PENERAPAN PROJECT - BASED LEARNING SEBAGAI UPAYA STRATEGIS PENGEMBANGAN SEKOLAH KEJURUAN

Nowadays, schools could not rely on the government contribution any more. Even though the government, Depdiknas in this case, recommended that the schools should develop themselves based on their capabilities through school-based management. In accordance with th recommendation above, project-based learning is an alternative learning model for developing vocational education. The model can give the vocational education several benefits such as economical benefit, educational benefit and social benefit. Economical benefits can be used for developing the project as well the school. Educational benefits consist of knowledge, skill, the ability of interacting intelectually, emotionally and socially of the students. Students employed in the project can receive certain salary that can be used to support their life and educational needs. The leader of the school plays an important role to maintain the sustain ability of applying the model. He should develop networks concerning with relevant projects. The sustain ability of applying the model does not only depend on the role of the leader of the school but also depend on the calculation of the benefit economically and government policy. PELAKSANAAN KEMITRAAN USAHA DI SENTRA INDUSTRI KECIL COR LOGAM DI KABUPATEN KLATEN

This study was evaluative in nature. The population was all the small entre-preneurs (n = 38) in the small-industrial center of foundry in Klaten regency, who implemented the cooperative subcontracting system. To confirm the data obtained from the subcontractor entrepreneurs, the researcher collected other data from six contractor entrepreneurs, using questionnaire and interview. The data were then analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of mean score. The result of this research showed that the capacities of the production tools used by the subcontractors were very adequate, though the foundry technology was obsolete. The preparation of the subcontractors in implementing the cooperation was still less adequate, especially in finance and ma-nagement. The level of subcontractors' entrepreneur capabilities in realizing the co-operation was classified as high enough, and the level of constraint faced by the sub-contractors in implementing the cooperative subcontracting system was high enough, especially in the area of capital formation, supplying of raw materials and marketing. Dalam nuansa peringatan hari kemerdekaan saya teringat penggalan kalimat “Uh, Hindia, negeri yang hanya dapat menunggu-nunggu hasil kerja Eropa!” yang ditulis Pramoedya Ananta Toer dalam Bumi Manusia, salah satu novel dari Tetralogi Pulau Buru. Dalam konteks sains seperti Psikologi (Sosial), lebih-lebih bahan ajar yang diberikan di kelas Psikologi Sosial di program studi Psikologi di tanah air, riset-riset yang dilakukan di “Barat” adalah rujukan utama. Riset yang dilakukan peneliti tanah air dengan partisipan orang Indonesia selalu berada dalam posisi minor dalam kuantitas ketika membahas suatu topik pembelajaran. Hal ini juga berlanjut dalam penulis tugas akhir, seolah-olah mensitasi publikasi peneliti Indonesia, akan menurunkan kredibilitas argumen yang dibangun, terutama jika jurnal yang dirujuk berbahasa Indonesi

“Dunia politik dunia bintang Dunia pesta pora para binatang, asik gak asik” (Iwan Fals, 2004)   Lagu “Asik Gak Asik” lamat-lamat terdengar di kepala saya saat membaca empat artikel bertema Psikologi Politik dalam edisi kali ini. Reduksionisme sarkastik Iwan Fals tentang dunia politik dengan fokus pada tabiat aktor politik, tentu tak begitu salah. Semangat ini mirip seperti di masa-masa awal Psikologi Politik mulai berkembang di tahun 1920-an, kajian di bidang ini juga lebih berfokus pada kepribadian dan motivasi dari pemimpin dan politisi dengan pendekatan psikoanalisis (Cottam, dkk., 2016). Seiring waktu, Psikologi Politik mulai membahas fenomena psikologis ke area politik yang lebih luas, termasuk di dalamnya tentang partisipasi publik dalam politik hingga kekerasan yang didorong oleh ideologi tertentu. Selain empat artikel tersebut, volume 19 edisi ketiga dari Jurnal Psikologi Sosial di tahun 2021 ini juga memuat tiga naskah lain dengan topik yang tak kalah menarik yaitu stereotipe terhadap orang dengan difabilitas mental, motivasi relawan, dan pengambilan keputusan pada remaja yang terlibat prostitusi

