Analysis of the Application of Accounting Information Systems of Cash Receipt on the Rsia Kasih Ibu Manado

The accounting information system on cash receipt is an information system that is important to improve the quality and performance of a hospital. The application of the supervision/control system in an organization will provide many benefits to the management in running the business, as well as to maintain the existence of the company in facing competitors. This study aims to analyze the application of cash receipts accounting information systems at RSIA Kasih Ibu Manado. RSIA Kasih Ibu, is one of the agencies that deal with health services for mothers and children. The method used is descriptive method. The results shows, the accounting information systems, especially cash receipts on the RSIA Kasih Ibu has been in accordance with the basic elements of accounting information systems. This is evident by the existence of good records and adequate internal control. It is recommended that the accounting information system in the financial department computerized information system is implemented in accordance with the required accounting information systems also maintain and improve the information system that has been implemented, so that the hospital can have a good quality in service, administration and finance. Keywords: accounting information systems, cash receipt

Real-Time Study of Interactions between Cytosine–Cytosine Pairs in DNA Oligonucleotides and Silver Ions Using Dual Polarization Interferometry

    No full text
The real-time conformational changes of cytosine (C)-rich ssDNA oligonucleotides upon binding with silver ions (Ag+) were studied using dual polarization interferometry (DPI). Upon the addition of Ag+, Ag+ selectively bound to cytosine–cytosine mismatches and formed C–Ag+–C complexes, inducing change of the structure of the C-rich ssDNA from random coil conformation to duplex conformation, whereas the control ssDNA without cytosine–cytosine mismatches had no such signal, which was consistent with circular dichroism (CD) characterization. The conformational change of DNA was reflected on the changes of the mass, thickness, and density values resolved by DPI. The calibration curves showed that as the concentration of Ag+ increased from 10 nM to 8 μM, the thickness and mass values increased linearly while the density values decreased linearly. Other metal ions such as K+, Ca2+, Na+, Mg2+, Zn2+, Mn2+, Ni2+, and Pb2+ did not interfere with the interaction between Ag+ and C-rich ssDNA, indicating that this method had a good selectivity. The practical application of this biosensor was also investigated in real samples such as drinking water. Besides, cysteine could specifically capture Ag+ from C–Ag+–C complexes and transformed the structure of the C-rich DNA back from rigid double-stranded conformation to random coil conformation, which allowed cysteine to be detected selectively as well. It is expected that this biosensing strategy may be utilized to study the interaction of DNA with other molecules

Expanding the Anti-Stokes Shift of TTA-UC to 1.04 eV by Chemical Tuning of BODIPY-Based Organic Photosensitizers

    No full text
A series of BODIPY-derivatives B-1 ∼ B-5 were synthesized as metal-free photosensitizers in triplet–triplet annihilation (TTA) upconversion (UC) with the purpose of finely tuning the excited state properties to reduce the energy loss during intersystem crossing (ISC), and hence to expand the anti-Stokes shift of TTA-UC. It was revealed that B-5 showed a ΔEST of as small as 0.28 eV, thus, providing a large anti-Stokes shift of 1.04 eV in TTA-UC with organic sensitizers. A deep red-blue upconversion emission with UC quantum yields of up to 10.7% (out of a 50% maximum) was observed

Data_Sheet_1_Comparative assessment of Cucurbita moschata seed polypeptides toward the protection of human skin cells against oxidative stress-induced aging.docx

Skin aging has attracted much attention among the current aging population of society. The seeds of Cucurbita moschata possess a variety of potential biological activities as a healthy diet. However, limited information is available on the skin-antiaging properties of C. moschata seed protein and its hydrolysate. Herein, we developed a novel strategy for protecting human skin cells against oxidative stress-induced aging by C. moschata seed polypeptides. C. moschata seed polypeptides (CSPs) with different molecular weight distributions were successfully prepared by controlling the protease hydrolysis time. The proportions of 2O2-induced aging of HSF cells. To explain this phenomenon, cell lifespan, intracellular ROS level, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, and glutathione (GSH) content were investigated to reveal the interactions between P-3 and antiaging. With the increase in P-3 concentration, the ROS level significantly decreased, and the SOD activity and GSH content significantly increased in H2O2-induced HSF cells. These findings indicated that CSPs have the potential to inhibit skin aging, which could be advantageous in the health industry for providing personal care.</p
