    Channels and Marketing Margins of Tuna (Euthynnus Sp) Catches of Fishermen in Karangasem District, Karangasem Regency, Bali

    This study aims to examine the forms of marketing channels and assess the value of marketing margins at each marketing institution involved in the marketing process of fishing tuna caught in Karangasem District, Karangasem Regency, Bali. This study uses a survey method using a questionnaire tool. Sampling techniques for fishermen have used proportional random sampling techniques or sample selection based on certain elements and categories while for intermediary traders and consumers the snowball sampling method, or the method of taking samples from a population. Data analysis was performed descriptively and cost margin analysis. The results showed that there were 4 marketing channels for tuna fish caught by fishermen in Karangasem Subdistrict, Karangasem Regency, Bali, namely marketing channel I from Fishermen to Retailers to Final Consumers with a margin of Rp.1,500 where retailers bought at Rp.2,000 then sold to consumers for Rp.3,500 marketing channel II from fishermen to brokers to collectors to processors to stall traders and to end consumers with a margin of Rp.4.131 marketing channel III from fishermen to brokers to collectors to market traders to stall traders to end consumers with a margin of Rp.3.131 marketing channel IV from fishermen to brokers to collectors to market traders to consumers with a margin of Rp.2,131. Marketing margins in each marketing channel, namely in the marketing channel I retailer margin Rp.1,500. In the marketing channel II, the middleman received a margin of Rp.681 collectors Rp.200- processing Rp.1,500, and stall traders Rp.1,750. In channel III the middleman gets a margin of Rp.681 collectors Rp.200 market traders Rp.750 and at the level of a stall trader Rp.1,500. In channel IV the middleman gets a margin of Rp.681 at the level of collectors Rp.200 at the market trader level Rp.1,250. From the four channels, it is known that the largest margin distribution is at retailers reaching 100 percent and the smallest margin distribution at collectors reaches 4.8 percent.     Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dengan Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan Mina Anakan Jepun dan Unit Pembenihan Rakyat (UPR) di Desa Bebetin, Kecamatan Sawan, Kabupaten Buleleng adalah berdasarkan kebutuhan kelompok tani mitra untuk memproduksi benih ikan Nila baik secara kuantitas maupun berkualitas melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna yaitu pemijahan ikan menggunakan “Kantong Jaring Tenggelam” dan panen benih menggunakan “Jaring Gelar” serta penerapan manajemen administrasi kegiatan kelompok pada kelompok mitra. Teknologi ini sangat diharapkan mengingat sampai saat ini kelompok belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan benih ikan nila untuk pembudidaya ikan KJA di Danau Batur. Kelompok mitra yang telah diberikan penyuluhan & diskusi, pelatihan manajemen administrasi kegiatan kelompok dan praktek pemijahan ikan penggunakan “kantong jaring tenggelam” dan praktek panen benih menggunkan “jaring gelar”, telah mengikuti kegiatan dengan serius dan 95 persen (%) peserta mampu menenerapkan teknologi tepat guna yang telah diprogramkan. Hasil praktek penggunakan alat pemijahan dengan “kantong jaring tenggelam” dan penen benih dengan “jaring gelar”, dapat menghasilkan benih dengan daya hidup 99% dimana sebelumnya hanya bisa mencapai kurang dari 50%. Demikian pula benih yang dikirim sampai kepada konsumen benih (para Pembudidaya ikan di Danau Batur) dapat mecapai daya hidup 100% dibandingkan sebelumnya maksimal mencapai 70%.     Empowerment of Sector Outside Agriculture as One of The World Started Land Resources

