Normal Vibrations in Near-Conservative Self-Excited and Viscoelastic Nonlinear Systems
International audienceA perturbation methodology and power series are utilized to the analysis of nonlinear normal vibration modes in broad classes of finite-dimensional self-excited nonlinear systems close to conservative systems taking into account similar nonlinear normal modes. The analytical construction is presented for some concrete systems. Namely, two linearly connected Van der Pol oscillators with nonlinear elastic characteristics and a simplest two-degrees-of-freedom nonlinear model of plate vibrations in a gas flow are considered. Periodical quasinormal solutions of integro-differential equations corresponding to viscoelastic mechanical systems are constructed using a convergent iteration process. One assumes that conservative systems appropriate for the dominant elastic interactions admit similar nonlinear normal modes
Vacuum Expectation Value of a Wegner-Wilson Loop near the Light Cone
Vacuum expectation values for one Wegner-Wilson loop representing a moving
quark-antiquark pair are calculated in four-dimensional Euclidean and Minkowski
space-time. The calculation uses gluon field strength correlators with
perturbative gluon exchange and non-perturbative correlations from the
stochastic vacuum model. The expectation value of a Wegner-Wilson loop forming
a hyperbolic angle in Minkowski space-time is connected by an analytical
continuation to the expectation value of the Wegner-Wilson loop in Euclidean
four-space. The obtained result shows how confinement enters into the
light-cone Hamiltonian for valence quarks independently of the chosen model.Comment: 12 pages, 2 figures, sections 2 and 3 shortened, more details added

Gluelump spectrum in the QCD string model
Spectrum of gluons in the adjoint source field is computed analytically using
the QCD string Hamiltonian, containing only one parameter - string tension,
fixed by meson and glueball spectrum. Spin splitting is shown to be small. A
good agreement is observed with spatially generated gluelump states measured on
the lattice. Important role of gluelumps defining the behaviour of
field-strength correlators is stressed and correspondence with earlier
computations of the latter is established.Comment: LaTeX, 18 pages, no figures, references and comments adde
Имамы оренбургских мечетей и их роль в сохранении мусульманских религиозных традиций в 1940-е–1980-е годы
Similar issues are dealt with in the article of Konstantin Morgunov based on the archival data from the Orenburg region of the South Urals. He especially focuses on the life stories of local imams in the context of the history of their communities. The author analyses also the texts of official preaching, discovering an unavoidable influence of Soviet ideological instructions on public sermons of Muslim preachers. Such demonstrative loyalty, Morgunov argues, was an inevitable condition of religious communities' survival in the circumstances of official atheist policy.
