High-order full discretization for anisotropic wave equations

Two-dimensional linear wave equation in anisotropic media, on a rectangular domain with initial conditions and periodic boundary conditions, is considered. The energy of the problem is contemplated. The space discretization is reached by means of finite differences on a uniform grid, paying attention to the mixed derivative of the equation. The discrete energy of the semi-discrete problem is introduced. For the time integration of the system of ordinary differential equations obtained, a fourth order exponential splitting method, which is a geometric integrator, is proposed. This time integrator is efficient and easy to implement. The stability condition for time step and space step ratio is deduced. Numerical experiments displaying the good behavior in the long time integration and the efficiency of the numerical solution are provided.MTM2015-66837-P del Ministerio de Economía y Competitivida

Near conserving energy numerical schemes for two-dimensional coupled seismic wave equations

Two-dimensional coupled seismic waves, satisfying the equations of linear isotropic elasticity, on a rectangular domain with initial conditions and periodic boundary conditions, are considered. A quantity conserved by the solution of the continuous problem is used to check the numerical solution of the problem. Second order spatial derivatives, in the x direction, in the y direction and mixed derivative, are approximated by finite differences on a uniform grid. The ordinary second order in time system obtained is transformed into a first order in time system in the displacement and velocity vectors. For the time integration of this system, second order and fourth order exponential splitting methods, which are geometric integrators, are proposed. These explicit splitting methods are not unconditionally stable and the stability condition for time step and space step ratio is deduced. Time exponential splitting integrator for the Klein–Gordon equation with free parameters in the Hagstrom–Warburton absorbing boundary conditions

The Klein–Gordon equation on an infinite two dimensional strip is considered. Numerical computation is reduced to a finite domain by using the Hagstrom–Warburton (H–W) absorbing boundary conditions (ABCs) with free parameters in the formulation of the auxiliary variables. The spatial discretization is achieved by using fourth order finite differences and the time integration is made by means of an efficient and easy to implement fourth order exponential splitting scheme which was used in Alonso-Mallo and Portillo (2016) considering the fixed Padé parameters in the formulation of the ABCs. Here, we generalize the splitting time technique to other choices of the parameters. To check the timeintegrator we consider, on one hand, fourty peso ffixed parameters, the Newmann’s parameters, the Chebyshev’s parameters, the Padé’s parameters and optimal parameters proposed in Hagstrom et al. (2007) and, on the other hand, an adaptive scheme for the dynamic control of the order of absorption and the parameters. Estudio del sueño en pacientes pediátricos afectos de parálisis cerebral

Los pacientes afectos de Parálisis Cerebral (PC) muestran problemática diversa de carácter motor, cognitivo, digestivo, sensorial, etc, que producen importante morbilidad y merma en la calidad de vida. Entre las alteraciones que se han descrito como más prevalentes e interfirientes en estos pacientes se encuentran las alteraciones del sueño. Objetivos: analizar la presencia de alteraciones del sueño en un grupo de pacientes afectos de PC moderada y severa, así como el análisis de algunos factores clínicos que pudieran influir o favorecer la presencia de alteraciones del sueño.Grado en Medicin

La doble presunción de donación de persona casada en régimen separación bienes. Art. 78.1.º y 2.º de la Ley 22/2003, Concursal

En el trabajo se analiza un tema de candente actualidad como es el régimen jurídico del nuevo Derecho concursal, y dentro del mismo, la doble presunción de donación de persona casada en régimen de separación de bienes regulada en el art. 78 de la Ley Concursal 22/2003, de 9 de julio. La Ley 22/2003, de 9 de julio, ha optado por trasladar la ubicación de «la presunción muciana concursal» del ámbito civil al ámbito concursal (en la línea de los sucesivos intentos de reforma del Derecho concursal, arts. 264 APLC 1983 y 79 PAPLC 1995), si bien con una regulación que difiere notablemente de los referidos precedentes y del Derecho vigente hasta su aprobación, es decir, arts. 1.442 del Código Civil y 12 del Código de Familia de Cataluña. El art. 78.1 LC contiene dos presunciones iuris tantum en beneficio de la masa activa, en el caso de declaración de concurso de persona casada en régimen de separación de bienes. Dichas presunciones, según el art. 78.2 LC, «no regirán cuando los cónyuges estuvieran judicialmente separados o de hecho».Section 78.1 LC (Bankruptcy Act) contains two presunciones iuris tantum for the benefit of the estate, in the case of the filing for bankruptcy of a person made under the separation of property regime. These presumptions, according to section 78.2 LC «will not prevail when the spouses are legally or de-facto separated».Im vorliegenden Artikel wird ein Thema von brennender Aktualität behandelt, wie es das neue Spanische Konkursrecht darstellt, und innerhalb desselben, die zweifache Vermutung der Schenkung durch den Ehepartner bei einer Gütertrennungsvereinbarung, wie sie im Art. 78 des Konkursgesetzes 22/2003, vom 9. Juli festgeschrieben ist. Das Spanische Konkursgesetz 22/2003, vom 9. Juli hat sich dafür entschieden, die «praesumptio Muciana bei Konkursanmeldung» aus dem Bereich des Zivilrechts in das Konkursrecht zu verlagern (dies liegt in der Linie der fortlaufenden Reformversuche des Konkursrechts, Art. 264 APLC 1983 und 79 PAPLC 1995). Jedoch weicht die Reglementierung der nachgenannten Artikel erheblich von den vorhergehenden Artikeln und dem derzeit geltenden Recht bis zu deren Gesetzesverabschiedung Art. 1442 des Spanischen Bürgerlichen Rechts und dem Art. 12 des Familiengesetzes der Autonomen Region Katalonien. Der Art. 78 Absatz 1 des Spanischen Konkursrechts (LC) enthält zwei Vermutungen iuris tantum zu Gunsten der Vermögensmasse im Falle der Konkursanmeldung eines Ehepartners mit Gütertrennungsvereinbarung. Problemas verbales de reparto igualatorio en la educación infantil

Esta investigación plantea un taller de problemas aritméticos en educación infantil, compuesto por ocho problemas, en el que se introducen dos problemas de reparto igualatorio a niños de 5-6 años. Se trata de averiguar si los alumnos de estas edades son capaces de resolver los problemas de forma manipulativa y observar las estrategias que utilizan los niños. Los problemas de reparto igualatorio parten de dos cantidades, una mayor que la otra, y hay que conseguir igualar ambas cantidades sin añadir objetos externos. La incógnita en el primer problema planteado es la cantidad a igualar y en el segundo problema es la cantidad de contadores que cede el grupo que tiene más objetos al que tiene menos.
