Organizational Theories Within the Context of Human Resource Marketing

    Get PDF
Human Resource Marketing with all its sub-processes, sub-fields and research areas is subject to constant development and change. External circumstances like unemployment, lack of qualified and trained employees etc. force organizations to constantly rethink their approach to human Resource Marketing processes like e.g. recruiting. Organizational theories may hereby support the understanding of these complex and sometimes abstract procedures as they give guidance how to cope with this issue. The paper displays recent approaches to connect Human Resource Marketing and Organizational Theories in a way that can be used in different contexts. Hereby organizational Theories are one possibility to explain the need of change for Human Resource Marketing and its processes. The discussions about the different models of change and the variety of views of management and organization fortify - at the end of the paper - the difficult task to decide for only one model. It must be clear that Human Resource Marketing should be treated as a multidimensional concept. Nevertheless, Organizational Theories can be recommended as one approach to measure a company´s organizational performance. Human Resource Marketing´s integration into Organization Theory is not an easy to fulfill task and leaves way to further considerations in the area of Human Resource Management and its Marketing approach

Peer-to-Peering beyond the Horizon: Can a P2P Network Avoid Liability by Adapting Its Technological Structure?

Peer-to-peer networks are often used to infringe copyrights, but they also serve some legitimate purposes consistent with copyright law. In attempting to find a satisfactor solution, this note develops and analyzes two models that future peer-to-peer networks could employ to attempt to avoid liability for copyright infringement. The note then analyzes the law, applies the two models to the relevant legal tests, and analyzes whether a peer-to-peer network operating on each model could avoid liability for copyright infringement. It concludes that modifying their technological structure may help peer-to-peer networks avoid liability, but that some risks remain

High-performance nn-type organic field-effect transistors with ionic liquid gates

High-performance nn-type organic field-effect transistors were developed with ionic-liquid gates and N,N"^"-bis(n-alkyl)-(1,7 and 1,6)-dicyanoperylene-3,4:9,10-bis(dicarboximide)s single-crystals. Transport measurements show that these devices reproducibly operate in ambient atmosphere with negligible gate threshold voltage and mobility values as high as 5.0 cm2^2/Vs. These mobility values are essentially identical to those measured in the same devices without the ionic liquid, using vacuum or air as the gate dielectric. Our results indicate that the ionic-liquid and nn-type organic semiconductor interfaces are suitable to realize high-quality nn-type organic transistors operating at small gate voltage, without sacrificing electron mobility
