    Get PDF
This article focuses on describing the main aspects and reasons for implementing Business Process Management in Czech companies, and was based on original results of the quantitative research evaluating aspects of process management in the context of company strategies in Czech enterprises which was carried out in 2006 with regard to the extension of its further utilization. Following the interest of professionals in practice, the research continued and was re-implemented in 2012, having the interviews completed in 2013. I have described an evaluation of a process segmentation typology in this article too. The analysis showed that managers have more options regarding process segmentation to choose from. In terms of practicality and ease of use, the method of process segmentation most frequently used (managerial, main and supportive) comes directly from the requirements of ISO 9001

Bakalářská práce obsahuje 77 textových stran formátu A4 a 19 jednotlivých výkresů.Assignment of my bachelor´s work was to create the investors wish, so called.“My house, my castle.“ My goal was to create pleasant and harmonic surroundings for living and relaxation. Grounds with its scene specifies architectonical aspect of the site and exposure to points of the compass. From three sides is site surrounded by full grown vegetation, witch creates natural coullise to the designed villa. Ground is slightly steep. I set the purely white family villa to the middle of the grounds. Its fairly large double floor body looks externally with its sloped walls indented and it creates changing scenery during the day by the play of sunlight and shadow. Size of the grounds is large enough to achieve pleasant surroundings of the garden with individual functions, witch I tried to express in specialization of my bachelor´s work. Purposefully is property designed for a family with children and office for owner of the house. Thats why is villa divided by entry hallway in two basic section. First section - „South“, is designed for life of the family and there needs, second section - „North“ is designed for office with its allied rooms. Bachelor´s thesis consists of 77 A4 pages of text and 19 separate drawings.Prezenční226 - Katedra architekturyvelmi dobř

    Get PDF
This article describes process segmentation typology during business process management implementation in Czech companies. Process typology is important for a manager’s overview of process orientation as well as for a manager’s general understanding of business process management. This article provides insight into a process-oriented organizational structure. The first part analyzes process segmentation typology itself as well as some original results of quantitative research evaluating process segmentation typology in the specific context of Czech company strategies. Widespread data collection was carried out in 2006 and 2013. The analysis of this data showed that managers have more options regarding process segmentation and its selection. In terms of practicality and ease of use, the most frequently used method of process segmentation (managerial, main, and supportive) stems directly from the requirements of ISO 9001. Because of ISO 9001:2015, managers must now apply risk planning in relation to the selection of processes that are subjected to process management activities. It is for this fundamental reason that this article focuses on process segmentation typology

Práce popisuje prostorovou strukturu molekul bílkovin a databází uchovávajících representace této struktury, či její hierarchické klasifikace. Je poskytnut přehled současných metod výpočetní predikce struktury bílkovin, přičemž největší pozornost je soustředěna na komparativní modelování. Tato metoda je rovněž v základní podobě implementována a na závěr její implementace analyzována.This work describes the three dimensional structure of protein molecules and biological databases used to store information about this structure or its hierarchical classification. Current methods of computational structure prediction are overviewed with an emphasis on comparative modeling. This particular method is also implemented in a proof-of-concept program and finally, the implementation is analysed.

This paper represent the appropriate software support for Process Management, and those tools which are used in a whole range of Czech and world-class manufacturing production and non-manufacturing enterprises as well as in organizations and other public sector administration institutions. The innovation in the tuition process lies in the fact that this software is not used for modeling the processes within the university (the organization itself) ? but rather, that the students themselves model and analyze processes drawn from real-world praxis (working practices) in manufacturing production and non-manufacturing enterprises. The market forces of today?s business process (BP) development have begun to place an important emphasis on business process quality. Evidently, the quality of a business process model (BPM) highly influences the deployed business process. This motivated several researchers to propose metrics to evaluate the quality of BPM

Public procurement is a very important area of competitiveness development of the countries. Significant public sector financial resources are allocated through public procurement. Over the last decade, there has been a growing demand for an investigation of the efficiency of public procurement processes. In the research studies, analyses focusing on methodological aspects, efficiency assessment models, economic and transaction costs and other economic parameters in relation to public procurement have begun to appear gradually. Their importance has increased in the recent period, especially in the era associated with a lack of financial resources in the economic and social spheres. A correct determination of the mechanisms ensuring the implementation of transparent competition is able to allow improvement of competitive environment. Such aspects prompt this study, which is aimed at examination of the selected parameters of public procurement in the tertiary education sector and their impact on the final cost of the public procurement contract. There are no such sectoral analyses within the national environments, making it difficult to create an international comparative basis. The aim of the paper is to investigate the impact of the selected public procurement parameters on the final price. These parameters are subcontractor participation, European funds funding, usage of electronic auction, type of procured item, and procurement procedure. Besides these ones, public procurement processes also influence the final price. Approximately, a share of 95 % from the expected price is reflected in the final price, whilst a mean regression coefficient of the number of offers reaches a level of-17499.07 in the year 2017. The outcome of the analysis can help the procurers to identify the behavior of public procurement and to confirm or disprove the significance of the parameters that are examined using the quantitative methods. The results of this analysis are beneficial for national policymakers as well as national and international benchmarking. © 2019, Bucharest University of Economic Studies Publishing House. The aim of procurement is to achieve savings of public resources. Domestic and foreign studies point to the fact that the condition of achieving the savings is sufficient competition on the supply side. Slovakia currently belongs to the group of countries with low competition in public procurement deals. Furthermore, in this context we have compared the best practices of using public funds with regard to public procurement in the Czech Republic. The aim of this paper is to create and analyze models of the number of tenders subcontractor participation and open competition on the savings achieved in public procurement. Based on the Wilcoxon signed-rank test in the R software is demonstrated that public procurement in an average is a way to save public funds. Using linear regression in R program positive effect of the number of offers to saving process is identified. Across the investigated group as well as at dividing to limit and above the limit contracts, any further offer increased energy in average of 3%. Participation of the subcontractor has positive effect on savings in the whole study group and at above limit contracts over 1.35 million euros without value added tax. Open competition as a kind of public procurement is not statistically significant in pursuit of savings in procurement for a given sample. © 2017, Academy of Economic Studies from Bucharest.