    The porpuse of this research is to know how big result of work outside agriculture sector can give guarantee of survival of farmer's household in Cemagi Village, Mengwi Sub-district, Badung Regency, Bali Province. The method used in the research is purporsive sampling method is a way of determining the location deliberately on the basis of consideration. The village is one of the villages that most of the farmers use their spare time to do work outside the agricultural sector, and no similar research has ever been done. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires. The data is analyzed by dividing household income from outside agriculture sector with the total income of farmer household and then suppressed. Data the results of the interview if the respondents data interviewed showed that the work outside the agricultural sector utilized by most of the villagers of Cemagi who worked as farmers to improve the welfare of farm households doing work outside the agricultural sector on the sidelines of time to spare. The results of the analysis of respondents if the data data show work outside the agricultural sector that is utilized by most of the people of Cemagi Village who work as farmers to improve the welfare of household farmers as much; 24.05%, doing work outside the agricultural sector on the sidelines of leisure time. The work done include: as a builder of the house accounted for 31.35%, as sand transport workers as much as 24.75%, and the rest there as a truck driver. As hotel employee and villa 28.80 % and as 16.52% of the rest there are as entrepreneurs and others. Looking at the considerable contribution of the carpentry sector, the work can still be undertaken by the farmers of respondents as long as no other work is considered better in helping to increase the income of farm households.     THE POTENTIAL OF BAMBOO & BAMBOO-WASTE AS SOURCE OF SUPPLY FEEDSTOCK COMMUNITY BASED BIOMASS FUEL CELL AT BANGLI REGENCY – BALI PROVINCE

    This report presents the result of survey and mapping of bamboo and bamboo-waste in Bangli Regency done by LP2M/Faculty of Agriculture Warmadewa University in cooperation with Bali Clean Energy TaskForce for the purpose of calculating and estimating the potential of bamboo-waste as source of supply feedstock for 1 MW pilot project Community Based Biomass Fuel Cell (CBBFC) is planned located at Desa Bangkalet, in Bangli Regency. There were 178 households (HH) that having and planting bamboo at their land area, and 50 unit micro and smallscale household handy-crafts (MSSHH) that producing bamboo-waste by-product) surveyed. The respondents constitute of 4% of their total population, and nearly 98% of respondents agrees and supports the idea of the proposed pilot project. The total land area having by the said households is nearly 205.8 Hectare (≈ 2,058,000 m2), and out of this figure, there are around 105.7 Hectare (≈ 1,057,000 m2) specifically used for bamboo plantation, with typical bamboo’s density of 20 sticks/m2 and typical weight of 1.5 kg/m of bamboo-length. Based on site observation, and by using conservative-assumption that is default-number of specific bamboo-area is 30%, typical bamboo-waste produced by 1 stick of bamboo is 40% and efficiency of collecting bamboo-waste of 30%, then the total bamboo-waste that could be produced by the said household respondents is estimated to be of 31.3 ton/day. Moreover, there are 39 units (out of 50 units) of MSSHH have their own land area, this accounted of 14.8 Hectare (≈ 148,000 m2) of land, could produce 4.4 ton/day, and additional of 0.6 ton/day from their by-product-waste. Therefore, the sum up of all respondents could produce bamboo-waste at volume of 38.3 ton/day. The last figure is 2 times bigger than 15 ton/day of bamboo-waste required to produce 1 MW of electricity through Fuel Cell process

    Abstract This study aims to determine the marketing strategy that has been implemented so far and the factors that have become obstacles to the Cianjur grilled fish restaurant, the Denpasar branch of the Makassar branch. Sampling in this study was carried out using informant techniques, namely managers who conceptually know and understand the ins and outs of the strategy used and how to market their products, the head of the finance department who handles incoming and outgoing finances, the head of HR (personnel) who knows the quality of work of both employees sales, delivery and cashiers, and took 10 consumers to find out their responses or responses to the Denpasar Branch of the Ikan Bakar Cianjur Restaurant. Data analysis used the SWOT analysis method which includes IFAS and EFAS analysis. The results of the IFAS analysis a value of 2.8 was obtained. This indicates that it has been able to take advantage of its strengths and has been able to overcome internal weaknesses. EFAS obtained a value of 2.7. This indicates that the Denpasar branch of the Cianjur grilled fish house restaurant with respect to the external environment is quite good. From the results of the IE matrix, the strategy applied is a strategy of concentration through horizontal/stability integration. And the strategy that needs to be recommended to the Denpasar Branch of Ikan Bakar Cianjur Restaurant is to use the existing opportunities and strengths, including maintaining a restaurant business culture that has an open and spacious place. &nbsp

