This study aims to determine the effects of physical activity on age equality locomotor, age equivalents object control and gross motor skills. The Study was conducted in two phases. Phase 1 of the study was descriptive in nature, involving 120 preschool children (B = 60, G = 60) was six years old. As for Phase 2, subjects consisted of preschool children in a government school in Bandar Seremban preschool, aged six years old who were learning Physical and Aesthetic through the National Pre-School Curriculum Standard (KSPK). Size study sample consisted of 50 preschool children (B = 32, G = 18), and sampling method is convenience sampling. The instrument used in this study is a Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) developed by Ulrich (2000). Data obtained through motor ability tests cover six locomotor tests and six object control tests. MANOVA analysis and MANCOVA were used to determine the effects of an intervention program to control the pre-test. Findings: Based on the Phase 1 the study found that the level of gross motor development of preschool children between three preschools are not equivalent to the age of locomotor and object control. A government preschool selected for Phase 2 because the findings of means for gross motor skills are low compared with the mean score for the gross motor skills for KEMAS and private group students. The findings of the analysis of Phase 2 of the pre-test and control treatment groups reported a significant difference in the mean gross motor skills [F (3,46) = 4.99; p 0.05, eta squared = .041]. The tests showed traces of physical activity significantly to the gross motor skills of preschool children. There are significant differences in the mean gross motor development [F (3,46) = 11,296; p <0.05, eta squared = .424] between the control and treatment groups. Univariate F test analysis showed a significant difference in post-test scores for the dependent variable AEL [F (1,48) = 21,324; p <0.05, eta squared = .308], AEM [(1,48) = 24.71; p <0.05, eta squared = .340], and GMDQ [F (1,48) = 20,215; p <0.05, eta squared = .296], and for the treatment and control groups. Discussion: The overall level of motor development of preschool children are at a low level. The results support the intervention program that uses the module physical activity can help improve gross motor skills of children treated group

Communication skill becomes one of the parameters in determining the success of students learning improvement. The learning process has to be meaningful for the students in order to apply the results and experiences in the real situation. The Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is comprehensive learning which connects the learning material to real life. It aims to make the students able to implement it in real life (in family, school, neighborhood, people, workforces, and citizen context). The learning process is supported by learning devices. This research aims to describe the students’ communication skill on the topic of environmental pollution through CTI learning model. This research is a research and devices development with steps that modify the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research occurred on January – October 2018 at MTs Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama Palangka Raya. The communication skill data was obtained on the field test which was done by calculating the average results of communication skill indicators when the students were doing the student worksheet in groups. The data analysis was done through descriptive quantitative. The results showed that: the communication skills consist of (1) the ability to work in groups, (2) the ability to communicate verbally (delivering ideas/notions/comments), (3) the ability to ask questions, (4) the ability to answer the questions (giving explanations) and (5) the ability to value ideas, suggestions, and friends’ opinions are reaching very good category.  Article visualizations

Isolation and Phenotypic Characterisation of Morphology in Fungus Beauveria Bassiana (Balsamo) Vuillemin Colony Naturally From Leaf Surface, Soil, and Insect as Host in Tomato Plantation

Virulence of fungus Beauveria bassiana as pathogen on insect can be predicted according to phenotypic character in colony morphology. First of all, isolates of three different habitats were taken. Furthermore, their phenotypic characters was further characterised in B. bassiana colony and the colony growth rate was also monitored. The three natural habitats comprised insects, soil in tomato plantation and the surface of tomato leaves. The result showed that B bassiana isolate managed to be isolated from the three natural habitats involving larva Spodoptera litura and Helicoverpa armigera, the soil, and surface of tomato leaves. B bassiana isolate of insect habitat represented phenotype in colony morphology with curved character, while isolate of the leaves\u27 surface and soil indicated phenotype in colony morphology with raised and bowl-shaped character. In addition to the colony characters, varied growth rate was also indicated by isolate from each habitat. Isolate of insect with curved colony character represented higher growth rate than that of the leaves\u27 surface or the soil with raised and bowl-shaped colony character. The colony with curved character represented phenotypic character of isolate B bassiana with high growth rate. Thus, B. bassiana isolate with the curved colony of insect served as an isolate which was expected to be virulent as controlling agent to biological elements
