Zkušenost setrvale provokovaná teorií

Traktát byl motivován výroční vzpomínkou na světově významného fyzika Ernsta Macha. Ten už ve své knize o mechanice tvrdil, že základem veškerého vědeckého poznání a jeho konceptů je smyslová zkušenost. Chtěl se vyhnout metafyzice; tím, že by se nesnažil nic vysvětlovat, nýbrž že by jen jevy popisoval na základě elementárních počitků (elementů) zjištěných pozornou observací. Příspěvek si všímá předchozí intelektuální tradice. Na reálných příkladech uvádí, že lze predikovat také z modelu, který musí reálně vypadat jinak; nebo že dnešní věda pracuje také s koncepty, které jsou nositeli významů vymykajících se zcela názorné zkušenosti. Klade pak tři otázky: 1) Nepočínáme si z hlediska „smyslových dat“ (a induktivismu) absurdně? 2) Je rostoucí údiv k výsledkům vědy oprávněný? 3) Pokud dříve chodila teorie v závěsu za praxí, není tomu teď spíše naopak?Traktát byl motivován výroční vzpomínkou na světově významného fyzika Ernsta Macha. Mach’s book on mechanics asserted that the basis of all scientific knowledge and its concepts consist of sense experience. He thus wanted to sidestep metaphysics, not wanting to explain anything but describing all phenomena on the basis of elemental sense impressions traced by means of attentive observation. This contribution pays attention to the historically preceding intellectual tradition. Quoting real examples it shows that we are able to predict from models which, in reality, must function in some other way, or again, we well know that contemporary science also works with concepts being vehicles of meanings totally outside of any illustrative experience. Three questions have been asked here: 1) From the viewpoint of “sense data” (and inductivism) do we not act foolishly? 2) Is the rising amazement concerning the results of science legitimate? 3) If in the past theories followed practice, isn’t the contemporary sequence reversed

Family house with bookshop in Brno

Práce řeší projektovou dokumentaci rodinného domu s knihkupectvím v Brně. Objekt je navržen jako třípodlažní s částečným podsklepením a garáží. Rodinný dům je obdelníkového tvaru, osazený do mírně sklonitého terénu. V podzemním podlaží je situována technická místnost a sklepní prostory. První nadzemní podlaží slouží k provozním účelům. Je zde umístěno knihkupectví se zázemím pro zaměstnance a garáž. Přístup ke knihkupectví a prodejní plocha je řešena bezbarierově. V dalších nadzemních podlažích jsou dva samostatné byty pro čtyřčlennou až pětičlennou rodinu. Objekt obsahuje terasu a balkony. Zastřešen je sedlovou střechou. Objekt svým architektonickým a proporčním řešením zapadá do okolní zástavby.The thesis solves a project documentation of family house with bookshop in Brno. The object is designed as a three-floor with partial basement and garage. Family house is rectangular in shape, staffed by sloping terrain. In basement is situated technical room and cellars. The first floor is used for operating purposes. Here is located bookshop with facilities for employees and garage. Acces road to the bookshop and sales area indoors are designed for disabled person. In other floors are two independent flats for family of four to five. Object includes terrace and balconies. Object is covered by a gable roof. Architectural and proportional design of the building fits into surrounding development.

Miniature stereoamplifier

Úkolem této práce bylo navrhnout a zkonstruovat koncový stereofonní zesilovač se síťovým napájením optimalizovaný pro dosažení co nejmenších rozměrů, vybavený korektorem hloubek a výšek, regulátorem hlasitosti, umlčovačem a indikací limitace. Bylo požadováno užití integrovaného výkonového zesilovače. Vlastní obvodové řešení je založeno na stejnosměrně řízeném integrovaném korekčním předzesilovači LM1036, koncovém stupni TDA7262 a řadě podpůrných obvodů pro realizaci přepínání umlčení, teplotních ochran a indikátoru limitace. Realizovaný vzorek zesilovače má výstupní výkon 2 x 20 W, odstup signálu od šumu 83,7 dB a frekvenční charakteristiku v tolerančním pásmu 3 dB v rozsahu 16 až 20 000 Hz.The aim of this thesis was to design and construct a mains powered stereo power amplifier with minimal overall dimensions, equipped with a mute and tone/volume control circuit. The usage of an integrated power amplifier circuit was required. The circuit solution is based on a DC controlled integrated tone and volume control circuit LM1036, power amplifier TDA7262 and a number of supporting circuits for mute switching and temperature protection. An assembled sample of amplifier has 2 x 20 watts of output power, SNR 83,7 dB and a flat frequency response within the range of 3 dB for inputs from 16 to 20 000 Hz.

