    Determination of trace elements in seawater and application for identification of source of trace metal contaminants

    利用电感耦合等离子体质谱(ICP-MS)研究了胶州湾及莱州湾这两个海域中痕量元素污染水平,发展了ICP-MS海水环境中痕量元素的测定方法,同时找出海水环境中具有保守性的数种元素作为污染示踪元素。达到对于海水环境中痕量污染物被动示踪的目的。对18个真实样品进行了识别率试验,识别率可达90%以上,在选取3个海水样品及1个河水样品混合后的模拟分担率实验,也取得了满意的结果,其误差平均值仅有1.17%。Inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) was developed into an accurate and sensitive technique for the multi-element determinations in a range of sample matrices.The seawater samples in Lai zhou Bay and Jiaozhou Bay as a case was studied.The distribution of trace elements in seawater can be used in the source fingerprints for the identification of seawater samples from different locations.The probability of success for the source identification by the technique is better than 90%.The feasibility of trace metals in seawater as a tracer for the tracking of pollution sources has been evaluated.Combined with the chemo-metric analysis,3 seawater and 1 river samples were mixed,the error is only 1.17%.国家863项目(2005AA635250

    采用溶胶-凝胶法制备基于染料吸收原理的光纤化学pH传感膜.通过有机掺杂,获得了对溶液pH具有宽范围动态响应的敏感膜.将四乙氧基硅烷和有机硅单体水解后加入pH指示剂,铺成溶胶-凝胶薄膜.该pH传感器的pH感应范围可达到pH3~11,响应速度3min,一个月稳定性在RSD<18%.New methodology and technology of sol-gel has been successfully applied in pH sensor film preparation. The pH response range and the sensitive can be elevated by using the organic mixed silicate film.     详细研究了以大孔硅胶为基质,一步合成8羟-基喹啉(8-HQ)型金属螯合色谱填料的方法,采用正交试验对合成方法进行了优化。与传统合成方法所得的填料进行了比较,从理化指标等方面来看,新的合成方法为佳。将该法用作微柱流动注射(FIA)在线分离、富集和电感耦合等离子体质谱(ICP-MS)分析流程中的固定相,对大洋海水中的痕量铅进行了在线分析,得到了较满意的结果。A new method for the synthesis of 8-hydroxyquinoline(8-HQ) bonded silica(SHQ) for metal chelation applications has been developed.The new synthetic route has been compared with the conventional one reported in the literature in terms of reaction yield,product performance and operational ease.The new method is based on a one-step Mannich reaction,and an orthogonal experimental design has been used for process optimization.The 8-HQ bonded silica product obtained has been characterized by diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform(DRIFT) spectroscopy,and the presence of a strong absorption band of the phenol-OH near 1380 cm~(-1) indicates the successful bonding of 8-HQ on silica surface.The concentration of 8-HQ bonded to the silica surface quantified by ultroaviolet-visible spectroscopy is 542 μmol/g,much higher than the product obtained by the conventional synthetic route,which is 117 μmol/g.The dynamic binding capacities of the two SHQs towards copper(Ⅱ) has been measured and compared by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS),and the results are 347 μmol/g for the new SHQ and 76 μmol/g for the(conventional) one.The results demonstrate that the new method is not only simpler and more convenient operationally,but also produced product with better performance.The SHQ synthesized has been used for(measuring) trace lead in(seawater) and estuary water samples using on-line flow injection(FIA)-ICP-MS.The(detection) limit of the method is about 10 ng/L,and the relative standard deviation(s_r) is 9.1%.Using CASS-4 standard seawater samples spiked with Pb standard,the recovery of Pb from the process is about 140%.The high recovery observed is likely due to the contamination of Pb in the high purity nitric cid used in the experiments.国家863计划(No.20034A635180);; 青岛科技将才计划基金项目(No.04-3-J.J-11
