DeePLT: Personalized Lighting Facilitates by Trajectory Prediction of Recognized Residents in the Smart Home

In recent years, the intelligence of various parts of the home has become one of the essential features of any modern home. One of these parts is the intelligence lighting system that personalizes the light for each person. This paper proposes an intelligent system based on machine learning that personalizes lighting in the instant future location of a recognized user, inferred by trajectory prediction. Our proposed system consists of the following modules: (I) human detection to detect and localize the person in each given video frame, (II) face recognition to identify the detected person, (III) human tracking to track the person in the sequence of video frames and (IV) trajectory prediction to forecast the future location of the user in the environment using Inverse Reinforcement Learning. The proposed method provides a unique profile for each person, including specifications, face images, and custom lighting settings. This profile is used in the lighting adjustment process. Unlike other methods that consider constant lighting for every person, our system can apply each 'person's desired lighting in terms of color and light intensity without direct user intervention. Therefore, the lighting is adjusted with higher speed and better efficiency. In addition, the predicted trajectory path makes the proposed system apply the desired lighting, creating more pleasant and comfortable conditions for the home residents. In the experimental results, the system applied the desired lighting in an average time of 1.4 seconds from the moment of entry, as well as a performance of 22.1mAp in human detection, 95.12% accuracy in face recognition, 93.3% MDP in human tracking, and 10.80 MinADE20, 18.55 MinFDE20, 15.8 MinADE5 and 30.50 MinFDE5 in trajectory prediction

Background and aims: This study aimed to investigate the deaths and injuries following pedestrian traffic accidents and factors associated with death of pedestrian in Tehran and Alborz provinces. Methods: In this cross-sectional study all traffic accidents related to pedestrians in Tehran and Alborz provinces reported from March 21, 2013 to March 21, 2014 by the traffic police were studied. The Database related to death of Legal Medicine Organization was used in order to determine the exact number of deaths. The standard population of World Health Organization was used in order to calculate the age-standardized incidence rate. We used Chi-square test, T-test and logistic regression to extract statistically significant associations. P-value under 0.05 was considered significant. Result: The age-standardized mortality and injury rate were respectively, 6.1 and 65.1 per 100,000 populations. The pedestrian’s road traffic (PRT) mortality and injury rates in men were 3 and 1.5 times more than women respectively. Statistically significant relationships were observed between the pedestrian’s age, the direct cause in the accident, classification of road, month of occurrence, days of week, type of vehicle, accident location and pedestrian action with the death of pedestrians. Conclusion: Given that the highest incidence rate of death was observed in the age group over 65 years old, it is necessary to pay special attention to the physiologic characteristics of this age group by predicting safety plans and also to provide more secure conditions for this high risk group in accident-prone road sections

Liquidity criteria that investors in making portfolio investments are involved. Among the factors that could affect liquidity, earnings management. Earnings management can accrual-based earnings management aspects and management of real benefit to be evaluated; Therefore, the aim of this study is to estimate the accrual-based earnings management and gain real management and its effects on liquidity of companies listed on the Stock Exchange in Tehran. The sample consisted of 78 companies for the period 2008 to 2012. We used multivariate regression model based on panel data is performed. Our results show that research hypotheses are tested between accrual-based earnings management positive and significant relationship with the lack of liquidity, and the liquidity and significant negative relationship. As well as the actual management of non-profit with a positive and significant relationship between stock liquidity, and the liquidity is insignificant and there is a negative relationship

Background: Toxocariasis is considered as an important neglected tropical disease. Although, the prevalence of Toxocara eggs in soil has previously been reported in different parts of Iran, the extent of this condition is not precisely known in Kermanshah city, west of Iran.Materials and Methods: A total of 126 soil samples were collected from different zones of Kermanshah public places during April-June 2014. The samples were examined for Toxocara spp. eggs via modified floatation method using sodium nitrate (NaNO3) and the data was analyzed using Data Analysis and Statistical Software (STATA Ver.13.1).Results: Toxocara spp. eggs were found in 17 (13.5%) out of 126 samples collected from the studied areas. There was a significant difference between contamination rate in the areas with low levels of health status and that in the areas with high levels (p=0.003).Conclusion: According to the results obtained in the present study public parks, streets, and squares of Kermanshah are contaminated with eggs of Toxocara spp. Considering these findings, establishment of a wisely planned health program for controlling helminthes in the soil and the population of the stray dogs and cats in order to reduce the distribution of parasitosis is strongly recommended