Catatan Managing Editor JPS: Milan kundera, ayah, karyawan senior pada masa pandemi

Sebagai dosen dan juga penguji skripsi di program studi sarjana psikologi, setahun terakhir ini saya sering mendengar kritik dari kolega sesama dosen tentang topik skripsi mahasiswa selama pandemi cum Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh. Teman-teman dosen melihat, banyak mahasiswa psikologi menganggap topik penelitiannya menjadi terasa urgen, bahkan lebih jauh menawar-kan suatu novelty hanya karena meletakkan frase “pada masa pandemi COVID-19” di akhir judul skripsinya. Kritik ini saya kira sebagian besar benar belaka, tetapi saya juga punya semacam pledoi bukan kawan-kawan maha-siswa tingkat akhir ini. Dengan sedikit ketekunan dalam melakukan studi literatur dan menemukan state of the art dari fenomena atau variabel yang diteliti tersebut sebelum pandemi terjadi dan menemukan research gap sesuai fakta atau fenomena yang ditangkap selama pandemi, studi-studi dengan embel-embel “pada masa pandemi” ini akan terasa relevan dan layak dibaca. Lebih jauh mengutip Milan Kundera dari bukunya The Book of Laughter and Forgetting, “The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting”. Marilah kita merayakan riset bercap “Era Pandemi” ini sebagai ikhtiar melawan lupa, bahwa catatan akademik ini bisa digunakan kelak jika manusia harus menghadapi mala yang mirip. Semangat ini pulalah yang mendorong redaksi memuat tiga riset bertema “COVID-19” dalam terbitan volume 20 nomor 2 ini. Di luar topik pandemi, tiga dari tujuh artikel juga merupakan riset terkait pengembangan alat ukur. Satu pertanda bahwa di masa depan redaksi sangat berharap semakin banyak riset-riset pengembangan alat ukur yang kredibel dan kreatif di sains perilaku terutama dalam ranah Psikologi Sosial. Dua naskah lain yang terbit di edisi kali ini mengupas topik yang cukup menarik: pada ayah yang memiliki anak dengan spektrum autism dan pembelajaran informal pada karyawan senior

Penerapan Aloritma Naive Bayes Untuk Membantu Mahasiswa Dalam Memprediksi Pengambilan Mata Kuliah (Studi Kasus: Prodi Teknologi Informasi Unimor Angkatan Tahun 2020)

      Abstrak - Selama semester pertama setiap mahasiswa Bagian akademik Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Timor harus bekerja keras untuk mempelajari bagaimana melakukan penjadwalan dan penentuan mata kuliah. Namun, proses itu sendiri ditandai dengan permasalahan, dengan pengecualian fakta bahwa kelas bawaan dapat mengakibatkan pembubaran satu atau beberapa siswa. Alhasil, dikembangkanlah sebuah sistem yang dapat mengendalikan mata kuliah. Salah satu solusi tersebut menggunakan klasifikasi penambangan data. Data atribut mahasiswa seperti Nilai, IP, IPK, SKS, SKSK, dan Semester digunakan dalam proses klasifikasi, yang memungkinkan untuk prediksi tentang bagaimana mahasiswa tersebut akan mmengambil mata kuliah yang dimaksud. Indikator klasifiabilitas terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu “Ya” untuk mahasiswa yang meramal sukses dan “Tidak” untuk mahasiswa yang memprediksi gagal. Algoritma Naive Bayes Classification (NBC) digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi. Dataset training terdiri dari data semester ganjil tahun 2020 dan semester genap tahun 2021. Untuk pengujian, data dari semester 2022 tersedia. Tingkat akurasi prediksi mata kuliah Keamanan Sistem dan Data sebesar 21,21%, sedangkan akurasi prediksi mata kuliah Audit Sistem Informasisebesar 78,26%. Kedua mata kuliah ini terpilih sebagai bagian dari seleksi. Luaran artikel ini adalah dashboard  yang menampilkan grafik hasil aktual dan prediksi untuk sejumlah kelas selama semester dan tahun berjalan

