Italy is facing its fifth week of crisis due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, with affected patients and deaths near to 70,000 and 6,000, respectively,(1)numbers that are increasing every day. Whether government imposition of quarantines, travel bans, and lockdown throughout the country will have effect in the next weeks in limiting the spreading of this disease has still to be seen. Meanwhile, a great spirit of sacrifice is required to health care personnel, and authorities have to manage resource allocation to rapidly increase the number of intensive care beds to assist patients with COVID-19.(2)Although operating rooms and a number of wards have been turned into dedicated intensive units, beds and resources are hardly sufficient to satisfy the needs of so many simultaneously critically ill patients.(3,4)Notably, among infected people, about 10% are health workers, and their number is increasing, also due to the scarcity of efficacious protective measures

In the development of information technology today, many companies have use da computerized system based to compete with other companies. In use, a computerized based system has helped many companies in various ways. The objective of this report is to analyze and design the systems that deal with manufacturing production in PT Interbis Sejahtera Palembang. Writing methodology that I use is divided into two, which is design using a methodology UML (Unified Modeling Language), whilefor the development, I use the iterations(Iterative) methodology. Inthismethodology, there are several stages, namely initiation systems, systems analysis, systems design and manufacturing systems. The system is expected to help and solve existing problems in PT Interbis Sejahtera Palembang and reduce errors that occur in the process of sale of goods, purchasing raw materials, supplies and assist in scheduling the production of goods and also help to ease and speed the report making

Industrial automation systems are based on open standard architectures definitions, in most cases proprietary technologies. In fieldbuses, the standard technology that describes the devices characteristics to the configuration software (HMI) - human machine interface, is proprietary and has high cost, named EDD (Electronic Device Description). Alternatively, the Open-EDD (Open Electronic Device Description) is an open and non-proprietary technology based on software standards. This paper describes the usage and validation of Open-EDD in two different applications: a real fieldbus system and a fieldbus simulation environment. The results validate the proposed technology and indicate that this can be applied to general fieldbus systems

Neurogenic Bladder Due to Hypoxic-Ischemic Demyelination

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Hypoxia is commonly known to target neuronal cell bodies. Although myelin is a non-infrequent target, posthypoxic demyelination is a rarely described entity. We describe the case of a man who developed neurogenic bladder following a motor vehicle accident. CASE REPORT Following a severe motor-vehicle accident involving massive blood loss, a 46-year-old man developed urinary urgency requiring catheterization, with hyperactive reflexes and bilateral Babinski signs on exam. RESULTS Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain and cervical cord revealed diffuse, isolated white matter signal abnormality in a symmetric, confluent distribution, extending inferiorly into the spinal cord, with changes consistent with bilateral Wallerian degeneration. Serologic and CSF evaluations were normal. CONCLUSIONS Unlike previous reports of hypoxic-ischemic demyelination, our patient lacked any cortical abnormalities, presumably due to isolated white matter changes. This report alerts physicians to the possibility of hypoxic-ischemic demyelination due to global hypoxia-ischemia as an etiologic factor for neurogenic bladder.
