Participação na administração como direito fundamental

This article aims at analyzing if the citizen's participation in the Administration could be seen as a fundamental right, political in nature. Regarding the current expansion of democracy, special atenttion shall be given to the participation in the Public Administration and several doctrinal definitions are presented on the matter. It's acknowledged the legal basis as a way to justify the participation in Brazil, mainly due to the country's status as a Democratic State of Law. In addition, it adresses the question on the participation in the Public Administration as a fundamental right based on the popular sovereignty.Taking these previous considerations into account, its insertion under the political rights is analysed through the interpretation of the brazilian law. In conclusion, the ponderations regarding the necessity of acting prudently when dealing with this particular participation are presented.O presente artigo visa abordar a questão da possibilidade da participação popular na Administração ser considerada como direito fundamental, de cunho eminentemente político. Mencionando a expansão democrática atualmente verificada, confere-se especial atenção à participação na Administração Pública, sendo apresentadas diversas definições doutrinárias sobre o tema. São destacadas bases legais para amparar a participação no Brasil, principalmente em razão de sua qualificação como Estado Democrático de Direito. Após, discute-se a possível constituição da participação como direito fundamental, tomando por base a soberania popular. Tomando tais dados em consideração, sua inserção no quadro dos direitos políticos é abordada por meio da interpretação de alguns dispositivos da ordem jurídica brasileira. Finalmente, são apresentadas conclusões e feitas ponderações quanto à necessidade de prudência quando se trata da participação na Administração

Solitary fibrous tumor of the tongue

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a benign mesenchymal neoplasm originally described in pleura with a rare presentation in the oral cavity. Herein, we report a case of a 28-year-old male patient who presented an asymptomatic slow-growing mass in the anterior part of the tongue. Intraoral examination revealed a well-circumscribed mass covered by normal mucosa with a fibrous consistency. Due to non-specific clinical findings, the initial diagnostic hypotheses include benign submucosal neoplasms such as leiomyoma, neurofibroma, SFT, and others. An excisional biopsy was performed. Microscopically, the tumor was surrounded by a thick fibrous capsule; hypo and hypercellular areas were arranged in a storiform pattern with a stroma formed by collagen and abundant vascularization. Tumor cells showed immunopositivity for CD34 and STAT-6 and no expression of CD99, AML, S-100, and Ki-67. According to these findings, the diagnosis of SFT was established. After 24 months, the patient is asymptomatic and has no evidence of recurrence. Although oral involvement is rare, SFT should be included in the differential diagnosis of oral submucosal lesions

Formação geral no ENADE: um estudo sobre o curso de Secretariado Executivo da Universidade Federal de Sergipe

This study aimed to analyze the means adopted by the students of Executive Secretariat of the Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) for the generation of knowledge, focused on the questions of General Formation (FG) of the National Examination of Student Performance (ENADE). The investigation is configured as a case study, using as instruments of data collection the tables of the ENADE Concept of the years 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2018, and a questionnaire applied to those enrolled for the realization of the exam in 2018. The results indicate that the main means adopted by students to keep up to date with the news and issues of the country and the world are television programs and digital magazines. Although the first indication also appears as a preparation tool for the FG exam, respondents indicated books as the second resource for specific studies on general knowledge. In conclusion, it was found that even though the students mentioned aspects involving a behavior interested in permanent updating, this does not seem to represent an evolution in their results on general knowledgeEste trabalho teve como objetivo analisar os meios adotados pelos discentes de Secretariado Executivo da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) para a geração de conhecimentos, voltados às questões de Formação Geral (FG) do Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (ENADE). A investigação configura-se como um estudo de caso, utilizando como instrumentos de coleta de dados as tabelas do Conceito ENADE dos anos de 2009, 2012, 2015 e 2018, e um questionário aplicado aos inscritos na referida instituição para a realização do exame em 2018. Os resultados indicam que o principal meio adotado pelos estudantes para se manterem atualizados quanto às notícias e aos assuntos do país e do mundo são os programas televisivos e as revistas digitais. Embora a primeira indicação surja também como instrumento de preparação para a prova de FG, os respondentes indicaram os livros como segundo recurso para os estudos específicos sobre conhecimentos gerais. TUTORIA A DISTÂNCIA: SOBRE O TRABALHO E A DOCÊNCIA

Este artigo aborda as reflexões realizadas a partir dos relatos de cinco tutoras a distância que atuaram no curso de Especialização em Educação de Jovens e Adultos na Diversidade, vinculado ao Sistema Universidade Aberta do Brasil - UAB/CAPES, a respeito dos sentidos do trabalho na tutoria a distância. Ao longo da escrita problematiza-se a ação docente desenvolvida pelos tutores e os diferentes papéis que assumem na organização da Educação a Distância, questionando principalmente as influências do Modo de Produção Capitalista na estrutura da EaD e consequentemente no trabalho dos tutores, que se estabelece no âmbito educacional como um trabalho terceirizado, desenvolvido por meio de prestação de serviços temporários e que caracterizam a lógica capitalista da precarização e exploração da mão de obra trabalhadora

