    High Input Impedance Voltage-Mode Biquad Filter Using VD-DIBAs

    This paper deals with a single-input multiple-output biquadratic filter providing three functions (low-pass, high-pass and band-pass) based on voltage differencing differential input buffered amplifier (VD-DIBA). The quality factor and pole frequency can be electronically tuned via the bias current. The proposed circuit uses two VD-DIBAs and two grounded capacitors without any external resistors, which is suitable to further develop into an integrated circuit. Moreover, the circuit possesses high input impedance, providing easy voltage-mode cascading. It is shown that the filter structure can be easily extended to multi-input filter without any additional components, providing also all-pass and band-reject properties. The PSPICE simulation and experimental results are included, verifying the key characteristics of the proposed filter. The given results agree well with the theoretical presumptions

    Diplomová práce se zabývá zpracováním projektové dokumentace pro provádění stavby objektu autosalon ve městě Žďár nad Sázavou. Projekt a přílohy jsou převážně zpracovány dle současně platných zákonů, vyhlášek a norem. Navrhovaný objekt se nachází na parcele č. 6167/2. Parcela je součástí katastrálního území města Žďár nad Sázavou. Území, na kterém je objekt navržen je podle územního plánu z roku 2010 vedeno jako zastavitelné území. V blízkosti jsou vedeny všechny potřebné inženýrské sítě. Objekt je funkčně rozdělen na dvě části, které jsou ovšem všechny provozně i stavebně propojeny. První část tvoří výstavní sál o kapacitě 7 vystavovaných modelů vozidel. Dále je tvořena administrativním zázemím pro personál včetně hygienického zázemí pro zaměstnance i návštěvníky. Druhou část tvoří autoservis pro osobní a lehká užitková vozidla se čtyřmi pracovními stání. Stavba je navržena z železobetonového sloupového konstrukčního systému. Půdorysný rozměr autosalonu je 31,06x22,6m. Půdorysný rozměr autoservisu je 30,74x18,84m. Obvodový plášť autosalonu je navržený z keramických tvárnic tl.250mm. Obvodový plášť autoservisu je navržený ze sendvičových panelů. Zastřešení objektu je v celé ploše plochou střechou. Založení objektu je kombinace základových patek a základových pasů. Výstavní sál je z více jak 50% plochy obvodového pláště prosklenou konstrukcí lehkého obvodového pláště. Část autosalonu a autoservis jsou navrženy jako jednopodlažní objekty, zatímco administrativní část je navržena jako dvoupodlažní.This master thesis is focused on elaboration of project documentation for constructing autosalon in Žďár nad Sázavou. Project and appendix are processed by current applicable laws, regulations and standarts. Designed object is situated on plat #6167/2. Both plat sis parts of cadastral area of Žďár nad Sázavou. There are all needed engineering netwoeks nearby. Object is divided on two functional parts, which are operationally and constructionally connected. First part is exhibition and representatice hall, which are capacity of 7 exhibited vehicles. Other partis formed by administrative facilities for staff including sanitary facilities for both staff and visitors. Second part is service for personal and light commercial vehicles with four working stations. Construction is designed reinforced concrete columnar structural system. Plan dimension autosalon is 31,06x22,6m. Plan dimension autoservise is 30,74x18,84m. The cladding autosalon is designed of ceramic tile 250mm. The cladding autoservis is designed of sandwich panel. Roof of building accross the surface is flat roof. Establishment of the object is a combination of footings and foundation belts. Cladding of exhibition hal lis more than 50% glazed. Parts of autosalon and autoservise are designed as sigle storey objects, while administrative part is designed as a two.

    Quantum versus classical descriptions of sub-Poissonian light generation in three-wave mixing

