    Desa Sanrobone adalah salah satu Desa dilingkungan pemerintahan Kabupaten Takalar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Secara keseluruhan luas wilayah Sanrobone 6,32 km2, dimana keadaan alam geografis merupakan daerah daratan, dan mengandung kekayaan SDA yang melimpah. Sehingga mata pencaharian masyarakat setempat adalah di bidang peternakan, pertambangan dan pertanian. Daerah ini juga termasuk daerah yang sangat subur sehingg banyak ditemuai tanaman/tumbuhan yang potensial dikembangkan menjadi bahan obat seperti, jahe, jagung, kunyit, asam dan lainnya. Potensi SDA Desa Sanrobone sangat mendukung dalam upaya Desa sanrobone yang menempatkan canangan SDGs pada prioritas selama pandemic Covid-19 yaitu mencapai “Desa Sehat dan Sejahtera”. Kegiatan ini dilakukan diawali dengan inventarisir potensi SDA yang potensial sebagai bahan baku obat/supplement termasuk bahan immune booster. Penyuluhan manfaat rempah/sayuran disekitar lingkungan sebagai immune booster. Workshop/pelatihan cara pengolahan rempah/sayuran untuk menjadi sumber immune booster alami berdasarakan standar Cara Pembuatan Obat Tradisional yang Baik (CPOTB). Serta tambahan pengetahuan mengenai pengemasan dan packaging produk herbal immune booster berpotensi komersial. Berdasarkan hasil observasi data disimpulkan bahwa Desa Sanrobone memiliki ragam tumbuhan yang berpotensi dalam pengembangan immune booster herbal dan dapat dimodifikasi dalam beberapa bentuk variasi seperti minuman segar ataupun seduhan atau the herbal.Kata Kunci: Immune booster; Herbal; Sanrobone

    UJI TOKSISITAS EKSTRAK DAUN PLETEKAN (Ruellia tuberosa L.) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE BRINE SHRIMP LETHALITY TEST (BSLT)

    Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.) belongs to Acanthaceae family. In traditional medicine has been used as diuretic, antidiabetic, antipyretic and antihypertensive and it also recently been incorporated as a component in a herbal tea in Taiwan. This research is aim to determine LC50 value of Minnie root leaves extract (Ruellia tuberosa L.) to Artemia salina Leach shrimp larvae. Dryed samples extracted by graduate maceration with n-hexan, ethyl acetate and ethanol respectively. Rendamen n-hexane extract obtained as much as 1.158%, ethyl acetate extract as much as 2.017% and ethanol extract as much as 3.669 %. Based on qualitative screening used TLC method, ethyl acetate extracts and ethanol extracts of Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.) leaves contain alkaloid, saponin, flavonoid and phenolic compounds. Toxicity assay Artemia salina Leach shrimp larvae have been conducted on leaves extracts of Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.). Toxicity assay on sample extract of Minnie root (Ruellia tuberosa L.) leaves determine by counting the number died of larvae after 24 hours treatment. LC50 on sample calculated by probit analysis method. The toxicity assay showed LC50 of ethyl acetate extracts and ethanol extracts are toxic with LC50 266.07 ± 0.93 µg/mL and 142.160 ± 1.30 µg/mL

    Teh hijau memiliki nama spesies Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze, family Theaceae dan Jati belanda (Guazuma ulmifolia Lam.) termasuk kedalam family sterculiaceae. Ekstrakse dengan metode maserasi termodifikasi microwave dengan pelarut air. Purifikasi ekstrak dengan menggunakan pelarut dengan tingkat kepolaran yang berbeda-beda dimulai dengan petroleum eter, kloroform, etil asetat dan metanol. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode peredaman radikal DPPH. Hasil penelitian dipeoleh rendamen ekstrak terpurifikasi ekstrak teh hijau 13,33 % dan jati belanda 46,66 %.Pengujian antioksidan menunjukkan nilai IC50 jati belanda yaitu 10,13 ppm, lebih besar dibandingkan teh hijau yaitu 31,13 %

    Phytochemical Screening and α-glucosidase Inhibitory of Secang Wood (Caesalpinia sappan L.)