Toward an Ideal Balance Of Islamic Banking Products Portfolio

The Islamic Banking Industry is growing rapidly in many countries, yet some important problems are yet to be faced. This includes the perception of some Muslim societies towards Islamic banking operations, accounting issues and particularly, in regard to the industries product portfolio. In the case of Indonesia – but perhaps also in the larger context – there has been concerns raised about the imbalance of product portfolio [Adnan 2003; 2005, Tohirin 2003, Muhammad 2005]. It is commonly known for example that the murabaha product has dominated product portfolio since the beginning of the industry’s operations. Although this issue is not related to fiqh concepts, many are concerned that product portfolio imbalance will cause an unevenness between the monetary or financial sector and the real sector of businesses. In other words, the situation will not reflect the notion of an Islamic economics concept, which is concerned about balance and harmony among all economic sectors. SENTRALISASI INDUSTRI PERTAHANAN DALAM STRATEGI INDONESIA MENGHADAPI ESKALASI ANCAMAN PASCA AUKUS

A new security pact, the so-called AUKUS – Australia, United Kingdom, United States, was just established on September 15th, 2021. Australia is promised to be aided in building its sophisticated military capability, including the most anticipated one, the nuclear submarine. Amid a deteriorating relationship with the emerging power, China, the three countries concluded a decision which led to the intensification of rivalries among great power. Between the mentioned confronting parties, southeast Asian countries apparently divided yet felt a security dilemma in responding to the establishment of AUKUS. Either it refuses any military projection effort or considers the AUKUS as a balancing manoeuvre due to China’s assertive behaviour in the South China Sea. Geographically and politically Indonesia is the key actor. This article discusses how Indonesia’s strategy should be composed on addressing the threat posed by AUKUS in the regional stage. We investigate the importance of building our own national capability to deter any upcoming threat. Defence industries find their relevance in this situation. We suggest that Indonesia should put the building and developing its national defence industries as a major agenda of the strategy for addressing current and future security threats

A study on the development of a fishing shipyard in Peukan Bada District, Aceh Besar using fishbone analysis: A short comunnication

The People of Peukan Bada generally work as fishermen. The ships used by the Peukan Bada people are generally wooden material. The capture fisheries sector in the Peukan Bada area is currently still small in scale. This can be seen from the type of fishing gear used by ships operating in the waters of Peukan Bada. The problem is that the shipbuilding industry in Peukan Bada is currently not developing following the challenges faced. So it is necessary to develop a fishing boat yard in the area. The purpose of this research is to find out what meters need to be considered in the development process. The method of collecting data used in this study is the survey method. The survey that will be carried out is by directly observing the conditions and assessing factors related to fishing vessels, the data needed to support this research method is primary data. The primary data were obtained from direct observations of various activities carried out in the shipyard and the results of interviews obtained with workers in the shipyard. The data analysis used is Fishing Bone Analysis the result of this research is that this shipbuilding industry has developments that are still far from capacity, potential, needs, and the need for the development of land parameters, human resources, machinery, materials, methods or ways of working, shipping flows and production capacity.

Menuju Terbentuknya PSAK (Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan) Wakaf di Indonesia

Perkembangan awqaf sebagai salah satu filantropi ekonomi dalam beberapa tahun sangat pesat. Apalagi dengan tumbuhnya wakaf tunai dan penerimaan aset wakaf. Namun belum ada standar akuntansi keuangan untuk dapat mengakomodasi pelaporan keuangan wakaf sampai sekarang. Lembaga awqaf umumnya mengacu pada standar akuntansi dan dianggap relevan seperti SAP dan PSAK 45. Pada tahun 2016 BWI menerbitkan buku yang disebut "Buku Pedoman Akuntansi Wakaf", namun buku ini tidak dapat digunakan untuk semua lembaga awqaf di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendorong pengembangan standar akuntansi keuangan untuk wakaf. Karena pedoman ini belum menjadi standar akuntansi yang dapat digunakan oleh semua lembaga awqaf di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis isi metode penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah PSAK Wakaf sangat dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini memberikan beberapa pemikiran mengenai ruang lingkup PSAK Wakaf dan penyusunan standar akuntansi keuangan proposal wakaf dalam bentuk ilustrasi laporan keuangan seperti laporan posisi keuangan, laporan arus kas, laporan perubahan dana, laporan perubahan dana sumber daya, dan laporan kegiatan keuangan
