters in LEDs or solar panel
Synthesis and Luminescence Properties of Pr³⁺-Doped BiPO₄ Polycrystals
The results of synthesis, crystal structure characterization and luminescence properties study of the Pr³⁺-doped bismuth orthophosphate, BiPO₄, polycrystals are reported. It was found that doping of bismuth orthophosphate with praseodymium of concentration more than 1% leads to phase transition of BiPO₄ from so-called "high-temperature monoclinic" to "low-temperature monoclinic" structure. At room temperature studied samples revealed intensive red luminescence caused by radiation electronic transitions in the Pr³⁺ ions under their intrinsic f → f excitation at ³H₄→ ³P₁+¹I₆ absorption transition. Influence of phase transformation as well as multi-phonon and cross-relaxation processes on the luminescence of the Pr³⁺-doped BiPO₄ compounds were discussed
