Neste trabalho, utilizaram-se tomografias computorizadas de pacientes, que permitiram desenvolver modelos geométricos e com densidade óssea aproximada, para posterior inserção de uma prótese de joelho.     ROBOPHISH: um sistema de robôs de software (RPA) para agilizar e automatizar o tratamento do phishing

É recorrente os utilizadores receberem grandes quantidades de emails de phishing, quer no contexto empresarial como no pessoal, sendo possível que estes representem um impacto muito significativo nas vítimas. A sofisticação deste tipo de ataques é cada vez maior, verificando-se um aumento de ataques de spear phishing, altamente direcionados, bem redigidos e eficazes. Estes ataques servem frequentemente como mecanismo para levar à infeção com malware mais sofisticado que, por sua vez, pode incluir novos tipos de ransomware ou wipers. Concorrentemente os processos atuais de resposta a esta crise ainda são pouco integrados, pouco eficientes e muito ad-hoc. Estes fatores levam a um dificuldade acrescida na prevenção e mitigação do phishing, fazendo deste um problema atual e complexo. Neste projeto são analisados os atuais processos e iniciativas da Altice Portugal e é proposta uma solução inovadora mais automatizada e integrada, tirando partido de tecnologias emergentes: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) e Crowdsourcing. O sistema RoboPHISH surge então com o objetivo de colmatar este problema, tendo como objetivo principal o bloquear os emails maliciosos enquanto são dadas respostas de forma eficaz e rápida aos colaboradores. O RoboPHISH é uma ferramenta capaz de tirar partido do RPA para extrair e analisar emails que os colaboradores consideraram suspeitos e atribuir uma classificação aos mesmos. O sistema está divido em três componentes principais, a primeira corresponde à denúncia dos emails, a segunda à análise e atribuição de categoria dos mesmos e por último a atuação junto das plataformas para mitigar o problema. O sistema foi desenvolvido, testado e encontra-se neste momento em produção na Direção de Cibersegurança (DCY), mostrando ser uma ferramenta útil e eficaz no combate ao phishing e apresentando resultados promissores.Nowadays phishing attacks are a relevant and pertinent threat given the substantial increase in their quality and quantity. Mailboxes filled with phishing emails are common occurrences, whether in a personal of professional context, possibly impacting significant their victims. The sophistication in these attacks is increasing, with a greater number of spear phishing attacks, highly targeted, well written and effective. These attacks frequently serve as a vehicle to install sophisticated malware that may contain new types of ransomware or wipers. The current processes to respond to this crisis are not fully capable of dealing with it, being poorly integrated, inefficient and ad-hoc. These problems lead to a difficulty in the prevention and mitigation of phishing attacks, making this a current and complex problem. In this project the current processes and initiatives of the company (Altice Portugal) are analyzed and a more automated and integrated innovative solution is proposed. This solution takes advantage of emerging technologies: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Crowdsourcing. The RoboPHISH system emerges with the aim of addressing this problem, with the main goal of blocking malicious emails while giving efficient and quick responses to the employees. RoboPHISH is a tool capable of taking advantage of RPA to extract and analyze emails that employees consider suspicious and assign a rating to them. The system is divided into three main components, the first being the email report, the second the analyses and categorization of the email and the third the mitigation of the attack in the correct platforms. The system was developed, tested and is currently in production at Direção de Cibersegurança (DCY), showing to be a useful and effective tool in combating phishing and presenting promising results

    Identification of clinical predictors of flare in systemic lupus erythematosus patients: a 24-month prospective cohort study

    Objective. SLE has a relapsing-remitting course with disease activity flares over time. This study aims to identify clinical predictors of SLE flares.Methods. This prospective cohort study over 24 months included all SLE patients on follow-up at one academic lupus clinic. Flare was defined as an increase in SLEDAI-2K score ≥4 points. Baseline clinical and demographic parameters were compared using survival analysis for time-to-flare outcome with univariate log-rank tests. Variables with significant differences were further evaluated as predictors with multivariate Cox regression models adjusting for potential confounding or contributing factors and hazard ratio (HR) calculation.Results. A total of 202 SLE patients were included. Over the follow-up period, 1083 visits were documented and 16.8% of patients presented with flares. In multivariate analysis, the following parameters emerged as flare predictors: SLE diagnosis up to 25 years of age (HR = 2.14, P = 0.03), lupus nephritis previous to baseline visit (HR = 4.78, P < 0.0001) and immunosuppressor treatment for severe SLE (HR = 3.22, P < 0.001). Baseline disease activity, disease duration and treatment with prednisone or HCQ were not predictive factors.Conclusion. Patients with an SLE diagnosis before age 25 years, lupus nephritis or immunosuppressor treatment for severe SLE present greater HRs for flares, suggesting the need for tighter clinical monitoring. Current immunosuppressive strategies seem to be inefficient in providing flare prevention

