    Prepare before teaching is very important acion, in order to  make teaching easily. One of the prepare is making a lesson plan. Lesson plan is software for teacher to track the lessson plan for their classes. The goal of this research is to find out “The correlation between the students’ perception on the lecturer’s ability in making lesson plan  and their achievement in TEFL at English Educational Department of Tarbiyah Faculty IAIN-SU”. The study was conducted on the nineth semester students of English Educational Department of Tarbiyah Faculty IAIN SU Medan. The population of this study was  78 and the writer took all population as a sample. The data was analyzed by the Product Moment Correlation technique. From the calculation of the data, it found that there is a significant correlation between the students’ perception on the lecturers’ ability in making lesson plan and their achievement in TEFL or the Hypothesis Alternative (Ha) is accepted and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Because rcalculate is bigger than rtable or 0.336>0.224

    THE EFFECT OF READING STRATEGIS AND LEARNING STYLES ON THE STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENT IN READING COMPREHENSION

    The objectives of this study are to find out whether or not: (1) students’ achievement in reading ccomprehension taught by INSERT strategy is significantly higher than QAR strategy, (2) students’ achievement in reading comprehension those who have visual learning style higher than those who have auditory learning style, (3) there is interaction between reading strategies and learning styles on students’ achievement in reading comprehension. An experimental research with factorial design 2 x2 was used in this study. There were 120 students from the academic year of English Department (Tadris English) STAIN Gajah Putih Takengon in Central Aceh taken as the sample of this research. The students were divided into two groups. The first group was treated by using INSERT strategy and the second group was treated by QAR strategy. Learning styles was measured by giving the questionnaire for classifying the students that have visual and auditory learning style. Students’ achievement in reading comprehension was measuring by given essay and multiple choice test. The data were analyzed by applying Two-Way ANNOVA. The result reveals that (1) students’ achievement in reading comprehension taught by INSERT (X=30.23) is significantly higher than students’ achievement in reading comprehension taught by by QAR (X=27.20) with Fobserve=15.70 > Ftable=3.92 at the level of significant α=0.05, (2) students’ achievement in reading comprehension who have visual learning style (X=26.17) is higher than students’ achievement who have auditory learning style (X=24.83) with Fobserve=7.12 > Ftable=3.92 at the level of significant α=0.05, (3) there is significant interaction between reading strategies and learning styles on students’ achievement in reading comprehension with Fobserve=12.07 > Ftable=3.92. After the Tuckey Test was applied, it showed that the students who have visual learning style got higher result if they were taught by using INSERT strategy and students who have auditory learning style got higher result if they were taught by QAR strategy

    Hasil pembelajaran pra-siklus yang telah dilakukan peneliti, menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa rendah, rata-rata nilai formatif tes siswa yakni rata-rata 65.00 dengan porsentase ketuntasan 68.00, nilai ini masih dibawah indikator yang ditetapkan 75.00 ketuntasan klasikal 85.00. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah, identifikasi masalah, maka peneltan perbaikan pembeljaran ini dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut: Bagaimana penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan memanfaatkan internet sebagai sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mulok materi ragam patu mbojo di SMAN 4 Kota Bima kelas X MIPA-2 semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2020/2021?. Tujuan Penelitian: 1. Mendeskripsikan proses penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan memanfaatkan internet sebagai sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mulok materi ragam patu mbojo di SMAN 4 Kota Bima kelas X MIPA-2 semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. 2. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis dampak penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan memanfaatkan internet sebagai sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mulok materi ragam patu mbojo di SMAN 4 Kota Bima kelas X MIPA-2 semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi pengamatan, dokumen dan tes. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa ini dapat dibandingkan dari hasil tes pra-perbaikan. Perbaikan dilaksanakan dalam 2 (dua) siklus. Siklus I dari tanggal 13 Juli 2020 sampai dengan 24 Juli 2020 dan siklus II dilaksanakan tanggal 16 Agustus 2020 sampai dengan 27 Agustus 2020. Subyek perbaikan adalah siswa kelas X MIPA-2 SMAN 4 Kota Bima dengan jumlah siswa 31, terdiri dari 13 orang laki-laki dan 18 orang perempuan. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa ini dapat dibandingkan dari hasil tes pra-perbaikan. Hasil pos tes siklus I diatas menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa rata-rata 68.44 (+3.44), Persentase ketuntasan 71.00% (+3.00), Persentase ini masih dibawah indikator kinerja yakni ≥85.00%. Dari sisi prestasi belajar siklus I (pertama) belum berhasil. APKG I, untuk perencanaan pembelajaran yang mendidik ≥90.50 (+2.00) APKG II, untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendidik ≥89.00 (+4.00). Dengan demikian dari sisi kinerja guru siklus I belum mencapai indikator kinerja yang ditetapkan yakni APKG I dan APKG II ≥92.00. Hasil pos tes siklus II menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa rata-rata 80.00 (+11.56). Persentase ketuntasan 85. 00% (+14.00). Persentase ini telah memenuhi indikator kinerja yakni ≥85.00%. Dengan demikian pada siklus II ini telah berhasil mencapai indikator yang ditetapkan yakni rata-rata ≥75.00 dan persentase ketuntasan ≥85.00%. Dari sisi prestasi belajar siklus II (kedua) telah berhasil. APKG I, untuk perencanaan pembelajaran yang mendidik ≥92.20 (+1.70) APKG, II untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mendidik ≥92.30 (+3.30). Dengan perbaikan proses pembelajaran berhasil memenuhi indikator kinerja yang ditetapkan yakni APKG I, untuk perencanaan ≥92.00 APKG II, untuk pelaksanaan ≥92.00. Peningkatkan Prestasi belajar siswa, disebabkan efektivitas penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan memanfaatkan media internet sebagai sumber belajar dengan pemanfaatan internet sebagai sumber belajar yang dilaksanakan guru. Dengan demikian setelah pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran sampai siklus II, telah mencapai indikator kinerja yang ditetapkan, dan penelitian dianggap telah berhasil

    This research is motivated by the large number of children whose behavior is not in accordance with the religious and moral values ​​that have been taught. This is caused by the lack of instilling religious and moral values ​​in children from an early age. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in instilling religious and moral values ​​in early childhood in the digitalization era. This type of research is a qualitative using a descriptive method, namely the description of the situation experienced. Data collection used in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are that parents and teachers use several methods in instilling religious and moral values ​​in early childhood, namely 1) exemplary methods; 2) habituation method; 3) advice method; 4) storytelling method. Educators and parents have roles in their respective environments. Educators play more of a role in the school environment, while parents play more of a role in the home environment. However, both of them continue to work together so that children can have good religious and moral values ​​in this digitalization era