    Secang wood (Caesalpinia sappan L.) is a part of the Secang plant which is widely used to treat various diseases, including diabetes. Based on previous research, secang wood contains flavonoids which have the potential to inhibit the α-glucosidase enzyme. The research aims to determine the potential of ethanol extracted by meseration using 96% ethanol. Inhibition of activity was tested using microplate reader which was measured at a wavelength of 405 nm with acarbose as a comparison. The results of the research show that the ethanol extract of secang wood has inhibitory activity, including it in the active category based on the % inhibition value obtained at 83.63%. Meanwhile, acarbose has inhibitory activity, including it in the very active category with a %inhibition value of 79%

    Free radicals play a role in the occurrence of various degenerative diseases that require free-radical scavengers or antioxidants. Buni fruit (Antidesma bunius (L.) Spreng) has the bioactive components are Anthocyanins (flavonoids) that serves to the free radicals. This study aimed to measure the antioxidant activity of theethanol extract contained 70% fruit Buni obtained by using the method of nitric oxide. Simplicia buni macerated dried fruit with 70% ethanol. Extracts were obtained in the test antioxidant activity against nitric oxide radicals. The antioxidant activity against free radical absorbance measured by means of UV-Vis spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 546 nm and calcul ated IC50 values. The results shows that the fruit buni has potential as a free radical with IC50 value of 2.28 µg/mL and a comparison of quercetin with IC50 value of 5.88 µg/mL

    Kecombrang (Etlingera elatior Jack.) is one of the plants growing in the area of Palopo, South Sulawesi. Kecombrang included in the Zingiberaceae family and rhizome of kecombrang widely used by the community as an antioxidant. This research aimed to determine the phenolic content on the methanol extract of the rhizome kecombrang. Methanol extract of rhizhome kecombrang obtained by maceration method with methanol P. Chemical component analysis used thin layer chromatography (TLC) is characterized by the appearance of spot. Determination of the phenolic content of the methanol extract of rhizomes kecombrang used the TLC-densitometry. The results showed that the phytochemical assay on methanol extract of kecombrang rhizomes positively countains 144.43 µg phenolic compounds

    Red Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) is a medicinal plant used by the public as drugs. This plant is efficacious because one contains chemical constituents are flavonoids. Comparative Study of total Flavonoid content in red Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) from North Luwu district of South Sulawesi province and the province of East Java Kediri district has done. The aim of study to determine of total flavonoid content in Kediri regency and district of North Luwu using a spectrophotometer. Extraction is done by maceration method using 96% ethanol. Phytochemical screening using the color reaction identification and determine content of Colorimetric method using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at the maximum wavelength of 417 nm. Meanwhile the yield extract red Rosellafrom Kediri (sample I) 12.703% and red Rosella from north Luwu (sample II) 10.44%. Test phytochemical to sample I and sample II positive containing Flavonoids. Test total Flavonoid content to sample I is 0.02816% and sample II is 0.2075%

    Uji Aktivitas Antioksidan Ekstrak Metanol Bunga dan Daun Patikala (Etlingera elatior (Jack) R.M.Sm) Menggunakan Metode DPPH

    Patikala (Etlingera elatior (Jack) R.M.Sm) is a plant of the Zingiberaceae family. Patikala (E. elatior (Jack) R.M.Sm) have bioactive compounds are flavonoids that act as antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to measure free radical activity in the methanol extract of the fruit and leaves Patikala (E. elatior (Jack) R.M.Sm). Extraction of flowers and leaf samples by maceration method using methanol. Qualitative analysis of chemical compounds with certain eluent using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) to determine the group of active compounds in the extract. Antioxidant activity assay using the immersion method of DPPH (1,1-Diphenyl-2-picryl Hidrazil) measured absorption at a wavelength of 517 nm and compared with the power of antioxidant quersetin. The results showed that the methanol extract rendemen is at 1.935% for flowers and leaves at 5.17%. Antioxidant activity of the methanol extract of the flowers patikala (E. elatior (Jack) R.M.Sm) have low antioxidant activity with the value IC50 101.84 mg / mL and methanol extracts of leaves Patikala (E. elatior (Jack) R.MSm) have strong antioxidant activity with value IC50 30,65 mg / mL. This potential is lower than that of quercetin IC50 value of 5.35 mg / m
