Biogeography of Tick-Borne Bhanja Virus (Bunyaviridae) in Europe

Bhanja virus (BHAV) is pathogenic for young domestic ruminants and also for humans, causing fever and affections of the central nervous system. This generally neglected arbovirus of the family Bunyaviridae is transmitted by metastriate ticks of the genera Haemaphysalis, Dermacentor, Hyalomma, Rhipicephalus, Boophilus, and Amblyomma. Geographic distribution of BHAV covers southern and Central Asia, Africa, and southern (partially also central) Europe. Comparative biogeographic study of eight known natural foci of BHAV infections in Europe (in Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovakia) has revealed their common features. (1) submediterranean climatic pattern with dry growing season and wet mild winter (or microlimatically similar conditions, e.g., limestone karst areas in central Europe), (2) xerothermic woodland-grassland ecosystem, with plant alliances Quercetalia pubescentis, Festucetalia valesiacae, and Brometalia erecti, involving pastoral areas, (3) presence of at least one of the tick species Haemaphysalis punctata, Dermacentor marginatus, Rhipicephalus bursa, and/or Hyalomma marginatum, and (4) presence of ≥60% of the 180 BHAV bioindicator (157 plant, 4 ixodid tick, and 19 vertebrate spp.). On that basis, Greece, France (southern, including Corsica), Albania, Spain, Hungary, European Turkey, Ukraine (southern), Switzerland (southern), Austria (southeastern), Germany (southern), Moldova, and European Russia (southern) have been predicted as additional European regions where BHAV might occur

Cílem diplomové práce je analýza vlivu lidského kapitálu a jeho jednotlivých složek na ekonomickou vyspělost afrických zemí. Diplomová práce je napsána ve formě deskriptivní a komparativní analýzy. V rámci praktické části je využita regresní analýza a analýza předchozích studií. Lidský kapitál je definován jako soubor znalostí a dovedností, které lidské získávají v průběhu školního vzdělávání, praxe nebo v rámci jiných vzdělávacích aktivit. První část práce je zaměřena na lidský kapitál v teorii a empirii ekonomického růstu. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na úroveň lidského kapitálu v afrických zemích. Poslední třetí část diplomové práce je zaměřena na analýzu vlivu lidského kapitálu na ekonomickou vyspělost afrických zemí měřenou HDP na obyvatele. Výsledky analýzy potvrdily významný vliv lidského kapitálu na ekonomickou vyspělost afrických zemí. V rámci jednotlivých složek lidského kapitálu se jako nejvýznamnější projevila pravděpodobnost přežití dětí do 5-ti let věku.The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the influence of human capital and its individual components on the economic level of African countries. The diploma thesis is written in the form of descriptive and comparative analysis. The practical part uses regression analysis and analysis of previous studies. Human capital is defined as a set of knowledge and skills that humans acquire during school education, work experience or other educational activities. The first part of the work is focused on human capital in the theory and empirics of economic growth. The second part is focused on the level of human capital in African countries. The last third part of the thesis is focused on the impact of human capital on the economic level of African countries. The results of the analysis confirmed the significant impact of human capital on the economic level of African countries. Pension Červený potok

Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh objektu penzionu ve vesnici Červený Potok, v obci Králíky, v okrese Ústí nad Orlicí v Pardubickém kraji. Jedná se o částečně podsklepený objekt se dvěmi nadzemními podlažími a jedním podzemním podlažím. V objektu se nachází prostory restaurace a 10 ubytovacích pokojů. Konstrukční systém je zděný. Obvodové stěny v suterénu jsou ze ztraceného bednění vyplněných betonem. Zdivo nadzemních podlaží je z keramických zdících prvků. Stropní konstrukce jsou monolitické, železobetonové. Budova je zateplena certifikovaným systémem ETICS. Střešní plášť je tvořen dvouplášťovou šikmou střechou ze sbíjených dřevěných vazníků.The subject of the master´s thesis is the design of a pension building in the village of Červený Potok, in a city of Králíky, in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí in the Pardubice region. It is a partialy basement building with two above-ground floors and one underground floor. The building has restaurant premises and ten accommodation rooms. The building has brick supporting systém. The vertical laodbearing structures are built from lost formwork filled with concrete. The masonry of the above-ground floors is made of ceramic masonry elements. The ceiling structures are monolitic, reinforced concrete. The building is insulated with certified ETICS systém. The roof shell consists of a double-skin pitched roof made of hammered wooden trusses.

Construction of single-purpose machine for grinding bricks LI CRETE

Diplomová práce se zabývá konstrukčním návrhem jednoúčelového stroje pro broušení betonových světlopropustných cihel LiCrete, které jsou novým designovým stavebním prvkem pro interiéry. Po odlití cihly je nutno provést finální úpravu povrchu obroušením s vysokou přesností. Současně se brousí beton i polymethylmetha-krylátové (PMMA) světlopropustné prvky. Broušení probíhá za mokra a je zde důležité dodržet šířku i vzhledové vlastnosti cihel. V rešeršní části je popsán současný stav poznání související s řešenou problematikou broušení cihel LiCrete. V další části jsou navrženy koncepční varianty řešení. Následuje konstrukční řešení, které obsahuje kompletní konstrukci jednoúčelového stroje s přiloženou výkresovou dokumentací. Na závěr tato práce obsahuje koncepční návrh linky pro kontinuální broušení cihel na jeden průjezd s vysokou produktivitou.The aim of this thesis is to design a one-purpose machine for grinding concrete light-permeable bricks LiCrete. The bricks LiCrete are a new interior design component. The final step of manufacturing is wet grinding with high quality and accuracy. At the same time it is grinded the concrete and light-permeable parts made by polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). It is important to keep size and quality appearance of the bricks. The research part contains description of the problems related to the grinding of the bricks LiCrete. The next part is about conceptual variants of the solution. The construction contains the complex solution of one-purpose machine with technical drawings. The last part include a conceptual design of continuous high-productive machine for grinding LiCrete bricks.

Comparison of Human Capital in the Czech Republic and Selected European Countries

Bakalářská práce je napsána ve formě deskriptivní a komparativní analýzy. Cílem práce je zjištění úrovně lidského kapitálu v České republice v porovnání s vybranými zeměmi Evropy. První část práce je zaměřená na teorii lidského kapitálu a jeho vlivu na ekonomický růst. Lidský kapitál je definován jako soubor znalostí a dovedností, které člověk získá převážně v procesu vzdělání a praktické činnosti. Druhá část práce je zaměřená na metody zkoumání a měření lidského kapitálu. Poslední třetí část práce je zaměřená na samotné srovnání úrovně lidského kapitálu v České republice s vybranými zeměmi Evropy.The bachelor thesis is written in the form of descriptive and comparative analysis.