    Sub-Poissonian light generation in the non-degenerate three-wave mixing is studied numerically and analytically within quantum and classical approaches. Husimi Q-functions and their classical trajectory simulations are analysed to reveal a special regime corresponding to the time-stable sub-Poissonian photocount statistics of the sum-frequency mode. Conditions for observation of this regime are discussed. Theoretical predictions of the Fano factor and explanation of the extraordinary stabilization of the sub-Poissonian photocount behavior are obtained analytically by applying the classical trajectories. Scaling laws for the maximum sub-Poissonian behavior are found. Noise suppression levels in the non-degenerate vs degenerate three-wave mixing are discussed on different time scales compared to the revival times. It is shown that the non-degenerate conversion offers much better stabilization of the suppressed noise in comparison to that of degenerate process.Comment: 9 pages, 12 figures, to be published in J.     Import 29/09/2010Tématem diplomové práce je Protikorozní ochrana ocelových dálkových přivaděčů pitné vody. Tomuto zadání odpovídá i cíl práce, kterým je seznámení s problematikou koroze obecně na ocelových trubních systémech, jejich ochrana a zjišťování stavu izolace výkopovými i bezvýkopovými metodami. V diplomové práci se podrobněji zabývám metodami protikorozní ochrany, a to jak teoreticky, tak i v praxi, jak je realizována v OVAK a.s. Pro pochopení problematiky koroze ocelových trubních systémů je nutno porozumět, za jakých okolností a jakým způsobem koroze vzniká. Na základě těchto znalostí pak lze určit konkrétní opatření protikorozní ochrany. Pro zjišťování stavu izolace přivaděčů se používá široká škála technických prostředků od zkoušek v laboratorním prostředí až po kontrolu v terénu. Vybudování nebo optimalizaci pasivní či aktivní ochrany dálkových přivaděčů je třeba zvolit s ohledem na stav těchto přivaděčů, místní podmínky a ekonomickou situaci vlastníka nebo provozovatele vodovodní infrastruktury.The subject of this thesis is The corrosion protection of the steel long distance water supply conduits. According to this theme, the main goal of this work is the apprising of the steel water mains corrosion general issues, the ways of their protection, both the trench and trenchless diagnosis of their coating. Particularly I deal with the theoretical methods of the corrosion protection and with practical experience as they are implemented in OVAK Inc. To be able to understand the steel mains corrosion problems it is necessary to comprehend the conditions for and the way how the corrosion process originates. Based on this knowledge it is possible then to define particular action to prevent corrosion. The coating condition detection is performed by the means of large scale of technical tools ranging from the laboratory experiments to on-field functional tests.     A Twisting Electrovac Solution of Type II with the Cosmological Constant

    An exact solution of the current-free Einstein-Maxwell equations with the cosmological constant is presented. It is of Petrov type II, and its double principal null vector is geodesic, shear-free, expanding, and twisting. The solution contains five constants. Its electromagnetic field is non-null and aligned. The solution admits only one Killing vector and includes, as special cases, several known solutions.Comment: 4 pages, LaTeX 2e, no figures. The present (second) version, identical to that published in General Relativity and Gravitation, is derived from the first version by presenting the admitted Killing vector, and by adding the last paragraph, two footnotes (here Footnotes 1 and 3), and two references (here Refs.     “The Words of My Mouth Shall They Be, Yet the Will of the Greeks”. A Representation of the “Diplomatic Mission” in Act III of Troas by Łukasz Górnicki

    The study is an analysis and interpretation of a scene from Łukasz Górnicki’s tragedy Troas (1589), a translation of Seneca’s Troades. A comparison to the original as well as the description of changes introduced by the translator serve to capture a special phenomenon of emphasising the analogy between Ulysses’s and a diplomat’s activity. Starting with the main character’s first line, the words: “durae minister sortis” were translated as “Ja, co poselstwo niosę”. The analysis of this issue shows that the role of Ulysses (who does not negotiate with a representative of a sovereign country, but with a captive woman) cannot be equated with the role of an ambassador. Conversely, it combines in itself the features characteristic of diplomatic staff of various ranks, including characters operating on the edge of the law. The consilium ascribed to Ulysses enables to explore the secret of Andromacha by observing physical symptoms of emotions. This makes it possible for Górnicki to define the main character’s ingenuity as “dowcip odwrócony na nice” which, irrespective of Seneca’s original, refers to the terminology used earlier in Dworzanin polski, where dowcip (wit) is the equivalent of ingegno. Among the ethical elements of Ulysses’s speeches one should name, above all, his desire to convince Andromacha to accept the Greek’s line of argumentation. This, in turn, provides good framework for parallelism with the New Testament (Lk 2:35). The last part of the work, devoted to pathos, addresses the problem of a mismatch between the role of Ulysses and diplomacy codes in Górnicki’s times. The main character does not limit himself to conducting well thought-out negotiations, but he also uses direct violence. Similar dissonance in character construction seems to make the representation of diplomatic practices in Górnicki’s translation a problematic task, given the socio-political tensions in Europe in the second half of sixteenth century