    São inquestionáveis os avanços das tecnologias da computação e da comunicação no mundo globalizado, e com eles o profissional da informação tem o papel de ser o gestor das unidades de informação, cabendo ao mesmo tratar não só do fluxo informacional da empresa, mas dos documentos que são recebidos e produzidos por ela. Essas unidades informacionais podem constituir uma biblioteca, um centro de documentação ou um arquivo. Dentro dessa perspectiva, esta pesquisa trata da organização dos documentos do Departamento de Recursos Humanos que estão depositados no Arquivo Municipal Prof. Arnoldo Beber da Prefeitura Municipal de Rondonópolis ⁄ MT, através das normas de gestão documental, p revistas na Lei n.º 8159 de 8 de Janeiro de 1991, que dispõe sobre a gestão de documentos públicos e privados. O referencial teórico apresenta considerações e definições acerca da gestão de documentos de arquivos, das novas tecnologias e dos profissionais da informação frente à gestão da informação e mostra a relevância da informatização de uma unidade de informação. Leva-se em conta que estes requisitos vieram a dar base ao trabalho de organização documental do acervo mencionado do Departamento de Recursos Humanos

    Synthesis and luminescence properties of analogues of the green fluorescent protein chromophore

    The green fluorescent protein (GFP) is extensively used as a biomarker for fluorescence biological imaging. The chromophore in GFP is only fluorescent when confined into the β–barrel of the protein. Similarly, synthetic analogues of the fluorophore of GFP are usually non-emissive in solution, due to free rotation around the aryl-alkene bond and (Z/E)-isomerization of the double bond. Here, the synthesis and characterization of three analogues of the fluorophore of GFP are reported. The introduction of more electron donating substituents induces a red-shift in the absorption and emission. The fluorophores are more emissive in the solid state than in solution, and a study of their crystal structure reveals that the (Z/E)-isomerization is efficiently blocked in the crystals.publishe

    Seasonal availability of floral resources and ambient temperature shape stingless bee foraging behavior (Scaptotrigona aff. depilis)

    International audienceAbstractThe foraging success of a bee species is related to a combination of climatic factors and resource availability. Here, we analyzed how food storage by the stingless bee Scaptotrigona aff. depilis relates to the seasonal variation in floral resources availability in a tropical environment with two well-defined seasons. We found a positive relationship between the amount of food stored and resource availability, suggesting that colonies intensify food collection in the season with higher food availability (rainy season). This ensures the perennial state of stingless bee colonies during the dry season (food scarcity and lower ambient temperatures). Bees collected pollen from at least 60 plant species, but food pots were dominated by just nine plants. Additionally, S. aff depilis attempted to unevenly use the plant species for food storage in the rainy season, which indicates that the colonies maximize their food intake as soon as resources are available

    SFRH/BD/75233/2010 SFRH/BD/76416/2011 UID/HIS/04666/2013In June 2014 CHAM developed an assessment mission of a collection of ship timbers scattered over Belinho beach, during the winter storms that affected the northern Portuguese coast. These timbers are part of a possible shipwreck context, with several archaeological materials, among which stands out a collection of pewter and copper alloy plates and porringers. These materials were recovered by the Esposende City Council that sent the artefacts for conservation and restoration and maintains the timbers in water tanks. This first assessment considered an analysis of the most important timbers, which allowed some preliminary considerations about the type of construction and the ship's chronology.     Pollen Collected and Foraging Activities of Frieseomelitta varia (Lepeletier) (Hymenoptera: Apidae) in an Urban Landscape

    Cities provide resources for animal species that live within them or inhabit their surroundings. This has motivated an increase in ecological studies of urban areas, including the interactions between plants and pollinators. From March 2010 to February 2011, the flowering plants present in the study area, located at the Universidade de São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto, were sampled to evaluate how floral sources were distributed throughout the year. Concurrently, worker bees with pollen loads were collected from four colonies of Frieseomelitta varia (Lepeletier, 1836) to identify the sources used by bees. Despite an increase in plant species abundance in July, plants were in bloom year-round and consequently, the production and supply of floral resources were continuous. The workers collected resources from 77 plant species, but only three were extensively exploited. Delonix regia (Leguminosae), Poincianella pluviosa (Leguminosae) and Ceiba speciosa (Malvaceae) accounted for 42% of total pollen grains quantified during the year, showing that F. varia intensify pollen collection at few sources at spatiotemporal scale. This study emphasizes the importance of native urban flora to maintain F. varia and other bee species. The list of plants presented in this study can be used in the design and planning of urban areas