Low-energy detached family house

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zpracováním projektové dokumentace nízkoenergetického samostatně stojícího rodinného domu v Račerovicích. Projekt a přílohy jsou zpracovány dle současně platných zákonů, vyhlášek a norem. Rodinný dům leží na parcele č. 786/12 v katastrálním území Račerovice. Dům je dvoupodlažní. Rozměry domu jsou 12,40 x 9,65 m, rozměry přilehlé garáže jsou 7,30 x 4,80 m. Zastřešení domu je řešeno šikmou střechou, nad garáží je plochá střecha. Objekt je navržen ze systému Porotherm. Základové konstrukce tvoří prostý beton a podkladní betonová deska. Přiložená seminární práce se zabývá tématem podlah.This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the development of documentation a low-energy detached family house in Račerovice. The project as well as the addenda are elaborated with regard to contemporary legislation and standards. The family house is located on plot number 786/12 in cadastre unit Račerovice. The house has two floors. Dimensions of the house are 12,40 x 9,65 m, dimensions adjacent garage are 7,30 x 4,80 m. The roof of the building is designed pitched roof, over the garage is flat roof. The house is performed from the system Porotherm. The basic construction are of plain concrete and the base concrete slab. The enclosed essay deals with floor.

Langfristige (1968-1990) und jahreszeitliche Dynamik der planktischen Diatomeen im Neusiedlersee

Nach Artenzahl und Menge repräsentieren die Diatomeen die Wichtigste Algengruppe im Neusiedler See/Fertő (Österreich/Ungarn), einem groβen Flachsee. Vergleichen mit den hunderten Arten des Periphytons ist die Artenzahl der Planktondiatomeen allerdings gering. Die Dynamik dieser Populationen wird von wenigen Arten geprägt, zu denen Chaetoceros muelleri, Cyclotella spp. (im wesentlichen C. meneghiniana), kleine zentrische Formen, kleine Fragilaria-Arten (v.a. F. construens), Synedra acus, Campylodiscus clypeus und Surirella peisonis gehören. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Seen weisen die Diatomeen im Neusiedler See keinen ausgeprägten Jahresgang auf. Zwischen Jänner und Dezember bewegen sich die Biomassewerte zwischen 294 und 778 µg 1(-1) (Mittelwert 550 µg 1(-1)) was im 22-jährigen Durchschnitt etwa 50% der Gesamtbiomasse ausmacht. Einige Arten, wie etwa Surirella, Campylodiscus und Chaetoceros sind im Sommer quantitativ häufiger. Die kleinen Nitzschien hingegen haben zu dieser Zeit ihr Minimum. Andere Arten treten das ganze Jahr über in ziemlich gleichen Mengen auf. Der Anteil der Diatomeen an der Gesamtbiomasse lag in den 60er und 70er Jahren um 70% und ging in der darauffolgenden Dekade auf 30-40% zurück als Folge der zunehmenden Bedeutung zunächst der rünalgen und später der Blaualgen. In den letzten Jahren traten die Kieselalgen wieder vermehrt auf und ihr Anteil an der Gesamtbiomasse stieg wieder auf 60%. Die geringe saisonale Abfolge in der Biomasse des Phytoplanktons geht wohl auf die ständige Lichtlimitation des Wachstums infolge der hohen Trübung des Wassers im Neusiedler See zurück. Zwischen der Biomasse der Diatomeen und dem Sestongehalt des Wassers besteht eine gute Beziehung (r=0,55; p<0,1). Zu Ortophosphat, Nitrat und Ammonium lieβ sich hingegen keine Korrelation herstellen. Für die Änderungen der Artenzusammensetzung des Phytoplanktons in den 70er Jahren war jedoch die Veränderung der Nährstoffverhältnisse im See von entscheidener Bedeutung

How Czech firms deal with operational budgets? – Survey results

In recent decades, academics and practitioners started a deep discussion about the limitations and perspectives of enterprise budgeting systems. Traditional budgets are frequently criticized due to their inflexibility, weak connection to corporate performance and demand on manager’s time. Recently, we have observed more frequent examples of firms which have undertaken budgeting system transformation and the adoption of modern, flexible and performance-based budgets. In this study, we have studied some trends in the budgeting of Czech firms with a focus on the manager´s behaviour. This paper contributes to the existing knowledge in two fields: Firstly, it summarizes the existing state of the art regarding the budgeting transformation; secondly, it presents the survey results focused on the operational budget utilization and its impact on the manager’s behaviour. Overall, the study presents some findings regarding the impact of an operational budget on the manager’s behaviour. The perception of budgeting in Czech firms - results of a survey

Research background: Budgeting was developed during the Great Depression as a managerial tool to help enterprises survive a critical period characterized by fluctuations in macroeconomic indicators. Now, after more than eighty years, budgeting is criticized for the same reason why it was created - for lack of adaptability to unexpected changes in the business environment. Based on these facts, the presented study focuses on the specifics of budgeting in the current business environment. Purpose of the article: The aim of the work is to explore selected aspects of budgeting process in Czech firms, and to assess how the budgetary process is influenced by the progression of the business environment. Methods: To achieve presented target, the authors designed the questionnaire survey submitted to employees of companies in the Czech Republic. Findings & Value added: The first part of this paper displays the state of knowledge on budgeting, the following part presents results of the survey.