Similarity of pharmacokinetics of intranasal ketorolac to the intravenous form and other advantages have promoted its application. This study compared the analgesic effects of intravenous and intranasal ketorolac in patients undergoing mandibular fracture surgery. In this clinical trial study, Sixty-four patients with unilateral mandibular fracture were divided randomly into two groups. In group 1, 30 mg of intravenous (IV) ketorolac was injected every 8 hours and in group 2, intranasal (IN) ketorolac spray was used as a 100-µL puff in each nostril (31.5 mg) every 6 hours. After each patient regained consciousness, pain intensity was measured based on visual analogue scale for 48 hours. Finally, the total dose of the opioid analgesic agent (pethidine) and the time for the first request for an analgesic agent were recorded for each patient, and their means were compared in each group with proper statistical tests. Mean pain intensity of patients at baseline was significantly higher than that at other intervals and then, it decreased significantly (P0.05). Application of intranasal ketorolac spray decreased pain after mandibular fracture surgery, especially at 8-hour interval after surgery, decreasing the need for opioids

In this paper, an extension of Darbo’s fixed point theorem via θ -F-contractions in a Banach space has been presented. Measure of noncompactness approach is the main tool in the presentation of our proofs. As an application, we study the existence of solutions for a system of integral equations. Finally, we present a concrete example to support the effectiveness of our results. The authors are grateful to the Basque Government by the support of this work through Grant IT1207-19

Prevalence of Shielding in Diagnostic X-ray Centers in the Islamic Republic of Iran: A Systematic Review

Shielding has been recommended as an effective tool against radiation exposure. Several studies have published on the availability and use of shielding tools in diagnostic X-ray centers across the country and contradictory results been reported. Therefore, the aim of this systematic review was to find out the status of radiation protection in term of availability and use of shielding tools in diagnostic X-ray centers in Iran. An extensive literature search was conducted in the PubMed/Medline, Embase, ISI, Cochrane Library, SID, Magiran, IranMedex, Irandoc and Google-Scholar search engine. We also manually searched the reference lists of the relevant studies. Two authors independently assessed the eligibility of all studies and extracted data. Thirty-seven studies published from 1998 to 2019 were included in this systematic review. In all, 1089 diagnostic X-ray centers, 4439 radiographs and performance of 1472 radiographers were covered in these studies. The availability of lead apron, gonad shield and thyroid collar were ranged from 7 to 95.5%, 26.6 to 94% and 7 to 94%, respectively. Moreover, their usage was ranged from 0 to 85.5%, 0 to 35% and 0 to 38.4%, respectively. In addition, lens shield was discussed in one study with availability of 0%. During 1998 to 2019, the status of shielding had not improved across the country. Therefore adherence to the safety guideline as far as possible is required to protection patients from undue exposure to radiation

An inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare neoplasm with an unclear origin that can arise anywhere on the body. It contains spindle cells (myofibroblasts) with different inflammatory elements. Primary IMT of the kidney is a clinically rare disease and is difficult to differentiate from other renal malignancies. We reported a 49-year-old male who presented with right flank pain in the past year. A computed tomography scan showed a mixed density with slight heterogeneous enhancement mass in the upper pole of the right kidney, two small hypodense nodules invading the liver, and another mass in the lateral aspect of inferior vena cava. The patient underwent right radical nephrectomy and metastasectomy. IMT was confirmed by both postoperative histopathological examination and immunohistochemical assay. The patient recovered well after the operation, and no recurrence or metastasis was noted during the 12-month follow-up

ABSTRACT This paper examines in detail the relative utility of the Theory of Constraints compared to traditional management accounting approaches to resource utilisation in aiding decisionmaking. It also considers the propagation and evolution of the Theory of Constraints and critically examines the response it has generated in the accounting and management literature. The continuing survival of cost accounting in the face of frequent assaults similar to Goldratt's may in part be due to the ability of the discipline to adapt its practices to integrate the mandated improvements into practice and educational curricula. One example is the Theory of Constraints itself an
