    Get PDF
The research carried out in Olt County regarding invasive and potentially invasive alogen plant species is a necessary step in order to complete the information on their distribution at the national level. The data obtained will be able to be used for a careful monitoring of these plants and the adoption of the necessary management measures regarding the eradication or prevention of their introduction and spread. In this sense, an inventory of invasive and potentially invasive plant species identified on the territory of Olt county is presented, with information on the geographical origin, life form, biological form, an assessment of the degree of invasiveness, chorological data, habitat, as well as aspects related to the impact they exert on native vegetation, human health or the economy. The preliminary analysis of the list of invasive and potentially invasive alogen plants identified in Olt County highlights, in particular, the presence of some species of concern for the European Union (such as Ailanthus altissima, Asclepias syriaca and Elodea nuttallii). Besides these, the most widespread invasive species found in Olt county are Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Robinia pseudoacacia, Morus alba, Amorpha fruticosa, Acer negundo, Amaranthus retroflexus, Erigeron annuus, E. canadensis, Lycium barbarum, Sorghum halepense, Xanthium orientale subsp.italicum. It is well known that the impact of invasive species on the environment, the economy and in some situations even on human health is major and that is why these organisms must be subject to an extensive and continuous monitoring process. Also, in order to control the introduction and spread of invasive and potentially invasive species, a series of appropriate management measures are required

Reduce the loss of fluid and decrease environmental impact due to thephenomenon of drift, at the same time with a high biological efficiency of pulverization wasone of the major problems of the technology of spraying treatments. For this reason theywere designed and constructed spraying devices able to significantly reduce the loss ofliquid

THE DESIGN AND REALIZATION OF A CONTROL SCHEME FOR A TRANSPORT SYSTEM WITH TRAILERS USED IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY

    Get PDF
Given the diversity of products that need to be transported into the food processing industry, transporting with trailers on narrow rail can be used successfully in case of granular solid materials, or in the form of units (in cold or hot state), and also for the unit tasks.Transporting with trailers on the narrow track takes the advantage of a securityoperation, with minimum costs, higher travel speeds (6...8 km/h), as well as of a high reliability. Transport of materials also can be run over longer distances (compared with conveyors or roller) and on combined paths (rectilinear and curvilinear).Trail transport and can travel also on a system of single rail guides (the trail being designed with a central shaft), thus allowing installation of guides on the nearest wall and eliminating the necessary support systems in the production hall. Downloading the material of conveyance can be done through a funnel located at the bottom of trail transport (with the help of two valves operated by a hydraulic cylinder, or by means of a rotating system)

THE DEVELOPMENT OF ORGANIC FARMING IN THE EU AND IN ROMANIA- BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR REDUCING THE RISKS AND THE HAZARDS THAT OCCUR IN THE FOODS PRODUCTION

In the last years, in Romania, organic farming has experienced a strong development; are becoming more and more in conversion organic operators or operators that are certificates-knew how to capitalize on the rich agricultural potential of Romania. One of the greatest results produced by organic agriculture is the obtained quality for food as raw materials, raw materials that can develop the innocuous foods and functional foods. The environmental protection and the conservation of biodiversity are other big important issues that characterize the organic agriculture system. This paper is a synthesis that aims to evident the organizational settled of this area of Romania, the main requirements imposed on manufacturers and the updated changes in organic agriculture, and the big connection that exists between the risk management systems applicable in organic farming systems and specific food safety management

SOLIDWORKS 3D PARAMETRIC MODELLING TECHNIQUE FOR ROOT CUTTING EQUIPMENT DECLINING GROWTH OF SHOOTS IN ORCHARDS

    Get PDF
This work was focused, by using computer aided engineering application (SolidWorks) and structural simulation (SolidWorks SIMULATION), on obtaining a technical and economic strength indicator used in the analysis of metallic material choice from which is made active body large diameter disc knife type, that equips the technical equipment for soil tillage on trees row, while cuttings root for moderating growth of shoots and precision foliar fertilization. For this purpose, on the 3D parametric modeling were selected from the software library various metallic materials, followed by finite element analysis (FEA) which was carried out to simulate the distributions of stress and strain on the body active. Based on the resulting data, were determined the reports price- coefficient of resistance for the materials analyzed. Comparing these indicators led to the selection of a material that has high resistance under a price as low as possible. Analysis based on technical and economic choice of a metallic material reduces the time validation of the design, by eliminating the realization and physical testing, and allows management to determine the existing resources in the company in order to use their total for achieve economic and financial results as high

Experimental research on obtaining pelletized feed recipes with applicability in semi-intensive aquaculture systems

    No full text
Romanian aquaculture can be economically sustainable and viable if the farm is profitable, the farm's income is secure, and the products are accepted by customers. In many cases, improving environmental sustainability can lead to optimizing economic sustainability. For example, a more efficient use of food and nutrients or reduced water and energy consumption are not only beneficial for the environment, but can also reduce costs. Growth in polyculture system, which represents the growth of several species of fish in the same space (pond, pool, basin, etc.), and diversification of supply can increase consumer confidence and thus economic sustainability. The diet must provide the fish with the nutrients necessary for growth (proteins with a plastic role) and provide the energy necessary for physiological processes. Quality food ensures good development, facilitates reproduction and prevents extremely harmful diseases in an aquaculture system. The paper presents a series of experimental recipes for pelletized feed made using an experimental model of small capacity. Nutrient pellets made for feeding fish from the Cyprinid family were analyzed in terms of gross energy value, ash content, moisture, mechanical durability over time, bulk density etc

Research on the Identification of Some Optimal Threshing and Separation Regimes in the Axial Flow Apparatus

    Get PDF
Starting from the influencing parameters of threshing and separation and implicit seed losses that occur within this process, this paper searched for and identified the optimal threshing regimes to minimize losses depending on the process parameters. The evacuation losses (pev) depend on threshing rotor speed (n) and implicit rotor peripheral speed (vp), material feed speed (va), the space between the rotor and counter-rotor (δ), material feed flow (Q), material density (ρ), and the length of the threshing apparatus (L). As the parameters ρ and L are constant, the variation of losses in relation to each of the arguments was followed: vp, Q, ρ, and va, respectively, for the minimization of losses by the variation of the loss function by two arguments each (represented graphically); the four arguments targeted being: vp, va, ρ, and Q. Using these input parameters, it was possible to determine the optimal threshing regimes for the variation of losses in relation to the rotor peripheral speed, the feed flow, the space between the rotor and the counter-rotor, and the feed speed, so as to obtain a seed separation percentage (Ss) as close as possible to 100% (and implicitly the smallest threshing losses—towards zero) in relation to these parameters