    The study on farmers welfare

    The agricultural targets in Indonesia, particularly in Bali, cover farmers’ welfare improvement, which is aimed to protect farmers from poverty. Some factors that may lead farmers into poverty namely: (1) The low level of technology applied; (2) The small scale of business; (3) The inefficiency of marketing system; and (4) The status of farmers who are mostly peasants. The first two factors result in a small harvest, the third factor causes farmers for receiving low prices, moreover, the fourth factor put the farmers can not make a decision but merely receiving wages. This study aims to investigate the welfare level of farmers in Denpasar based on the grade of Farmer’s Term of Trade Indices, which is analyzed according to three criteria, namely farmers who own their own lands, farmers who are both peasants and owning their own lands, and farmers who are merely peasants; to investigate farmers’ families efforts; to investigate the scale of business and the farm ownership status of farmers in Denpasar. The results of the study showed that the Farmer’s Term of Trade Indices in Denpasar is evenly 104.40%, which was included farmers who own their own lands, farmers who are both peasants and owning their own lands and farmers who are mere peasants. Since the Farmer’s Term of Trade Indices in Denpasar was found to be higher than 100.00%, it indicated that farmers in Denpasar have been able to cover their expenses through their revenues, even the revenues might be higher than the expenses

    The aim of this research is to know: the reasons of the farmer working as the craftsman, the constraints faced by the farmer as the craftsman, and the large contribution of household income of farmers as a craftsman fibers outside the agricultural sector in Munggu Village. Data collected in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires. The data were analyzed by dividing the household income from the palm craft sector with the total income of the farmer household which was then supplies. Based on the results of the analysis is known most of the respondent farmers work as craftsmen “fibers/palm “ijuk” is for economic reasons. The palm craft sector is an alternative in the effort to supplement household income since the income as a worker of palm oil producers can contribute to the total income of farm households, where the palm craft sector contributes 30,21 of the total income of farm households.     COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the corona virus that has an impact on various sectors including the health, education, tourism and economic sectors. One of the impacts in the economic sector is the Fishery MSME (micro small and medium enterprises) sector. The purpose of this study was to find out the Impact of Covid-19 on the Marketing of Koi Ornamental Fish (Cyprinus carpio) at the Niki Koi Garden MSME (micro small and medium enterprises). This study uses data analysis techniques with qualitative descriptive methods, data collection in this method by collecting data, compiling data and drawing conclusions. Determination of the sample in this study using the method of porposive sampling. The research data were collected by means of observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The results of this research were obtained: (1) there were differences in the marketing strategy of koi fish before the Covid-19 pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) there were differences in profits obtained before the Covid-19 pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic, before the Covid pandemic. -19 from January 2019 – January 2020 earned a profit of IDR 60,660,000 which was obtained from gross income minus expenses (IDR 294,660,000 – IDR 234,000,000). and during the Covid-19 pandemic from March 2020 – March 2021, you will get a profit of IDR 9,470,000 which is obtained from gross income minus expenses (IDR 243,470,000 - IDR 234,000,000.     Changes in people's consumption patterns and lifestyles have led to an increase in physical mobility driven by activities outside the home. This condition causes an increase in public demand for ready-to-eat food. The increasing demand for ready-to-eat food is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. Thus every company must try hard to achieve its goals by using various ways, one of which is the development of an appropriate marketing strategy. The success of business development will affect the amount of profit received. The financial aspect is an important factor in a business. This research is descriptive qualitative which aims to determine the implementation of the marketing strategy used, the marketing mix implemented includes product, price, place and promotion and benefits of Warung Bendega, Lebih Beach, Gianyar. Income analysis in this study is calculated based on the difference between total revenue (TR) and total cost (TC). The results of the income analysis obtained in November 2022 amounted to Rp. 2.621.167. This shows that the income earned by Warung Bendega is relatively good so that Warung Bendega's business is feasible in terms of profits.Perubahan pola konsumsi dan gaya hidup masyarakat telah menyebabkan peningkatan mobilitas fisik yang didorong oleh aktivitas di luar rumah. Kondisi ini menyebabkan meningkatnya permintaan masyarakat terhadap makanan siap saji. Meningkatnya permintaan akan makanan siap saji merupakan peluang bagi para pengusaha untuk memulai usaha sendiri. Dengan demikian setiap perusahaan harus berjuang keras untuk mencapai tujuannya dengan menggunakan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah pengembangan strategi pemasaran yang tepat. Keberhasilan pengembangan usaha akan mempengaruhi jumlah keuntungan yang diterima. Aspek keuangan merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam sebuah bisnis.
