Persistent currents in n-fold twisted Moebius strips
We investigate the influence of the topology on generic features of the
persistent current in n-fold twisted Moebius strips formed of quasi
one--dimensional mesoscopic rings, both for free electrons and in the weakly
disordered regime. We find that there is no generic difference between the
persistent current for untwisted rings and for Moebius strips with an arbitrary

Electrical and ultraviolet characterization of 4H-SiC Schottky photodiodes
Fabrication and electrical and optical characterization of 4H-SiC Schottky UV photodetectors with nickel silicide interdigitated contacts is reported. Dark capacitance and current measurements as a function of applied voltage over the temperature range 20 °C â 120 °C are presented. The results show consistent performance among devices. Their leakage current density, at the highest investigated temperature (120 °C), is in the range of nA/cm2 at high internal electric field. Properties such as barrier height and ideality factor are also computed as a function of temperature. The responsivities of the diodes as functions of applied voltage were measured using a UV spectrophotometer in the wavelength range 200 nm - 380 nm and compared with theoretically calculated values. Quartic Anomalous Couplings in Colliders
We study the production of gauge boson pairs at the next generation of linear
colliders operating in the mode. The processes (, , or and or )
can give valuable information on possible deviations of the quartic vector
boson couplings from the Standard Model predictions. We establish the range of
the new couplings that can be explored in these colliders based on a
effect in the total cross section. We also present several kinematical
distributions of the final state particles that could manifest the underlying
new dynamics. Our results show that an collider can extend
considerably the bounds on anomalous interactions coming from oblique radiative

A Detailed Analysis of One-loop Neutrino Masses from the Generic Supersymmetric Standard Model
In the generic supersymmetric standard model which had no global symmetry
enforced by hand, lepton number violation is a natural consequence.
Supersymmetry, hence, can be considered the source of experimentally demanded
beyond standard model properties for the neutrinos. With an efficient
formulation of the model, we perform a comprehensive detailed analysis of all

Graviton plus vector boson production to NLO in QCD at the LHC
We present the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the associated
production of the vector gauge boson () and the graviton in the large
extra dimension model at the LHC. We estimate the impact of the QCD corrections
on the total cross sections as well as the differential distributions of the
gauge bosons and find that they are significant. We also study the dependence
of the cross sections on the arbitrary factorization scale and show the
reduction in the scale uncertainties at NLO level. Further, we discuss the
ultraviolet sensitivity of the theoretical predictions.Comment: 51 pages and 27 figure
PDF and scale uncertainties of various DY distributions in ADD and RS models at hadron colliders
In the extra dimension models of ADD and RS we study the dependence of the
various parton distribution functions on observable of Drell-Yan process to NLO
in QCD at LHC and Tevatron energies. Uncertainties at LHC due to factorisation
scales in going from leading to next-to-leading order in QCD for the various
distributions get reduced by about 2.75 times for a range . Further uncertainties arising from the error on experimental

Density pertubation of unparticle dark matter in the flat Universe
The unparticle has been suggested as a candidate of dark matter. We
investigated the growth rate of the density perturbation for the unparticle
dark matter in the flat Universe. First, we consider the model in which
unparticle is the sole dark matter and find that the growth factor can be
approximated well by , where is
the equation of state of unparticle. Our results show that the presence of
modifies the behavior of the growth factor . For the second model
where unparticle co-exists with cold dark matter, the growth factor has a new
approximation and
is a function of . Thus the growth factor of unparticle is quite
different from that of usual dark matter. These information can help us know
