This study aims to analyze the relationship between the values relating to work and the organizational entrenchment of the servers of a public university. Additionally, it is intended to compare the values related to work and organizational entrenchment between teachers and administrative technicians. In view of this, there is a quantitative research, of a descriptive nature, with 384 employees of a public university, in which two previously validated scales were adopted: the Revised Scale of Values Relating to Work, of Porto and Pilati (2010); and the Organizational Entrenchment Scale, of Rodrigues and Bastos (2012). For the data treatment, descriptive, inferential statistics (t-test and Mann-Whitney test) and Spearman's correlation were used. The results indicate that there are positive relations between adjustment to social position and achievement; between impersonal bureaucratic arrangements and universalism and benevolence; and between limitation of alternatives and compliance; and negative relationships between impersonal bureaucratic arrangements and security; and between limitation of alternatives and safety. In general, administrative technicians feel more employability constraints than do teachers, and teachers, in turn, prioritize more authority, wealth, social recognition, and authority by comparing them with administrative technicians

Abstract: This study aimed to develop and validate the semantics and content of the Reception and Screening System for Oral Health Services (SATSB) of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). The instrument guides the reception and emergency risk classification in spontaneous oral health demand in SUS primary health care. The first step of the study was content validation, which included the delimitation of the theoretical model, the allocation of diseases and health conditions in the Manchester Triage System scores validated for use in Brazil and was carried out through focus groups with experts. The second step was to validate the semantics of the Reception and Screening System through focus groups carried out with oral health technicians and assistants, who critically evaluated and applied it to users who sought the emergency dental service. A visual analogue pain scale was administered to test the discrimination power of SATSB. SATSB and the pain scale showed similar results, discriminating the problems into urgent, little urgent and non-urgent. It could be observed that about 50% of users sought the service were not urgent cases, which did not require examination or assistance by the dentist. SATSB proved to be valid and useful for reception and risk classification in primary care emergency dental services, being able to be used to organize the demand in a humanized and effective way. Keywords: Screening. Genetic diversity and structure of two species of Enyalius (Squamata: Leiosauridae) from neotropical biodiversity hotspots. Enyalius, a lizard genus endemic to South America, is mostly distributed in the remains of the Atlantic Forest and in the Cerrado. The genus has been the topic of a few studies but none has quantified the genetic diversity and structure within and among populations of Enyalius. The genetic diversity and structure of populations of E. bilineatus (N = 20) and E. perditus (N = 28) are examined using a 234-bp fragment of the cytochrome b gene and compared with the sequences reported in other published data. Nineteen distinct haplotypes (eleven for E. perditus and eight for E. bilineatus) were found, eight of which were recorded for the first time. The haplotype diversities are highly similar for both species (0.684 for E. perditus and 0.647 for E. bilineatus). The genetic distance between the two species is 20.3% and the distance within species is 2.0% and 5.6% for E. perditus and E. bilineatus, respectively. Our data suggest that populations of E. bilineatus are genetically divergent and may reveal cryptic diversity. This is the first study to quantify the genetic diversity of species of Enyalius from Neotropical biodiversity hotspots. These data facilitate a better understanding of both within and among population variation, and highlight the distribution of genetic lineages of an endemic and poorly studied genus

Background: Frailty assessment in the elderly and its relationship to sociodemographic and health characteristics. Method: Quantitative study, descriptive and cross-sectional study, conducted between April to July 2014, at two Family Health Units in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. The sample consisted of 203 elderly. The data collection procedure occurred through a structured interview, which used two instruments. Results: The average age of the participants was 68.59 years; among them, 83 (40.89%) did not show weakness, 45 (22.17%) were apparently vulnerable and 75 (36.94%) were frail. The weakness associated with low education, widowhood, heart disease, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, urinary tract infection, depression, six classes of drugs (antidiabetic, antidepressant, anxiolytic, and antacid against osteoporosis) and fall episode. Conclusions: We conclude that assessment of frailty is important to detect the risk and/or embrittlement process already installed in the elderly
