    Fast dissolving tablets are getting more importance as it has advantages over conventional tablets and liquid dosage form. Problems like dysphasia, swallowing, shocking are not seen with fast dissolving tablets. As it mixes rapidly as comes in contact with saliva. Direct compression method is the most common, simple, less step and low cost methods. Fast dissolving tablets preparation i.e based on many techniques like spray drying, sublimation, melt granulation, lyophilization, mass extrusion etc and by addition of superdisintegrant.     Synthesis of apatite-type Ce4.67(SiO4)3O via glycinenitrate combustion

    The pure Ce4.67(SiO4)3O with the apatite-type of structure was obtained for the first time from cerium nitrate, glycine and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) through the self-combustion of the gel. The solution of the reactants with the molar ratio of TEOS to water 1: 42 and glycine to NO3 ¯ 1: 3 was transformed into gel. During combustion of the gel the ash containing nanostructured CeO2 and noncrystalline SiO2 was formed. The phase identification and the measurement of the crystallite size was done by XRD diffraction.     Le syndrome de rOSaï DOrFman ou histiocytose sinusale avec lymphadénopathie massive est une maladie rare d’étiologie inconnue, peut se voir à tout âge, l’enfant n’étant pas épargné. nous rapportons le cas d’un enfant de 4 ans avec multiples adénopathies cervicales bilatérales. Le diagnostic a été confirmé par la biopsie ganglionnaire. Une corticothérapie a été instaurée avec régression partielle des adénopathies. La discussion portera sur le profil clinique, histologique et thérapeutique de cette maladie.Mots clés : syndrome de rosai Dorfman , enfant , traitementSinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy or Destombes – rosai – Dorfman ‘s syndrome is a rare disease of unknown etiology. all ages are affected, including child. The case reported concerned a 4 years old boy with bilateral cervical lymphadenopathy.     Geographical information retrieval with ontologies of place

    Geographical context is required of many information retrieval tasks in which the target of the search may be documents, images or records which are referenced to geographical space only by means of place names. Often there may be an imprecise match between the query name and the names associated with candidate sources of information. There is a need therefore for geographical information retrieval facilities that can rank the relevance of candidate information with respect to geographical closeness of place as well as semantic closeness with respect to the information of interest. Here we present an ontology of place that combines limited coordinate data with semantic and qualitative spatial relationships between places. This parsimonious model of geographical place supports maintenance of knowledge of place names that relate to extensive regions of the Earth at multiple levels of granularity. The ontology has been implemented with a semantic modelling system linking non-spatial conceptual hierarchies with the place ontology. An hierarchical spatial distance measure is combined with Euclidean distance between place centroids to create a hybrid spatial distance measure. This is integrated with thematic distance, based on classification semantics, to create an integrated semantic closeness measure that can be used for a relevance ranking of retrieved objects

    Lipophilic derivatives of vitamin C are additives with antioxidant properties, attractive for application in food, cosmetics and pharmaceutics. They could be synthesized in lipase-catalyzed processes by using various acyl donors. Hereby, we present application of linoleic acid, which is polyunsaturated fatty acid essential in human nutrition, for esterification of vitamin C catalyzed by immobilized enzyme preparation Novozym® 435 in acetone. Highest specific ester yield, 9.7 mmol/g of immobilized lipase, was accomplished with 0.15 M of vitamin C, 0.6 M of linoleic acid, 3 g/l of enzyme and 0.07% (v/v) of water, at 60°C. NMR analyses of purified product proved that synthesized molecule was identical to 6-O-ascorbyl linoleate. Capacity of ester for scavenging 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radicals was two times higher comparing to parent molecule, vitamin C. Its diffusion coefficient, determined using Franz cell and cellulose acetate membrane, was 40% higher than palmitate and 62% higher than oleate. Obtained results showed that L-ascorbyl linoleate could be successfully synthesized in biocatalyzed processes. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that it possess high potential for application in different lipophilic products due to its liposolubility, high antioxidant efficiency and good diffusion properties.Lipofilni derivati vitamina C su aditivi sa antioksidativnim dejstvom pogodni za primenu u prehrambenim, kozmetičkim i farmaceutskim proizvodima. Mogu biti sintetisani u procesima katalizovanim lipazama korišćenjem različitih acil-donora. U ovom radu, opisana je primena linolne kiseline, polinezasićene masne kiseline esencijalne u ljudskoj ishrani, u esterifikaciji vitamina C katalizovanoj imobilisanim enzimskim preparatom Novozym® 435 u acetonu. Najviši specifični prinos estra od 9,7 mmol/g imobilisane lipaze, ostvaren je sa 0,15 M vitamina C, 0,6 M linolne kiseline, 3 g/l enzima i 0,07 zapr. % vode, na 60°C. NMR analize prečišćenog proizvoda dokazale su da je sintetisani molekul identičan 6-O-askorbil-linolatu. Kapacitet estra za vezivanje 2,2- difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil radikala bio je dva puta viši u odnosu na sam vitamin C. Njegov koeficijent difuzije, određen korišćenjem Franz-ove ćelije i celuloza-acetatne membrane, bio je za 40% viši u odnosu na palmitat i za 62% u odnosu na oleat. Ostvareni rezultati pokazali su da L-askorbil-linolat može uspešno biti sintetisan u biokatalizovanom procesu. Pored toga, dokazano je da ovaj estar poseduje značajan potencijal za primenu u različitim lipofilnim proizvodima zbog svoje liposolubilnosti, snažnog antioksidativnog dejstva i pogodnih difuzionih karakteristika
