Testing Method of Stent’s Radial Force

    Get PDF
In case of coronary arteriosclerosis and heart attack balloon-expandable stents are used. These balloon crimped implants are placed to the occluded vessel part and the balloons are pumped with big pressure (4-20 bar). The opened stents ensure the continuously flow of the blood in the opened lumen. The implants have to sustain the outer load from the vessel wall and have to keep the lumen open. In this study a method was worked out which valuating the radial force of the balloon expandable coronary stents. In an experimental program many types of methods were tested to find the best one

SUCCESS FACTORS OF CHANGE IN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

    Get PDF
The goal of our study is to examine, how the logic of change management implementation and analysing raster of success factors helps to lay the foundation of building up knowledge management system. We led our research first of all along theoretical basis building upon technical literature. We present a generally utilized changing logic extracting those essential elements that get similar importance in the course of building up a learning organizational culture. As a result of our work we established that the utilization of change management logic is indispensable for the successful formation of corporate knowledge management system. Accordingly with the appearance of the demand on continuous learning and putting the individual in the centre both on individual- group- and organizational level simplify work. Comparing the two logics confirms our hypothesis.organization, change management, knowledge, learning organization, knowledge management.

GD 99 - an unusual, rarely observed DAV white dwarf

New observations of GD 99 are analysed. The unusual pulsation behaviour, showing both long and short periods, has been confirmed. All the available periods show a grouping of short and long period modes with roughly regular spacing. If we interpret the groups separately, a binary nature can be a possible explanation as in the similar cases of WD 2350-0054 and G29-38.Comment: 2 pages, 1 eps figure; has been accepted for publication in Communications in Asteroseismology (Vol. 150, 2007), Proceedings of the Vienna Workshop on the Future of Asteroseismolog

    Mechanical Properties of Coronary Veins

    Get PDF
There are several publications available and experiments were done regarding to the vessel biomechanical properties. In the range we could find in vitro and in vivo assessments data for elasticity properties. Even though we have many results in this topic we still don’t have enough data for special veins. Three coronary veins were investigated from pig’s heart. The aim of these experiments was to define and measure the longitudinal tensile stress and tensile strength of coronary veins. The tensile tests were done successfully and the tensile stress was defined in the range of 1.66-2.57 MPa

Examination of the coatings of coronary stents

    Get PDF
In our study the main properties of coated coronary stents are shown, such as foreshortening, recoil, surface features and failures and the expansion properties. The types and the effects of active and passive coatings are introduced. The results of our examinations with different coated coronary stents are shown as well

„…a hazai gazdaságtörténet alapítójának és mesterének hálás ragaszkodással…” : Tagányi Károly a Magyar Gazdaságtörténelmi Szemle élén (1894–1901)

KÁROLY TAGÁNYI AND THE HUNGARIAN REVIEW OF ECONOMIC HISTORY (1894–1901) Károly Tagányi (1858–1924) was a historian, archivist and ethnographer. In course of his search for adequate methodology, he began to study economic history, which proved to be a determinative turn in his oeuvre. He was a member of the editorial board of the Hungarian Review of Economic History (Magyar Gazdaságtörténelmi Szemle, 1894–). The editor-in-chief of the journal was formally Alajos Paikert, yet, until 1901 Tagányi had a major impact on the contents of the journal and the selection of the authors. During these years Tagányi published two monographs, namely, A földközösség története Magyarországon (The history of common lands in Hungary) in 1894 and Magyar erdészeti oklevéltár (‘Hungarian archival documents of forestry’) in 1896. He also published a number of papers on economic history in Magyar Gazdaságtörténelmi Szemle. The author in her article presents the manuscript legacy of Károly Tagányi preserved in the National Széchényi Library. These so far unexplored documents provide data about the edition of Gazdaságtörténelmi Szemle and may offer alternative interpretations about Tagányi’s study of economic history

Analytic solutions to the boundary layer problem over a stretching wall

    Get PDF
AbstractAnalytic solutions to similarity boundary layer equations are given for boundary layer flows of Newtonian fluid over a stretching wall with power law stretching velocity. The existence of analytic solutions is proven. The Crane’s solution is generalized and recurrence relations are obtained for the determination of coefficients of the exponential series
