Education Sensor Set Focused on IR Radiation Principles
This bachelor thesis deals with the measurement of the infrared signal. The infrared spectrum of electromagnetic radiation is located behind the upper portion of the visible spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. The use of infrared radiation takes many forms, from temperature sensing to signal transmission.
Measuring infrared signal transmission between two devices is not always trouble-free - it is necessary to consider the distance of the device apart, the intensity of the transmitted signal and the angle that these devices make.
Therefore, the measurement of the success rate of data transmission of the infrared modulated signal in the form of a device intended for students was presented. Students can easily measure the success of the transferred data by the modulated infrared signal and, from the distance or signal dependence, determine the IR characteristic of the IR LED or the radiation angle from the angle of rotation of the transmitter to the receiver.450 - Katedra kybernetiky a biomedicínského inženýrstvívelmi dobř

Reducing ground vibration using underground barrier
z materiálů s různými vstupními parametry, o různých tloušťkách bariér a v různých vzdálenostech
od zdroje vibrací tak, aby mohla být posouzena optimální variantaThis paper deals with model study of underground barriers utilized as a protection against the
spread of ground vibrations in geological environment. These underground barriers maybe used in the
vicinity of roads or railway lines or in urban areas around the halls with heavy industrial activity.
The impact of barriers to the peak oscillation velocity is explained in mathematical models
created in software MIDAS GTS. Material of underground barriers will be designed from material
with different parameters, so that it could be assessed the best variant in terms of absorption of
seismic waves. The different variations of the thickness of underground barriers and different
distances from the source of vibration will be designed in the analysi
Numerical model of the dynamic load response in the real rock mass using Latin Hypercube Sampling method
parametr 20 hodnot. Maximální amplitudy rychlosti kmitání byly vypočteny pro 15 různě vzdálených
povrchových bodů od místa použití reverzní vibrační desky. Pro každou analyzovanou vzdálenost
byly výsledky statisticky zpracovány a stanoveny základní statistické charakteristiky získaného
This paper follows on previous paper “numerical model of the dynamic load response in the
soil using Latin hypercube sampling method”. In this paper the Latin Hypercube Sampling method
(LHS) is used in order to evaluate the values of input parameters of real rock environment. The
resulting values of the models were compared with the experimental in-site measurements. Twenty
input values were generated for each input parameter. The peak oscillation velocities were calculated
for 15 different surface points. The results were statistically analyzed in each distance (the basic
statistical characteristics were evaluated). Based on this stochastic analysis the attenuation curve of
the vibration velocity with the certain level of probability were determined
Loss factor estimation of the layered panels
The loss factor identification is the effective way to get the proper acoustic analysis in the virtual environment. Using the predictive model is a necessary part of the virtual development. The detection of the inappropriate materials or malfunction designs in the early phase of product development and can dramatically save the cost and development time. The loss factor is the nonlinear parameter for the material modeling of the noise suppression during acoustic analysis. The identification of the loss factor is necessary to perform on the real specimen. The Decay Rate Method is the effective methodology to get accurate results by using standard measuring equipment and is ideal to use in-situ environment. The article describes loss factor identification for plywood material and applications for the automotive industry for glass materials. The complete results analysis is confidential, but the overall procedure of the method is described in specimen analysis

Příspěvek se zabývá problematikou odezvy dynamického zatížení v horninovém prostředí
s využitím metod matematického modelování a stochastických simulačních metod. Modelově jsou
vyhodnocovány odpovídající hodnoty amplitud rychlostí kmitání v deseti různých vzdálenostech od
zdroje.

Loss factor estimation of the plywood materials
The acoustic analysis in virtual environment enables the design optimization in the earlier phase of the new product development in term of the noise suppression of the structure. The structural material damping behavior is the most important parameter for the predictive acoustic simulations. The method for the damping loss factor identification involves the measurement of the real specimen and post-processing analysis. The result of the estimation is the structural damping behavior of plywood materials needed for the virtual acoustic analysis