Desempenho de juvenis de pacu alimentados com rações suplementadas com L-carnitina

The objective of this work was to determine the effect of L-carnitine supplementation on the productive performance and physiology of juvenile pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus). A total of 288 pacu, with an initial average weight of 9.62±0.74 g, were fed experimental diets supplemented with 400, 800, 1,200, 1,600, and 2,000 mg kg-1 L-carnitine and a control diet (without supplementation), for 128 days. The following were evaluated: growth performance; carcass centesimal composition; intestinal, muscle, and hepatic histomorphologies; and oxidative stress. The fish hepatosomatic and viscerosomatic fat indexes increased with the inclusion of L-carnitine in the diets. The evaluation of carcass centesimal composition showed that the diets supplemented with 2,000 mg kg-1 L-carnitine caused a reduction in protein content and an increase in that of ethereal extract. Intestinal histomorphology indicated changes in the villi with L-carnitine supplementation. Moreover, hepatic lipid peroxidation occurred with the inclusion of 2,000 mg kg-1 L-carnitine. The supplementation with L-carnitine in the diets of pacu juveniles does not influence the development of the fish until the rate of 1,600 mg kg-1. However, high carcass lipid levels, as well as an increase in the hepatosomatic and viscerosomatic fat indexes, are observed in fish fed diets containing 2,000 mg kg-1.O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar o efeito da suplementação de L-carnitina no desempenho produtivo e na fisiologia de juvenis de pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus). Um total de 288 pacus, com peso inicial médio de 9,62±0,74 g, foram alimentados com dietas experimentais suplementadas com 400, 800, 1.200, 1.600 e 2.000 mg kg-1 de L-carnitina e com uma dieta controle (sem suplementação), por 128 dias. Foram avaliados: desempenho produtivo; composição centesimal da carcaça; histomorfologias intestinal, muscular e hepática; e estresse oxidativo. Os índices hepatossomático e de gordura viscerossomática dos peixes aumentaram com a inclusão de L-carnitina nas rações. A avaliação da composição centesimal da carcaça mostrou que as dietas suplementadas com 2.000 mg kg-1 de L-carnitina causaram redução no conteúdo de proteína e aumento no de extrato etéreo. A histomorfologia intestinal indicou alterações nas vilosidades com a suplementação de L-carnitina. Além disso, a peroxidação lipídica hepática ocorreu com a inclusão de 2.000 mg kg-1 de L-carnitina. A suplementação de L-carnitina em dietas para juvenis de pacu não influencia o desenvolvimento dos peixes até a dose de 1.600 mg kg-1. Entretanto, observam-se elevados níveis de lipídeos na carcaça, assim como aumento nos índices hepatossomáticos e de gordura viscerossomática, em peixes alimentados com rações contendo 2.000 mg kg-1

Scrum as a platform to manage students in projects of technological development and scientific initiation: a study case realized at UNIT/SE

This paper deals with the Scrum methodology as an alternative to pedagogical practices and managing of the software projects, presenting an investigation with the students of scientific initiation of an university from the Brazil's northeast. It was seeking to analyze the accomplishment of the students with the Scrum practices, as well the percepetion of the learning of the methodology, showing the positive aspects and the negative ones through this experience. As a conclusion, the Scrum methodology is indicated to manage projects even when the team has limited or none experience promoting the learning, adding value and satisfaction to the student.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Major aspects of the use of bisphosphonates for dental implants in patients with or without osteoporosis:: a systematic review of clinical studies

Introduction: In the setting of Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (MRONJ) it was first reported in association with the use of bisphosphonates (BP) by maxillofacial surgeons. The potency and route of administration of BPs are identified as important risk factors. Objective: It was to evaluate the use of bisphosphonates and their side effects in patients with or without osteoporosis, with emphasis on osteonecrosis of the jaws, for dental implants. Methods: The systematic review rules of the PRISMA Platform were followed. The search was carried out from October to December 2022 in the Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, Scielo, and Google Scholar databases, using articles from 2005 to 2022. The quality of the studies was based on the GRADE instrument and the risk of bias was analyzed accordingly. according to the Cochrane instrument. Results and Conclusion: A total of 120 articles were found, and 55 articles were evaluated in full and 34 were included and developed in this systematic review study. Considering the Cochrane tool for risk of bias, the overall assessment resulted in 15 studies with a high risk of bias and 32 studies that did not meet GRADE. For patients with established osteoporosis, there are drugs that, in general, act directly on the bone remodeling process, seeking to reduce bone resorption, including BP, which are drugs of proven efficacy that act in the prevention and treatment of several bone diseases. Osteoporosis is a factor that delays the regeneration of the maxillary bone in patients submitted to implant surgery, prolonging the normal recovery time of the maxillary bone, which can vary from three to six months. Alendronate sodium is used to decrease bone resorption, the drug should be considered an adjuvant therapeutic agent for the treatment of osteoporosis. However, studies have shown that there is a risk of osteonecrosis with the use of bisphosphonates
